I AM Unshakable

Hebrews 12:28-29 (VOICE) Therefore, let us all be thankful that we are a part of an unshakable Kingdom and offer to God worship that pleases Him and reflects the awe and reverence we have toward Him, for He is like a fierce fire that consumes everything.

Beloved, I AM unshakable. My Kingdom knows no end. I AM a fierce and mighty warrior – a blazing fire and a roaring lion, shaking all that can be shaken so that what may stand firm will remain.

As you are tested in the fires, you need not be afraid. In the valley of the shadow of death, I AM with you – you have nothing to fear. Join forces with Me. Stay by My side and trust Me, for I AM unshakable. Continue reading “I AM Unshakable”

Cultivate Your Heavenly Rewards

Hebrews 10:34 (TPT) You sympathized with those in prison and when all your belongings were confiscated you accepted that violation with joy; convinced that you possess a treasure growing in heaven that could never be taken from you.

Beloved, have mercy. Extend grace and compassion in every circumstance. For you never know when things will shift, and you yourself will be in need of mercy, grace, and compassion. Therefore, sow liberally from a heart full of generous humility and love.

Keep your heart fixed on the things of heaven. For your treasures in heaven cannot be stolen by human hands, destroyed by natural disaster, or negated by human interference. So love well. Bear much fruit. Sow kindness without restraint. Cultivate your heavenly rewards, for they are the ones which will last.

Anticipate My Goodness

Romans 5:4 (VOICE) When our characters are refined, we learn what it means to hope and anticipate God’s goodness.

Beloved, in times of trial, cling to hope. Stand fast in the knowledge of who I AM. For you know that I AM faithful, and you know that I AM good. Knowing these truths gives you hope both that I will bring you through the hardship, and that I will create beauty from the brokenness it brings.

So anticipate My goodness. Remind yourself of the truth of who I AM – of My character. Refuse to be moved by earthly circumstance, and instead be firmly rooted in unshakable hope. For the One you hope in is faithful. Continue reading “Anticipate My Goodness”

Embrace the Endurance

Romans 5:3 (VOICE) And that’s not all. We also celebrate in seasons of suffering because we know that when we suffer we develop endurance, which shapes our characters.

Beloved, embrace the endurance that trials cultivate. Celebrate the growth to your character that times of hardship inevitably bring. Suffering is unpleasant, but refuse to allow the pain to be wasted. Instead allow it to bring forth beauty in you.

In the same way that uncomfortable pressure and heat cause carbon to become a diamond – something both beautiful and strong, so your times of testing, when embraced, can bring forth a brilliance of character that is worth the pain.  Continue reading “Embrace the Endurance”

Embrace the Wealth of Comfort

2 Corinthians 1:5 (VOICE) For even as His suffering continues to flood over us, through the Anointed we experience the wealth of His comfort just the same.

Beloved, embrace the wealth of comfort I offer. Refuse to stay stuck in pain. Allow Me to guide you through to the other side. There is no shame in grief or in feeling things deeply. Nor is there shame in taking time to pause – in acknowledging your experience. But there comes a moment when it is time to step forward. And just as relearning to walk after a serious injury can be difficult, moving forward after an emotional blow can be equally trying. And yet, you must try. You must carry on.

Resist the urge to wallow when it comes time to step forward. Refuse to give the enemy a toehold. Trust that My strength will sustain you. Trust that My love will uplift you. And trust that I will use all the pain for good purpose; all that was intended to bring devastation, I will use to bring more life. Because I AM the giver of live, and I give it abundantly. Find Fellowship with Me

2 Corinthians 1:4 (VOICE) He consoles us as we endure the pain and hardship of life so that we may draw from His comfort and share it with others in their own struggles.

Beloved, in the midst of pain, I AM still with you. No hardship will scare Me away. I will use each one to grow you and strengthen your character, if you will yield to Me. Draw comfort from Me. You are not alone.

And remember as you endure the sufferings, that I have endured them as well. And when you encounter betrayal, remember I have encountered it as well. And when you’re ridiculed, misjudged, and persecuted – remember, beloved, I have been too. So draw close to Me, and in the midst of trial, find fellowship with Me. Elohei khol-Nechamah (God of all Comfort)

2 Corinthians 1:3 (VOICE) All praise goes to God, Father of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. He is the Father of compassion, the God of all comfort.

Beloved, I AM Elohei khol-Nechamah – God of all Comfort, so trust your heart to Me. I AM keenly aware of the troubles that try you, and I remain by your side – sustaining you – through them all.

So be at peace. Quiet your soul. Trust that the afflictions of this world will pass, but My love remains steadfast and true. Let My love uplift you and carry you as on eagles wings. Let My hand guide you, and let My Spirit comfort you.  Continue reading “Elohei khol-Nechamah (God of all Comfort)”

Believe and Obey

Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Beloved, believe and obey. Mere faith is not enough. Your faith must prompt you to action, and that action must be righteous and pleasing. It must prompt you to obedience. For faith without works is dead. Indeed, it is a useless faith.

And in the same way you know a tree is good by the good fruit it bears, so your faith is proved good by the sweet fruit it produces. And may your motivation for action not be to gain the rewards that come from Me (though they will surely come), but rather from a heart so full of love for Me that you cannot NOT act.

So beloved, let your faith take form, and act in a way that brings joy and pleasure to Me. And may you relentlessly pursue Me that you might accurately know what that looks like. Continue reading “Believe and Obey”

Radiant Joy

Romans 12:12 (AMPC) Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer.

Beloved, rejoice! Find your joy in Me and in the hope of My salvation. Then let that joy overflow in radiant praise – so bright and glorious that the world can’t help but see you shine. Let it infuse your prayers.

Allow that radiant joy to undergird everything in your life. And though in the natural realm it may seem impossible to truly rejoice in the midst of trials and suffering, when your joy is firmly rooted in your hope in Me, your foundation is secure. So again I say, rejoice!

In My Presence is Peace

Isaiah 41:10 (VOICE) So don’t be afraid. I am here, with you; don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, help you. I am here with My right hand to make right and to hold you up.

Beloved, no matter how overwhelming the chaos of the world may feel, know that I AM with you. And I AM YHVH Shalom (the Lord your peace) – the Prince of Peace, so find your rest in Me. For I bring a peace no circumstance can steal, nor any storm shake.

Beloved, in My presence is peace, so hover close to Me. Resist the urge to overthink your circumstance. Instead simply quiet your heart in the middle of wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, and intentionally yield to Me. I AM sovereign and I AM good. Rest in Me.
