Relentlessly Pursue Me

Ruth 1:16 (NIV) But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

Beloved, choose Me. Refuse to settle for any substitute. Relentlessly pursue Me. Make Me your obsession. For those who are steadfast to Me will not be put to shame. Rather My glory shines through them – blatantly apparent in their lives, a beacon to those around them – calling them to Me.

So be unapologetic in your pursuit – persisting through trials and would-be distractions. Time and again choose Me above everything because you know that I AM worthy. I AM faithful. And I love you.

Elohim Aman (Faithful God)

Deuteronomy 7:9 (NLT) Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

Beloved, from generation to generation, I remain the same. Steadfast. Faithful. Good. For I AM Elohim Aman – the faithful God, and I do not shift or change. I AM ever true – your firm foundation, the One on which you may rely. So look to Me, and trust My heart because My love for you is endless.

I AM mindful of each and every promise I have ever made. Not one is forgotten or stays unfulfilled. I watch over each one, and in My perfect timing, bring each to pass. So rest in Me through every season, knowing I AM safe. For if you know Me and know My heart, you know that fully trustworthy because I AM faithful.

Faithful to Restore

Psalm 86:4 (TPT) Restore joy to your loving servant once again, for all I am is yours, O God.

Beloved, receive My joy as you rest in My presence. Be refreshed in your time with Me. For all that I AM is holy and true, and I pour My love out over you. Be saturated and satisfied, and be restored.

I AM the God who makes all things new. And I AM the God who redeems. Nothing is too hard for Me, and I AM all you need. So rest in Me and release your cares – cast them all on Me. For I AM faithful, beloved, forevermore. And faithful I’ll always be.

Psalm 86:1-4 (TPT) Lord, bend down to listen to my prayer. I am in deep trouble. I’m broken and humbled, and I desperately need your help. Guard my life, for I’m your faithful friend, your loyal servant for life. I turn to you in faith, my God, my hero; come and rescue me! Lord God, hear my constant cry for help; show me your favor and bring me to your fountain of grace! Restore joy to your loving servant once again, for all I am is yours, O God.

I Don’t Desert You

Psalm 86:1 (TPT) Lord, bend down to listen to my prayer. I am in deep trouble. I’m broken and humbled, and I desperately need your help.

Beloved, regardless of the situation you find yourself in, I AM with you and I AM listening. Even when you’re in a crisis of your own making, I don’t turn my back to punish or desert you. I love you. And even when you walk through fire I AM with you – in fact, especially then.

I’m no fair weather friend. I’m not a “sometimes” god. I AM steadfast and I AM able. And whether the trap you find yourself in is one of your own making or one set to ensnare you, I AM fully able to move on your behalf, if you but yield to Me.

Hopelessly Devoted to You {Moments with God}

{I laugh to myself as I repurpose the name of an old song as a loving refrain to God} Hopelessly devoted to You… hopelessly devoted to You. I’m hopelessly devoted to You.

{After pausing to look up the literal meaning to hopeless and finding one of Merriam-Webster’s definitions was indeed accurate with “not susceptible to remedy or cure.”} So true, Father. Nothing can cause my heart towards you to change. In hardships, I draw nearer. In prosperous times, I praise louder. In confusion, I cling tighter. My certainty is steadfast in both that You are real, and that You are a rewarder of those who seek you wholeheartedly. So yes, without question I am happily and wholeheartedly hopelessly devoted to You. May my life be a testament to Your goodness and may it bring You glory.

Hebrews 11:6 (TPT) And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.

Pour Forth Praise

Psalm 40:3 (NET) He gave me reason to sing a new song, praising our God. May many see what God has done, so that they might swear allegiance to him and trust in the LORD!

Beloved, sing a new song, for I AM Adonai Elohim – the Lord God most high, and I AM faithful and worthy of praise. Those who trust in Me are not put to shame, for they rest in the shadow of My wings, and in My presence they find fullness of joy.

Look, beloved, and see all I have done. I AM forever moving in your life and on your behalf – see My hand at work. And in the dark times and in the silence, listen for My still small voice because in both good times and in bad, I AM with you. So rejoice and pour forth praise.

Steadfast and Faithful {Moments with God}

{With a heart full of gratitude} God, I don’t know what I would do without You, and am grateful I will never have to learn. You are steadfast and faithful, my rock and my foundation. You’re the touchstone I can always rely on, so I know that no matter what comes, I can turn and cling to You. I can seek You for wisdom, and ask Your Spirit for truth. I know You’ll always lead me, and so I yield to You. I need never fear uncertain times, for You’re never caught unaware. So I can trust in You faithfully, and leave myself in Your care. You comfort and console me when times of trial come, and You bolster and You strengthen me, so I can forever keep moving on. I’m so grateful that You love me, and that You’ve chosen me. I’m blessed to be Your beloved, and in that I find my identity.

Psalm 18:2 (TPT) You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet, like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress, my mountain of hiding, my pathway of escape, my tower of rescue where none can reach me. My secret strength and shield around me, you are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause.

Faithful without Fail

Psalm 121:5-8 (TPT) Jehovah himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence. He’s protecting you from all danger both day and night. He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continually watches over you. You will be guarded by God himself. You will be safe when you leave your home and safely you will return. He will protect you now, and he’ll protect you forevermore!

Beloved, shalom is the peace I give you. It is the peace that wars against chaos. That kind of peace isn’t disturbed by troubles, it pushes back against them. It doesn’t fight in a way that escalates, but rather it diffuses by changing the very atmosphere.

Just as a gentle word turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1), so the steadfast nature of shalom – the peace that comes from Me, diffuses chaos and calms the storm. So hold fast to your rightful inheritance. Refuse to give it up regardless of circumstance, knowing I AM faithful without fail. Continue reading “Faithful without Fail”

Faithful to Provide a Way Through

Psalm 121:3-4 (TPT) He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall. God is my keeper; he will never forget nor ignore me. He will never slumber nor sleep; he is the Guardian-God for his people, Israel.

Beloved, I never stop watching out for you. I never look away, never take a break. And though I won’t always take you around hardships, I AM faithful to provide a way through. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego who weren’t kept from the fiery furnace, but they were given a way through (Daniel 3), so I will be faithful to lead you.

Put your hand in Mine, and follow My lead. I AM your port in any storm, your rest in the midst of turmoil, your grace in the midst of chaos. I AM faithful and I AM steadfast, beloved, so put your hope in Me. Continue reading “Faithful to Provide a Way Through”

Be in Agreement

1 Kings 18:41-42 (VOICE) Elijah (to Ahab): …I hear a heavy rain coming… Elijah journeyed to the peak of Mount Carmel. There he bowed down on the ground and placed his head between his knees.

Beloved, even when the world seems like desert without a cloud in sight, believe Me when I say the rain is coming. One of the greatest spiritual weapons in your arsenal is that of the power of agreement. So with intention, stand in faith for that which I have promised. And with intention, pray for those things to come to pass. And with praise – even with hands raised high, give thanks for the manifestation of that which is still unseen.

I AM faithful, and My promises are yes an amen. So refuse to be double-minded – on the one hand asking for breakthrough and on the other doubting it will come. Be steadfast and sure because you know the character of the God you serve. You know that I AM faithful, so refuse to be moved and be in agreement with My promises to you.
