Relentlessly Pursue Me

Ruth 1:16 (NIV) But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

Beloved, choose Me. Refuse to settle for any substitute. Relentlessly pursue Me. Make Me your obsession. For those who are steadfast to Me will not be put to shame. Rather My glory shines through them – blatantly apparent in their lives, a beacon to those around them – calling them to Me.

So be unapologetic in your pursuit – persisting through trials and would-be distractions. Time and again choose Me above everything because you know that I AM worthy. I AM faithful. And I love you.

No Greater Blessing

Proverbs 3:34-35 (VOICE) God treats the arrogant as they treat others, mocking the mockers, scorning the scornful, but He pours out His grace on the humble. In the end, the wise will receive honor, but fools will face humiliation.

Beloved, I will not be mocked. As a man sows so he shall reap. So sow in humility, love, and wisdom; and reap an abundance of godly favor. There is no greater blessing, nor more peaceful way to live.

As you seek Me and My ways, I allow Myself to be found. As you ask for wisdom, I give it; for I AM Gelah Raz – the Revealer of Mysteries, and I love to share fellowship with My children.

Proverbs 3:27-35 (VOICE) Do not withhold what is good from those who deserve it; if it is within your power to give it, do it. Do not send your neighbor away, saying, “Get back with me tomorrow. I can give it to you then,” when what he needs is already in your hand. Make no plans that could result in injury to your neighbor; after all, he should be more secure because he lives near you. Avoid fighting with anyone without good reason, especially when no one has hurt you; you have nothing to fight about. Do not envy someone who profits at the expense of others or copy any of his tyrannical ways, For crooked people are detestable to the Eternal, but those with integrity receive His counsel. His curse lingers over the wicked and their families, but He forever favors residence of those who do what is right. God treats the arrogant as they treat others, mocking the mockers, scorning the scornful, but He pours out His grace on the humble. In the end, the wise will receive honor, but fools will face humiliation.

Choose the Better Part

Luke 10:42 (TPT) Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet…

Beloved, dwell with Me. For to taste the sweet nectar of intimacy requires first partaking in the fruit. Make our time together a priority. Even if all you have available are stolen moments – find them. In doing so, you demonstrate your priorities. Refuse to let the busyness of life keep you away, for there will always be something or someone calling for your time.

Choose the better part: time with Me. For in My presence you find necessary refreshing for your soul. Indeed My love will look forward to you, and that joy then brings you strength. Indeed time with Me is vital to your well-being, so make it a priority. I AM calling, beloved. Come and dwell with Me.

Luke 10:38-42 (TPT) As Jesus and the disciples continued on their journey, they came to a village where a woman welcomed Jesus into her home. Her name was Martha and she had a sister named Mary. Mary sat down attentively before the Master, absorbing every revelation he shared. But Martha became exasperated by finishing the numerous household chores in preparation for her guests, so she interrupted Jesus and said, “Lord, don’t you think it’s unfair that my sister left me to do all the work by myself? You should tell her to get up and help me.” The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important? Mary has discovered the one thing most important by choosing to sit at my feet. She is undistracted, and I won’t take this privilege from her.”

Currency of Time

Luke 10:41 (TPT) The Lord answered her, “Martha, my beloved Martha. Why are you upset and troubled, pulled away by all these many distractions? Are they really that important?

Beloved, pause to ponder what keeps you from Me. Are they things that are truly important? And if not, what need or desire are they filling? Is it one I can fulfill? There is no shame in having activities in your life, for I AM with you even as you “go and do”; however, it’s easy to be drawn away from the things that truly matter by fruitless, time-killing activities, or things of high urgency, but low importance.

Each moment of your life is a gift, and only I know the number of your days. So spend your currency of time wisely and intentionally. Moments of silly fun can be beautifully refreshing, and yet if that is the fullness of your life, it’s like dining on cotton candy alone. It lacks in substance and sustenance. So choose wisely, for the days are short, and time “wasted” on Me is never wasted. So press in, beloved, and find your life in Me.

