Relentlessly Pursue Me

Ruth 1:16 (NIV) But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

Beloved, choose Me. Refuse to settle for any substitute. Relentlessly pursue Me. Make Me your obsession. For those who are steadfast to Me will not be put to shame. Rather My glory shines through them – blatantly apparent in their lives, a beacon to those around them – calling them to Me.

So be unapologetic in your pursuit – persisting through trials and would-be distractions. Time and again choose Me above everything because you know that I AM worthy. I AM faithful. And I love you.

Persist in Faith

James 1:3 (AMP) Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].

Beloved, resist the urge to hide from times of testing, for – though they are challenging – they are always for your good. So embrace the trials with joy, knowing that as you persist in faith you are cultivating beautiful character that is well worth the effort.

Just as Jesus slept during the storm, so you can find peace even in the midst of chaos and turbulence when your heart rests in Me. So embrace the peace that comes with being a child of God, and face the journey ahead with confidence knowing whether good times await or bad, it is well with your soul.

James 1:2-5 (VOICE) Don’t run from tests and hardships, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line —mature, complete, and wanting nothing. If you don’t have all the wisdom needed for this journey, then all you have to do is ask God for it; and God will grant all that you need. He gives lavishly and never scolds you for asking.

Press Through

Numbers 22:22 (VOICE) Nevertheless, God was angry that Balaam was going. He sent His own messenger as an adversary to stand in Balaam’s way, blocking the prophet’s path. Now Balaam was riding on his donkey, and he had two servants too.

Beloved, press through. Not in the sense of forcing something like a square peg in a round hole, but rather in resisting the urge to give up. I AM at work even when it seems like I’m not. Look for the way I have made for you.

Remember I will hedge your way with thorns, so if you’re not finding a way through, keep looking. I may be the one who has blocked your path. Be willing to turn around or go another direction. Trust Me to move. Trust Me to lead. Trust Me to have a plan and be walking you through it. The plans I have for you are good plans, beloved, so trust in Me. Continue reading “Press Through”
