Expect the Rain

Ecclesiastes 11:3 (NET) If the clouds are full of rain, they will empty themselves on the earth, and whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, the tree will lie wherever it falls.

Beloved, expect the rain, and stay in that place of hopeful expectations as you wait on Me to move. For you know I AM faithful, and you know I AM good. I bring forth bounty in season and My rain on all. Abundance is coming, the drought is near its end.

Rejoice at the knowledge it’s coming. Rejoice as the mist starts to fall. Receive the little and make room for the more, for when I pour out, I do not hold back. So receive, beloved. Rejoice and receive.

Faithful without Fail

Psalm 121:5-8 (TPT) Jehovah himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence. He’s protecting you from all danger both day and night. He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continually watches over you. You will be guarded by God himself. You will be safe when you leave your home and safely you will return. He will protect you now, and he’ll protect you forevermore!

Beloved, shalom is the peace I give you. It is the peace that wars against chaos. That kind of peace isn’t disturbed by troubles, it pushes back against them. It doesn’t fight in a way that escalates, but rather it diffuses by changing the very atmosphere.

Just as a gentle word turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1), so the steadfast nature of shalom – the peace that comes from Me, diffuses chaos and calms the storm. So hold fast to your rightful inheritance. Refuse to give it up regardless of circumstance, knowing I AM faithful without fail. Continue reading “Faithful without Fail”

I AM Good to My Word

Psalm 91:7-8 (AMP) A thousand may fall at your side And ten thousand at your right hand, But danger will not come near you. You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your eyes And witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High].

Beloved, My right hand upholds you. Watch as I walk you through the days of trial. For when you surrender yourself into My care, surely you will see My hand at work. Would a loving earthly parent abandon their beloved child to a tempest? Or leave them to burn within a fiery blaze? Not if it was within their power to stop it!

Then surely you must know that I would do at least the same. For if those earthly parent are made in My image and reflecting My likeness, do you think I would do less than they would? Absolutely not. I AM a good Father. I love My children fiercely. I have promised never to leave or forsake you, and I AM good to My word. So rest and trust in Me. Continue reading “I AM Good to My Word”

Embrace Small Beginnings

1 Kings 18:44 (VOICE) The servant did as Elijah requested each time; and on the seventh time, he told Elijah, “A minuscule cloud, as tiny as the hand of a man, is ascending from the sea.” Elijah: Go quickly, and give a message to Ahab for me: “Prepare your chariot, and leave quickly before the rain gets torrential and keeps you from traveling.”

Beloved, when you find yourself in the day of a small beginning, resist the urge to take it lightly or view it as small or unimportant. For I bring increase in its season, so the wise will be intentional to prepare.

Be intentional to yield to Me not just as you wait for a promise to manifest, but also once it has begun. For I see the beginning and the end, so trust Me to lead you rightly. So embrace your small beginning, even as you make ready for the more. Continue reading “Embrace Small Beginnings”

Wait Expectantly

1 Kings 18:43-44 (VOICE) Elijah (to his servant): Go now, and look in the direction of the sea. Servant (returning to Elijah): I did as you asked, and there is nothing in the direction of the sea. Elijah gave him the same instruction seven times, “Go back, and look in the direction of the sea.” The servant did as Elijah requested each time; and on the seventh time, he told Elijah, “A minuscule cloud, as tiny as the hand of a man, is ascending from the sea.”…

Beloved, wait expectantly – with a heart filled with hope, and watch for me to move. For if I have spoken, will I not act? And if I have promised, will I not fulfill? If you know Me, you know of My faithfulness from generation to generation. I AM always faithful, and I AM always good.

Stir up your faith during your time of waiting, and be intentional to stir up the faith of those around you. Remind yourself of all I have already done, and consider all I have said I will do. Rest in the assurance of My character. And wait expectantly and with joy, knowing that the wait only serves to sweeten the inevitable fulfillment of My promises. Continue reading “Wait Expectantly”

Walk with Confidence

Genesis 9:13 (VOICE) I will hang a rainbow among the clouds. It will serve as a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

Beloved, I have chosen you, and made a covenant with you. My Word is as bedrock – stable and steadfast, so trust Me to be your firm foundation. Keep My promises ever in your mind’s eye, for if I have said it, it is as good as done.

Walk with confidence, as one who trusts the One in whom they’ve put their hope. For I AM faithful and true. My promises are yes and amen. And I AM good. Therefore you know you walk securely.

Rest in My Love

Genesis 28:15 (NIV) I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.

Beloved, you are never beyond My sight. For My eye is ever upon you, and My heart is ever toward you. You are My beloved one, and My promises for you are steadfast just as My heart is ever true. Rest in My love.

I know where I AM leading you. Have faith in My plans. Trust that each step is a necessary part of the greater plan I AM accomplishing in and through you. Be at peace as you rest in My love knowing My promises are yes and amen. Beloved, if I have said it, it is as good as done. Be at peace and trust in Me.

Burst Forth into Your Open Place

Psalm 18:19 (TPT) His love broke open the way and he brought me into a beautiful broad place. He rescued me—because his delight is in me!

Beloved, healing and restoration are found in Me. Allow My love to break the yokes of bondage, and be set free. Like a calf released from the stall and let out to pasture, burst forth into your open place (Malachi 4:2).

For your land of promise is before you, and I AM at your back. Spread wide your arms, beloved, and receive. For I delight in you. You are the apple of My eye. And My promises to you are steadfast and true. Continue reading “Burst Forth into Your Open Place”

Wait and Trust

Psalm 126:5 (VOICE) Those who walk the fields to sow, casting their seed in tears, will one day tread those same long rows, amazed by what’s appeared.

Beloved, though the days and nights of trial feel endless, stand fast and cling to hope. For in a time not too far off, you will stand amazed by the beauty that lies where the ashes once were. For I bring forth life from death, just as a seed – dry and dormant – is sown and brings forth fruit.

So wait and trust. Resist the urge to battle and rage, and instead look to Me in the midst of your storm. Find My gaze and hold it. Just as keeping your eyes on the horizon calms sea sickness, so holding My gaze will steady you in the midst of turmoil. So cling to Me and the hope of who I AM. Trust and wait, beloved. Wait and trust.  Continue reading “Wait and Trust”

Dare to Believe

Genesis 15:5-6 (VOICE) God took him outside to show him something. Eternal One: Look up at the stars, and try to count them all if you can. There are too many to count! Your descendants will be as many as the stars. Abram believed God and trusted in His promises, so God counted it to his favor as righteousness.

Beloved, trust the One who has promised because I AM faithful. My promises are God-sized and require faith. You may ask yourself if you are crazy to believe, but I AM the God of the impossible because with Me all things are possible.

So dare to believe what I say. And even when the waiting seems long or the fulfillment doesn’t look like you expected, trust with an open heart. I see things differently than you do, for My perspective is eternal. Shift your perspective to Mine rather than trying to draw Me to yours. Dare to believe.
