Psalm 84:3 (TPT) O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God, even the sparrows and swallows are welcome to build a nest among your altars for the birds to raise their young.
Beloved, nothing is beneath My notice, and no one is beyond My view. My eye is on the sparrow, and I see each petal of the lilies of the field. The small and seemingly insignificant have all been created and placed by My design and for My good purpose, and each are important to Me. Just as you are important to Me.
Resist the urge to believe that you are unworthy of My attention. For that is a lie from the father of lies, who seeks to separate you from your Source of life. Refuse to be led astray, and rather be rooted in hope that I AM who I say I AM, and that My character and love for you are steadfast. For I AM and they are. Be at peace, beloved, for I AM with you.
Psalm 84:1-12 (TPT) God of Heaven’s Armies, you find so much beauty in your people! They’re like lovely sanctuaries of your presence. Deep within me are these lovesick longings, desires and daydreams of living in union with you. When I’m near you my heart and my soul will sing and worship with my joyful songs of you, my true source and spring of life! O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God, even the sparrows and swallows are welcome to build a nest among your altars for the birds to raise their young. What pleasure fills those who live every day in your temple, enjoying you as they worship in your presence! Pause in his presence How enriched are they who find their strength in the Lord; within their hearts are the highways of holiness! Even when their paths wind through the dark valley of tears, they dig deep to find a pleasant pool where others find only pain. He gives to them a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring. They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion. Hear my cry, O God of Heaven’s Armies! God of Jacob, listen to my loving prayer. Pause in his presence God, your wrap-around presence is our defense. In your kindness look upon the faces of your anointed ones. For just one day of intimacy with you is like a thousand days of joy rolled into one! I’d rather stand at the threshold in front of the Gate Beautiful, ready to go in and worship my God, than to live my life without you in the most beautiful palace of the wicked. For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all! O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, what euphoria fills those who forever trust in you!
2 Kings 4:6 (VOICE) Soon all of the containers were filled. Woman: Bring me another container. Son: There aren’t any left. It was then that the oil ran out.
Beloved, trust My abundant provision. For I AM fully able. I can creatively multiply – like the pot of oil or the loaves and the fishes. I can expand something’s use to keep it from needing to be replaced – like shoes of the Israelites that never wore out.
I can supernaturally provide – like the manna from heaven. I can provide using any number of unusual sources – like the ravens who fed Elijah in the cave. I AM fully able, for I AM Elohim Yakol – God Most Able. So trust in Me with an expectant heart, for I AM faithful.
2 Kings 4:5-7 (VOICE) The widow went away from Elisha and enclosed herself in a room with her sons. One at a time, her sons held a container before her, and she poured. Soon all of the containers were filled. Woman: Bring me another container. Son: There aren’t any left. It was then that the oil ran out. The widow then went back to Elisha, the man of God. Elisha: Now go sell the oil, and pay the creditor what you owe. Then your children won’t be made into slaves, and you and your sons can live on the remaining money.
John 4:13-14 (VOICE) Jesus: Drink this water, and your thirst is quenched only for a moment. You must return to this well again and again. I offer water that will become a wellspring within you that gives life throughout eternity. You will never be thirsty again.
Beloved, I AM the sustainer. I bring life, and I bring it in abundance. Only I can truly satisfy. So look to Me, and put your hope in Me. For I AM loving, and I AM good. I AM worthy of your trust.
Rely on Me. Be sustained by Me. Resist the urge to look to substitutes, for they will not quench your thirst nor sate your hunger – only I AM able. So put your whole heart in My hands, and trust Me to be all you need.
Isaiah 54:2-3 (VOICE) Enlarge your house. You are going to need a bigger place; don’t underestimate the amount of room that you’ll need. So build, build, build. You will increase in every direction to fill the world. Your offspring will take over the nations; Your people will revitalize long-abandoned towns.
Beloved, I have more for you than you can begin to imagine. Keep your gaze fixed on Me and pursue Me with determined intent, then make ready for increase and pour out from your overflow.
I AM increasing you to the left and the right. I AM blessing you with more than enough because I know you are generous and will share liberally. Be intentional to remember that I AM the giver, and I give in abundance. Refuse to align with lack. Trust Me, and trust My hand as I move in and through you.
Psalm 127:2 (VOICE) God provides for His own. It is pointless to get up early, work hard, and go to bed late Anxiously laboring for food to eat; for God provides for those He loves, even while they are sleeping.
