Saturated in Me

Matthew 5:48 (VOICE) But you are called to something higher: “Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Beloved, I have called you to be perfect – complete and wanting nothing. This can only be achieved by being saturated in Me. For you cannot pour out the love of God without being filled with the love of God. So abide with Me and be filled that you might share from your overflow.

When you are overflowing with the joy of My Spirit, it is contagious and blesses all those you encounter. So drink deeply from the waters of My presence and be abundantly satisfied that you might share with many more.

Matthew 5:44-48 (VOICE) But I tell you this: love your enemies. Pray for those who torment you and persecute you— in so doing, you become children of your Father in heaven. He, after all, loves each of us—good and evil, kind and cruel. He causes the sun to rise and shine on evil and good alike. He causes the rain to water the fields of the righteous and the fields of the sinner. It is easy to love those who love you—even a tax collector can love those who love him. And it is easy to greet your friends—even outsiders do that! But you are called to something higher: “Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Tarry with Me

Luke 10:42 (TPT) Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”

Beloved, I AM not one to play cruel games. I will not draw you in to suddenly spurn you, nor cause you to trust only to desert or humiliate you. I AM faithful and I AM true. When you choose Me, I stand with you, and I will not turn away nor turn you away.

So tarry with Me. Give Me your undivided attention. Let Me love on you and we can share the deep things of the heart. If you want to be with Me, I will make sure you are able to be. For you are never too much for Me. You’re exactly as I’ve made you – beautiful in every way, and you’ve captivated My heart. So tarry with Me.

Luke 10:38-42 (TPT) As Jesus and the disciples continued on their journey, they came to a village where a woman welcomed Jesus into her home. Her name was Martha and she had a sister named Mary. Mary sat down attentively before the Master, absorbing every revelation he shared. But Martha became exasperated by finishing the numerous household chores in preparation for her guests, so she interrupted Jesus and said, “Lord, don’t you think it’s unfair that my sister left me to do all the work by myself? You should tell her to get up and help me.” The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”

Receive That You Might Give

Deuteronomy 32:2 (VOICE) Let my teaching fall on you like raindrops; let what I say collect like the dew, Like rain sprinkling the grass, like showers on the green plants.

Beloved, receive. Receive that you might share liberally. For those who have been watered, can themselves water others. So receive that you might give as it has been given to you. In doing so, you glorify Me.

So be saturated. Take the time to receive that you might truly be soaked. Just as a plant is nourished by sun and rain so that it grows large and healthy, so you are growing as you’re saturated in My presence. So receive that you might give, and flourish.

Dwelling Place

1 Peter 2:5 (TPT) Come and be his “living stones” who are continually being assembled into a sanctuary for God. For now you serve as holy priests, offering up spiritual sacrifices that he readily accepts through Jesus Christ.

Beloved, present yourself as a living offering. Be part of My holy temple – a dwelling place for My Spirit. Welcome Me, even as I welcome you into My presence – that we might be one. United in thought and purpose.

And from this place of unity, work in unison with Me and act on My behalf. Be prompted by My Spirit – a holy priest, ordained by Me. To effectively and rightly represent Me, you must first know Me and be known by Me. So dwell in My presence, and be indwelt by Me.

Abide in My Love

John 15:9 (TPT) I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts.

Beloved, abide in My love, and allow it to nourish and sustain you. It is endless, for I AM El Olam – the everlasting God, and I AM Olam Zerowa – the everlasting arms. Reach for Me, for I AM willing to hold you close for eternity.

Be filled by My love. Draw from My endless supply that you might have a reserve from which to pour out. For the world is filled with those in desperate need of love – true, unconditional, life-giving love. So be a willing vessel, and saturate yourself in Me. Be intentional to stay full to overflowing that you might be ready to share whenever the opportunity arises. Reflect My heart with joy.

Find Fellowship with Me

2 Corinthians 1:4 (VOICE) He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from His comfort and share it with others in their own struggles.

Beloved, in the midst of pain, I AM still with you. No hardship will scare Me away. I will use each one to grow you and strengthen your character, if you will yield to Me. Draw comfort from Me. You are not alone.

And remember as you endure the sufferings, that I have endured them as well. And when you encounter betrayal, remember I have encountered it as well. And when you’re ridiculed, misjudged, and persecuted – remember, beloved, I have been too. So draw close to Me, and in the midst of trial, find fellowship with Me. Choose the Light and Freedom of Truth

John 8:32 (CSB) “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Beloved, resist the urge to stay in what is familiar simply because it is known. Instead open yourself to Me and My Word that you might know truth and walk in freedom. Because only the truth has the power to set you free, and truth is found in Me.

So come to Me and abide, that you might know truth. My ways are not your ways, and they may stretch your understanding, but it is better to be stretched by truth and live in the light, than to intentionally stay in darkness. So choose the light and freedom of truth.

Be Strengthened in Me

Psalm 91:1 (TPT) When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.

Beloved, I AM ever with you – in every moment and any circumstance, I AM YHVH Shammah (the Lord is present). What can touch you as you hide under My wing? What harm can come when you are in My care? Indeed, rest in Me – the Maker of heaven and earth, for I AM God.

So rest, enthroned with Me and under My covering. Take your place of authority and influence even as you dwell with Me. Reflect Me. Hide in Me. Be strengthened in Me, for I AM El Shaddai – the all-sufficient One, find what you need in Me. I AM good and I AM able, so trust your care to Me. Hide in My strength, and draw your strength from Me.  Continue reading “Be Strengthened in Me”

Abide in My Word

John 8:31 (VOICE) If you hear My voice and abide in My word, you are truly My disciples;

Beloved, will you take the time to listen? Will you take time to abide? My Word is sustenance for your soul, so refuse to be malnourished and instead feast on that which is truly good.

If you want to share about Me, you must first know Me. And knowing Me happens by feasting on My Word. So abide in My Word – chewing, meditating – and hear Me speak to you that you might know Me intimately, for that is where true freedom is found.

Dwell in Safety with Me

Psalm 18:19 (TPT) His love broke open the way and he brought me into a beautiful broad place. He rescued me—because his delight is in me!

Beloved, even on your darkest day, I still delight in you. My love for you is unchanging. I do not grow tired of whatever hardship or the pain you are experiencing, but rather I patiently and steadfastly walk by your side until the morning comes.

So let My love expand a place of joy and beauty and truth for you to rest. And take My hand and let Me rescue you from the one who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. He is no match for Me. So dwell, beloved, in safety with Me.  Continue reading “Dwell in Safety with Me”