Luke 10:38-42 (TPT) As Jesus and the disciples continued on their journey, they came to a village where a woman welcomed Jesus into her home. Her name was Martha and she had a sister named Mary. Mary sat down attentively before the Master, absorbing every revelation he shared. I AM Your Portion

Psalm 84:7 (TPT) They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion.

Beloved, the more you press in towards Me and pursue Me with relentless intent, the greater your strength will be. For true strength is found in Me, and when you seek Me with your whole heart, I always allow Myself to be found.

So set your mind on Me, and on the things of My Kingdom. Trust that I AM all you need. For I AM your portion, and your inheritance is in Me. Bask in the wealth of that reality, for I AM more than enough. Even the darkest day is as sunrise when you walk hand in hand with Me. Continue reading “I AM Your Portion”

The Fruit You Bear

Psalm 84:5 (TPT) How enriched are they who find their strength in the Lord; within their hearts are the highways of holiness!

Beloved, those who are planted in Me, flourish. For those who fix their attention on Me and refuse to waver will find their strength in Me. Those who seek Me with their whole hearts will find Me, and those who rest in My presence are made whole.

When your desire is for only Me, the world and the things of the world lose their appeal. For what value has a counterfeit paste gem when compared to a genuine precious stone? Choose wisely and choose well, for the quality and quantity of fruit you bear rests in your choice. Continue reading “The Fruit You Bear”

Capture My Heart

Psalm 84:2 (TPT) Deep within me are these lovesick longings, desires and daydreams of living in union with you…

Beloved, I placed within you a desire for relationship with me that cannot be satisfied by any counterfeit. Running from one unfulfilling vice to another will only leave you more frustrated in spirit. That void of “something missing” is a call to deeper relationship with Me.

So press in and pursue Me – pursue and capture My heart, for it is yours for the taking. Like how a daddy playing hide and seek with his child hides behind a door with his jacket intentionally sticking out because he wants to be found, so I want you to find Me. I want you to engage. Be invested in the pursuit. For the relationship will be all the sweeter if you relentlessly pursue, and then get enjoy the victory of your success. Continue reading “Capture My Heart”

Dedicated Desire

Colossians 3:2 (VOICE) Stay focused on what’s above, not on earthly things,

Beloved, be mindful of your focus, for that which you focus on, you make room for. So make room for Me, and for the things of heaven. Refuse to be distracted by the troubles of this world or the counterfeits that would come to steal your gaze.

Refuse to settle for anything less than a full-fledged, wholehearted relationship with Me. Refuse to stop your pursuit of the One who made you, who redeemed you, and who has healed you. For I AM worthy of the pursuit. And just as I have held nothing back in My pursuit of you, so you should reflect that same passion back in your dedicated desire to know Me. Continue reading “Dedicated Desire”

Come In

Revelation 4:1 (TLB) Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before, which sounded like a mighty trumpet blast, spoke to me and said, “Come up here…

Beloved, come in and come up higher – you are welcome here. I’m beckoning you in – the heavenly realm awaits. Close your eyes and open your heart. Feel My presence and the rush of life around you. I AM moving – I AM at work. Come and see, beloved. Come and see.

Welcome to My throne room. Be refreshed in the crystal waters as you burn with fiery passion – all to My glory. My presence is thick here. Feel Me. Be present with Me. Step in, beloved. Come in and come up higher – you are welcome here.

Step Up and Pray

Psalm 122:6 (VOICE) Ask heaven to grant peace to Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper.

Beloved, as you pray, be intentional to pray beyond your own personal needs and desires. I AM well aware of the things that concern you – likely even more so than you are yourself. My desire is to see you choosing to look beyond yourself and your own sphere.

Choose to align your heart with Mine. Step up and pray for the things on My heart – things you will know about as you take time to know Me. Seek My heart, and listen as I share it. Then allow what touches My heart to move yours as well, and respond to it with prayer.