Beloved, cease any urge to strive, and rest in My love. I AM a good Father, and I love My children. Resting and yielding in Me and to My plans is the path for blessing. I provide for My own, even in ways that seem unexpected and in moments it may even feel “undeserved.”
My Kingdom is based on sowing and reaping, so resist the urge to be enslaved to the world’s system where you enslave and prostitute yourself to receive payback. Instead give of yourself, and do so freely and with joy where I direct you. As you sow, you shall surely reap.
Psalm 23:5 (VOICE) You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil, filling my cup again and again with Your grace.
Beloved, regardless of the time or the place, I take care of My children. I AM YHVH Jireh – the Lord your Provider, and I will supply your needs. Trust yourself to Me. Let me soothe and refresh you in My presence. Let Me overflow you with My life-changing love.
Release the burden of looking out for your own interests, and simply yield to Me. If I appear to withhold, it’s never because I’m angry or punishing you. I act in your best interest. Work with Me instead of struggling against My lead when you don’t understand. You understanding is not necessary, but you yielding is. So rest in Me, beloved, and let Me truly be your God. Matthew 6:11 (KJV) Give us this day our daily bread.
Beloved, look to Me for your provision. Resist the urge to trust in man – who is as changeable as a summer breeze, or even to trust in your own human efforts – which are fallible at best. Instead look to Me, and know I AM fully able to take care of My children.
I AM YHVH Jireh, the Lord your Provider, and I AM creative in My provision. I multiplied the loaves and fishes, and I caused the Israelites’ shoes to never wear out as they wandered the desert. Look to Me, and trust Me to meet every need in its time. Continue reading “YHVH Jireh (the Lord your Provider)”
Galatians 6:7 (VOICE) Make no mistake: God can’t be mocked. What you give is what you get. What you sow, you harvest.
Beloved, trust the process. You have been faithful to give, so you will be faithful to receive. Resist the urge to be impatient in the pause in between the two. For a cheerful giver gives simply for the joy of giving, not as a manipulation to receive. So keep your heart pure and give from a place of loving obedience, and refuse to let anything steal that joy.
I AM faithful and I AM good. What I have said, I will do. I cannot operate in a manner opposed to My character. So quietly wait in steadfast assurance knowing that I will multiply back to you your harvest. I AM fertile soil, so when you sow in Me you will reap abundantly.
Matthew 6:24 (MSG) You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.
Beloved, choose Me. Throughout history, My heartcry remains the same: that I would be your God and you would be My people. Refuse to give place to any idol, or to hold anything in greater reverence than Me. I will not be content to share your adoration, for I AM worthy of your singleminded devotion.
Only I bring true peace. Only I bring true contentment. Only I bring true security. Refuse the temptation to look to your own provision to offer those things remembering that even your provision comes from Me. It cannot love you nor fulfill your heart’s desires anymore than the idols made of wood and clay. Only I AM able to bring true fulfillment. Look to Me and refuse to look away. I AM all you need.
1 Timothy 5:18 (AMP) For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain [to keep it from eating],” and, “The worker is worthy of his wages [he deserves fair compensation].”
Beloved, refuse the temptation to operate in a poverty mindset – constantly trying to get something for nothing. Surely you remember that the silver and gold are Mine? When you’re living a lifestyle submitted to Me, you can rest in the knowledge that that which I desire you to have, I will provide for.
So rather than trying to cheapen the value I have placed on someone’s work or by trying to rob them of their wages, be excited about the opportunity to sow into their lives, trusting that fertile soil will bear fruit and rejoicing that you get to have some small part in it.
Be wise with whatever I’ve entrusted you with – be it great or small. This means being obedient to use it in the ways I direct you, not working so hard to stretch it that you’re actively cheating others (whether intentionally or not). Remember I love a cheerful giver, I love a generous heart. Refuse to have that stolen by a fear of lack, or be tempted into greed or envy – constantly desiring that which I have not provided for.
Trust Me. Trust that I have reasons for what I’ve provided for and what I have not, and that those reasons have nothing to do with whether I love you or not – for that is never in question. Be thankful for what you have and find contentment there.
Rest in Me and look to Me. Trust Me to provide for your needs. Refusing to accuse Me of shortchanging you, regardless of circumstance. I AM faithful, and I love you – always. Stand fast in your belief that I AM good.
