Adonai Elohim (Lord God)

Habakkuk 3:19 (NASB) The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.

Beloved, I AM Lord and I AM God. I AM Adonai Elohim – Lord God, the infinite – the I AM. I AM your strength, your safety – your ever present One. Rely on Me. Choose Me. Trust Me.

Refuse to be one who declares trust with their mouth, but whose actions tell a different tale. Let your choices speak for you that your life may declare who I AM and who you know Me to be. For I AM, and I AM faithful. Choose Me.

Write the Vision

Revelation 21:5 (NLT) And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

Beloved, listen to My voice and heed My direction. Make note of what I’m saying. For there will come a time when you look back and think, “Surely the Lord didn’t speak so clearly,” or “Surely He didn’t really tell me where we were going before we began.”

And yet beloved, I do just that. I want you to see My hand in your life. I want you to be confident you hear My voice. So write the vision and make it plain. Take note and see, precious one, that I AM speaking and you are listening. Continue reading “Write the Vision”

Let Gratitude Build Your Strength

Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP) The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].

Beloved, let gratitude build your strength. For as you embrace My goodness and respond in thanksgiving and praise, the stone-like concerns that weigh you down are lightened and the chain-like burdens that would hinder you are broken – and you are set free.

In the freedom of gratitude, you find strength as the power is removed from the things that would hold you back. As you focus on Me, your confidence builds. And as you rest in Me, your feet are made sure. So embrace gratitude, and fill your mouth with praise. Be emboldened as you are infused with My strength, and be made whole.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 (AMP) Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet And makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]…

Be a Person of Gratitude

Habakkuk 3:18 (AMP) Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation!

Beloved, choose to be a person of gratitude, and be known by that choice. Set an example of a life full of thanksgiving that transcends circumstance, that others may see and know what walking with Me looks like.

Resentment and worry don’t serve you well, nor testify of My goodness and grace. So be intentional to look for My fingerprints, and be moved by My touch. For what I have done is sufficient – dayenu, it is enough. And though more is likely coming, choose to be more focused on gratitude than increase. For the contentment that comes from resting in gratitude is a blessing all its own.

A Better Choice

Habakkuk 3:17 (AMP) Though the fig tree does not blossom And there is no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive fails And the fields produce no food, Though the flock is cut off from the fold And there are no cattle in the stalls,

Beloved, when everything seems to be falling apart, you are faced with a choice of how to respond. You can choose to complain, or embrace bitterness or resentment. You can choose to indulge in jealousy, or seek to lay blame for the misfortunes at hand. Or you can make a better choice.

When troubles come – as they always do, choose instead to stand fast in gratitude. For in gratitude is found life – even in the midst of death and destruction. And that is a powerful weapon. So even in the darkest hour, choose to find something to be grateful for. For I AM a good and kind Father, and I AM faithful to My children. So stay firmly rooted in gratitude and embrace Me. I AM Good to My Word

Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not tarry.

Beloved, resist the urge to be frustrated when promises seem to be delayed, for you know that I AM good to My word and I will bring all that I have promised to pass. I watch over My word to perform it.

So allow such moments of seeming holdup to stretch your faith, and yield to My growing process. I do all things with purpose and intention, and I AM using all things for good. So embrace the trials of waiting with joy knowing My hand is at work.

Desire My Glory

Habakkuk 2:14 (GW) But the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory like the water covers the sea.

Beloved, feel the weight of My glory. It is no light, inconsequential thing. My glory changes all it encounters. Nothing can resist its pull. It shift atmospheres and changes hearts. It is life changing.

Desire My glory – a move of My hand. Embrace the change it brings with reckless abandon and wholehearted trust. Watch as My glory spreads as it manifests – My Kingdom come to Earth.

Hold Fast to the Vision

Zechariah 4:10 (TLB) Do not despise this small beginning, for the eyes of the Lord rejoice to see the work begin…

Beloved, hold fast to the vision I have placed in your heart for it will come to pass and is in fact already here and breaking forth. See the tiny sprouts of green? That is new life bursting forth – a small beginning. Beloved, guard and protect these tender shoots and all they represent, for the enemy of your soul would love to steal, kill, or destroy it; but as you nurture and water it, it will flourish and come to its full fruition.

Resist the urge to be frustrated or impatient at the time required in growing. Remember the journey is needed preparation for what lies ahead. Stay the course. Rejoice in each victory and success no matter how small. Expectantly await the fulfillment of My promises for they will not return void. Hold fast to the vision for it will come to pass. The Lord of Breaking Through (Baal-Perazim)

Isaiah 43:19 (VOICE) Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert; Waters will flow where there had been none.

Watch beloved, I AM doing something new. I AM bringing forth the supernatural in abundance – doing things you have never seen or imagined. Come along with Me and be part of what I AM doing. No matter the circumstances or situation, I can and will make a way – like water in the desert – I AM Baal-Perazim (Lord of breaking through).

Beloved, the supernatural is about to become natural for you. Expect it. Anticipate it. Welcome it. My ways may cause discomfort, but yield to My flow and you will see it come to pass. Get ready. Get ready. Get ready! Be listening, stay in that place of active waiting – fully expectant, believing and ready – for I will move suddenly. Though the vision tarries, wait for it. It WILL come to pass. It will not tarry.

“So [Israel] came up to Baal-Perazim, and David smote the [Philistines] there. Then David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand, like the bursting forth of waters; therefore they called the name of that place Baal-Perazim (Lord of breaking through).” 1 Chronicles 14:11

Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV) For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
