Time for Joy

Ecclesiastes 3:4 (NLT) A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance.

Beloved, there is a time for every season under heaven, and now is the time for joy. So let your heart be full with gladness, and may laughter ring from your lips. For the time of joy is upon us, and it’s time to enter in.

Embrace My joy with triumph, for the time of testing has been long. But victory is upon us, so rejoice, beloved, in song. Give praise because you’re able, and praise because it’s due. Allow the joy to overflow because it is here to refresh you.

Expect the Rain

Ecclesiastes 11:3 (NET) If the clouds are full of rain, they will empty themselves on the earth, and whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, the tree will lie wherever it falls.

Beloved, expect the rain, and stay in that place of hopeful expectations as you wait on Me to move. For you know I AM faithful, and you know I AM good. I bring forth bounty in season and My rain on all. Abundance is coming, the drought is near its end.

Rejoice at the knowledge it’s coming. Rejoice as the mist starts to fall. Receive the little and make room for the more, for when I pour out, I do not hold back. So receive, beloved. Rejoice and receive.

Take My Hand and Come Explore

Ecclesiastes 7:24-25 (VOICE) True wisdom remains elusive; its profound mysteries are remote. Who can discover it? So I turned and dedicated my heart to knowing more, to digging deeper, to searching harder for wisdom and the reasons things are as they are…

Beloved, take My hand and come explore. There are mysteries to ferret out and wild depths to plumb. The journey is worth the effort – so much to investigate and learn. Allow the draw of new adventures to beckon you in.

Resist the urge to assuage the yearnings within by placating yourself with worldly entertainments. Nothing is a substitute for divine revelation and the wisdom that is its companion. So hunger and thirst for more of Me, beloved. My fathomless depths are ours to explore.

Working in Unity

Ecclesiastes 4:9 (VOICE) Two are better than one because a good return comes when two work together.

Beloved, lay aside any pride that insists you “do it on your own,” and instead be open to partnering with those I connect you with. Then see the increased results of your labor.

It is not weakness to join with others, nor is it an indication that you are lacking. I have created each of you with specific strengths and giftings, so play to each other’s strengths. Make room for each other’s giftings. Then celebrate the outcome working in unity brings.

Hear and Follow Me

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (GW) After having heard it all, this is the conclusion: Fear God, and keep his commands…

Beloved, when all is said and done, obey and revere Me. You can consider the wisdom of man, and you can spend time deciding what you think is right, but ultimately not one person on earth has the understanding and insight I do with heavenly, eternal perspective.

This is a matter of trust. Whose judgment are you going to trust and act on? Your own? With your limited view and biases, your judgment is imperfect, beloved. Wisdom is found in a multitude of counselors because you learn to listen for My breath among the words.

Beloved, My sheep know My voice and another’s they will not follow. Are you Mine? Then demonstrate that in your heart and actions. Hear and follow Me.

Walk with Me in Righteousness

Ecclesiastes 12:14 (GW) God will certainly judge everything that is done. This includes every secret thing, whether it is good or bad.

Beloved, I’m not hovering, waiting for you to mess up so I can smite you. Nor am I eagerly awaiting seeing you stumble or fall. But the fact remains, I see all and I AM righteous. I AM the righteous judge and I don’t grade on a curve. Yet I AM slow to anger and rich in mercy.

What this means is don’t simply do your best – deciding for yourself what seems right or wrong, but rather know My Word that you might understand what is expected and the measure by which all is judged. Then look to Me to help you walk out My will.

I AM a good father. I AM patient and kind. Let Me help and let My Spirit teach you. And in the moments you fall short, don’t delay in repenting and realigning with My heart. Put your hand in Mine and walk with Me in righteousness.

Walk in Blessing

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP) He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.

Beloved, I have placed a longing in your heart for more. A longing that can only be fulfilled by walking out the call that I have ordained for you. You sense this. Your spirit feels the call. And now it’s time to step forward.

For everything there is a season – a time to plan and a time to execute those plans. Now is the time to step forward into your divine destiny. I have prepared you and made the way clear. So walk on, beloved. The time has come to begin to see the fullness of all I have in store. Walk in blessing.

Intertwined Strength

Ecclesiastes 4:11 (AMP) Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone?

Beloved, I have created you for multiplication. Though yes, you can accomplish much alone, I have made you for connection, and for the power that is found there. Resist the urge to to avoid it, it is worth the effort.

It is worth the frustration in moments of misunderstanding, and worth the character building that occurs when you must operate in grace and humility to create unity. Though it takes work – without a doubt, it truly is worth it.

So resist the temptation to protect your heart by holding others away, and choose instead to love as if you’ll never get hurt. Trust your heart to me, and choose to walk in love and experience intertwined strength. Continue reading “Intertwined Strength”

Unstoppable Force

Ecclesiastes 4:12 (VOICE) And if one person is vulnerable to attack, two can drive the attacker away. As the saying goes, “A rope made of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Beloved, cherish My divine connections for you. Just as trees lock their roots together to strengthen one another against the storms that inevitably come, so you should interweave your life with those I have connected you with that you might strengthen one another’s faith, building one another up that you might withstand the trials that come your way.

Hold fast to each other with Me at the center. Bear with one another in love, and extend grace to each other in weaknesses. Strengthen and encourage one another. Refuse to mandate personal agendas, instead choosing to align with Me and in doing so aligning with each other in perfect harmony. Be an unstoppable force – a beautiful reflection of Me. Divine Connections

Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.

Beloved, I have not called you to be alone in your walk. Look around you and see the divine connections I’ve placed in your life – to encourage and exhort, comfort and inspire – you need one another. Be My love to one another and build each other up in Me.

Never replace Me with the people I put around you, but recognize My voice when it is carried on their lips. There is wisdom in a multitude of counsel. Allow iron to sharpen iron, beloved. Know that I desire you to be in fellowship with each other as with Me, I AM in your midst.
