Cheerfully Expectant

Romans 12:11-13 (MSG) Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.

Be expectant. I long to move through My children, but few are truly willing to step out in faith or to live a life that makes them vessels I can work through to operate in My supernatural. In the same way you can’t give a young child a knife for fear they will damage themselves, too many of My children lack the maturity needed to operate in acts of the supernatural. I will not give them anything that I know will cause them to stumble or will harm them.

Continue to make choices and live in such a way that prepares you for what I have in store for you, beloved. Stay in My word. Set aside the cares of this world. Don’t get caught up with the drama of man. I AM all you need. Walk in humility. Extend much grace to others. Always look for the good. Always assume positive intent. Seek to bring unity and love. Look for ways to promote others above yourself, for you can count on Me to find ways to raise you. You don’t need to look out for your own interests, I have them firmly in mind. Grow and encourage My children. Act with My heart. Be My hands. Love like Me.

Live Boldly for Me

Psalm 37:4 (TPT) Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most.

Beloved, live boldly for Me. Make knowing Me the center of your world. For when you live in such a fashion, your heart rests safely in My hands. And though trials will come, they’ll never block your way or derail you. Endless possibilities await you as you walk in step with Me, for I can achieve much through a joyously yielded vessel.

Expect the unexpected and be ready for the supernatural to be natural. Remember that as you watch for My fingerprints in your life, you’ll see My hand everywhere you look, for I AM a hands-on God, and I love to engage with and blessings My children. So live boldly for Me.

Live from a Place of Expectation

John 14:12 (NET) I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father.

Beloved, live from a place of expectation. You know who I AM, so refuse to marginalize what I’m capable of by expecting little. Allow your faith to expand. Encourage your hope to flourish. Remember that those who wait on Me will not be put to shame.

I AM who I AM, and I AM greater than you can begin to comprehend. You know that I see things differently than you, and I move in unexpected ways, but I always move. I AM good and I AM faithful, so wait on Me.

Expect Me to Bring Increase

1 Kings 18:45-46 (VOICE) The sky became filled with dark monstrous clouds, the wind grew wild, the heavy rain fell, and Ahab traveled quickly in his chariot to Jezreel. The strength of the Eternal filled Elijah. The prophet pulled up his garment around his thighs and sprinted ahead of Ahab the entire way to Jezreel.

Beloved, often when I bring increase it comes swiftly and unexpectedly. Though the vision may seem to tarry, it tarries not, for I will bring it to its fullness in due season. So be prepared to wait patiently but expectantly just to see Me move suddenly.

I AM the Lord of the breakthrough – YHVH Perazim. Watch and wait in hopeful expectation, as you rejoice in what I’ve already done. Testify of My faithfulness, and when breakthrough and increase come – testify some more. Refuse to be silent. Give praise to the One who is worthy. Amen. Wait Expectantly

1 Kings 18:43-44 (VOICE) Elijah (to his servant): Go now, and look in the direction of the sea. Servant (returning to Elijah): I did as you asked, and there is nothing in the direction of the sea. Elijah gave him the same instruction seven times, “Go back, and look in the direction of the sea.” The servant did as Elijah requested each time; and on the seventh time, he told Elijah, “A minuscule cloud, as tiny as the hand of a man, is ascending from the sea.”…

Beloved, wait expectantly – with a heart filled with hope, and watch for me to move. For if I have spoken, will I not act? And if I have promised, will I not fulfill? If you know Me, you know of My faithfulness from generation to generation. I AM always faithful, and I AM always good.

Stir up your faith during your time of waiting, and be intentional to stir up the faith of those around you. Remind yourself of all I have already done, and consider all I have said I will do. Rest in the assurance of My character. And wait expectantly and with joy, knowing that the wait only serves to sweeten the inevitable fulfillment of My promises. Continue reading “Wait Expectantly”

Expectant Heart

2 Kings 4:6 (VOICE) Soon all of the containers were filled. Woman: Bring me another container. Son: There aren’t any left. It was then that the oil ran out.

Beloved, trust My abundant provision. For I AM fully able. I can creatively multiply – like the pot of oil or the loaves and the fishes. I can expand something’s use to keep it from needing to be replaced – like shoes of the Israelites that never wore out.

I can supernaturally provide – like the manna from heaven. I can provide using any number of unusual sources – like the ravens who fed Elijah in the cave. I AM fully able, for I AM Elohim Yakol – God Most Able. So trust in Me with an expectant heart, for I AM faithful.

2 Kings 4:5-7 (VOICE) The widow went away from Elisha and enclosed herself in a room with her sons. One at a time, her sons held a container before her, and she poured. Soon all of the containers were filled. Woman: Bring me another container. Son: There aren’t any left. It was then that the oil ran out. The widow then went back to Elisha, the man of God. Elisha: Now go sell the oil, and pay the creditor what you owe. Then your children won’t be made into slaves, and you and your sons can live on the remaining money.

Expect Blessing

2 Corinthians 6:18 (NASB) “And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty.

Beloved, I AM King of All the Earth, and you are My children. Refuse to expect scraps and leftovers. Resist the urge to feel like you need to plead for handouts or beg for attention. You are seen by Me. You are royal heirs.

Expect blessing. Be open to how it will manifest, but expect it to come. Because you know I AM good. You know I AM faithful. And you know I AM over all. Walk with Me in victory. No shame dwells here, only glory. So lift your head, take My hand, and be who you’ve been created to be.

Receive the Pure Revelation

Colossians 1:9-12 (MSG) …we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works…

Beloved, attune yourself to Me, and hear the voice of heaven. Press in for My sweet voice, and settle for no substitute. Receive My divine wisdom, and then open your mouth and release it in the earth.

Be a funnel – a yielded vessel – for Me to pour through as I deposit My revelation and watch as it pours through. Listen for the sound. Listen for My voice. Receive the pure revelation from My throne. Then reflect Me well – do so accurately, that others might know Me too.  Continue reading “Receive the Pure Revelation”
