Sow with Intention

Galatians 6:7 (NLT) Don’t be misled–you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.

Beloved, do not deceive yourself or allow yourself to be misled. You cannot sow in selfishness, and reap a harvest of blessing. Nor can you sow in unrighteous judgment, and think to reap in mercy.

Sow with intention. To reap a harvest of love, sow love – sow compassion and forgiveness. To reap a harvest of blessing, sow generously and with wisdom. Make wise choices, beloved, and be intentional to delight in the things of Me, for I AM a God of justice, and only I can satisfy.

Ask Rightly

1 Kings 3:12 (AMP) behold, I have done as you asked. I have given you a wise and discerning heart (mind), so that no one before you was your equal, nor shall anyone equal to you arise after you.

Beloved, I hear and respond. Be mindful to ask rightly. For many accuse Me of faithlessness when the motivations behind their requests were amiss. Yet in My abundant patience I cause situations and circumstances to open their eyes and I extend My grace to them.

But you, beloved, desire to ask rightly. So invite Me to inspect your heart and stay open to My loving chastening. I will not grow angry or frustrated at your petitions, so extend the same grace to Me in My responses. And always ask for wisdom, for I will never withhold it. And in turn use it to know Me more. Trust My Mighty Breaker Anointing

2 Samuel 5:20 (VOICE) So David battled the Philistines at Baal-perazim and defeated them. David: The Eternal has broken through my enemies in front of me like water bursting through a dam. That is why the place was named Baal-perazim, meaning “the Lord who bursts through.”

Beloved, I brought water from a rock that quenched a nation. Do you believe your circumstances are more dire, or a solution more impossible? There is nothing too hard for Me. Trust My mighty breaker anointing, for I AM fully able to break through.

My solutions often take unexpected form, so be ready and alert that you will receive your blessing in its time. I AM a creative God, for I AM YHVH Bore – the Lord your creator. Watch, and see Me move. For I brought forth light from nothingness, and I still speak forth life into existence today.

Find Your Shelter in Me

Proverbs 29:25 (VOICE) If you fear other people, you are walking into a dangerous trap; but if you trust in the Eternal, you will be safe.

Beloved, refuse to be caught in the snare of the enemy. Resist the urge to be caught up in the fear of man, for I AM Lord of All. What man is higher than Me? Whose hand extends further than Mine?

Find peace in Me, beloved. I AM El Elyon, the most high God, and there is none above Me. Find your shelter in the shadow of My wings, and in that place find your rest. I AM all you need.

Be Holy as I AM Holy

Romans 6:1-2 (NLT) Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

Beloved, returning to sin makes about as much sense as rolling in dog excrement right after bathing. When you gave your life to Me, you chose a clean life. That choice declared future intentions. Would you then go back on your word as though it were nothing simply because you know that I love you enough to forgive you again?

Just as a good parent will continue to love their child regardless of their behavior, so I will always love you – even though that love comes at a cost. But I also know the consequences to your choices and want better for you. So make wise choices, beloved. Be steadfast in your desire to walk in righteousness – be holy as I AM holy.

Calibrate Your Behavior to Align with My Word

Proverbs 1:10 (VOICE) My son, should your less honorable peers pressure you to do what is wrong, you should be strong enough not to go along.

Beloved, refuse to be pressured into bad or questionable behavior by those around you. Calibrate your behavior to align with My Word. I AM your true north – your guiding star, so look to Me for direction and refuse to be knocked off course.

Rather than succumbing to pressure, be a standard setter yourself. Quietly lead by example that others might see what it looks like to live in a way that honors Me. Trust Me to strengthen you. Focus on being a God-pleaser instead of a pleaser of men. For in the end, I AM the One who matters, so look to Me.

Hold Your Tongue

James 3:5 (CSB) So too, though the tongue is a small part of the body, it boasts great things. Consider how a small fire sets ablaze a large forest.

Beloved, remember that even a small spark can start a forest fire that devastates thousands of acres. Resist the urge to judge by man’s standards, thinking a simple joke or teasing word is “no big deal.” Consult My Spirit, for woe be to the one whose “joke” damages the spirit of another.

Remember that I hear every word. These are My beloved creations you are speaking to, so be sure to do so with care. For anything that undermines the work of My Spirit or the identity I have given is a work of darkness. Whose kingdom would you build? So be intentional, and seek My wisdom, for it is better to hold your tongue than hurt one of My children. Continue reading “Hold Your Tongue”

Tame Your Tongue

James 3:3-4 (CSB) Now if we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we direct their whole bodies. And consider ships: Though very large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs.

Beloved, though your tongue may seem like a small muscle, it can wield more damage than the fiercest blow another could deliver. Tame it, for you are responsible for every word that departs from it. Just as those who have intentionally or thoughtlessly injured you, so you have done to others. So extend forgiveness even as you yourself need it.

Resist the urge to minimize the potential hurt your words may inflict. Remember that echoes of painful words may repeat and continue their damage for decades to come. So be slow to speak, weighing each word – seeking insight from My Spirit. Let Holy Spirit lead you rightly, and help guard your tongue that you might be known as a fountain of life. Worldly Judgment is Flawed

James 3:14 (NLT) But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying.

Beloved, resist the urge to “keep up with the Joneses,” or feel a need to put on a false front. Trust Me to lead you rightly and meet every need. Refuse to covet that which belongs to another. Instead rejoice with them, and be grateful for all you’ve been given.

There is no need to posture or lie to impress, for who would you seek to please above Me? Rather be singular in your focus. Keep your eyes and heart fixed on Me. Know that the world’s judgment is flawed, so refuse to curry its favor or seek its approval. I AM all you need. Continue reading “Worldly Judgment is Flawed”

Righteous Reflection

Psalm 141:5 (VOICE) Let those who do right strike me down in kindness and correct me in love. Their kind correction washes over my head like pure oil; do not let me be foolish and refuse such compassion…

Beloved, stay receptive to correction and open to instruction. Let those who speak in wisdom reflect My heart. For I guide you with My eye, and chasten those I love, so expect My direction from wherever it may come.

Refuse to take offense to admonishment. For even when unkindly given, it may give insight that can strengthen you. So bring it all to Me in prayer, trusting that I will lead you. Then in humility live as best as you can as a righteous reflection of Me.
