I Hear Each Petition

Psalm 91:15-16 (AMP)“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. “With a long life I will satisfy him And I will let him see My salvation.”

Beloved, I hear each petition addressed to Me. I do not ignore even one. You call, I answer. It’s as simple and beautiful as that. However, much like a child who asks for dinner than demands to go to their favorite restaurant, you do not get to control how I answer your request.

Trust that I see things you do not see. Trust that I will work all things for good. Trust that My motivations are loving. Because I do, I AM, and they are. In the same way that the loving parent might choose to feed their child healthier food made from home, or simply to so to save the cost of eating out so they can also provide for the roof over their heads because the parent sees things the child is blissfully unaware of – trust that I see all and am leading you rightly. Be in Agreement

1 Kings 18:41-42 (VOICE) Elijah (to Ahab): …I hear a heavy rain coming… Elijah journeyed to the peak of Mount Carmel. There he bowed down on the ground and placed his head between his knees.

Beloved, even when the world seems like desert without a cloud in sight, believe Me when I say the rain is coming. One of the greatest spiritual weapons in your arsenal is that of the power of agreement. So with intention, stand in faith for that which I have promised. And with intention, pray for those things to come to pass. And with praise – even with hands raised high, give thanks for the manifestation of that which is still unseen.

I AM faithful, and My promises are yes an amen. So refuse to be double-minded – on the one hand asking for breakthrough and on the other doubting it will come. Be steadfast and sure because you know the character of the God you serve. You know that I AM faithful, so refuse to be moved and be in agreement with My promises to you. Step Up and Pray

Psalm 122:6 (VOICE) Ask heaven to grant peace to Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper.

Beloved, as you pray, be intentional to pray beyond your own personal needs and desires. I AM well aware of the things that concern you – likely even more so than you are yourself. My desire is to see you choosing to look beyond yourself and your own sphere.

Choose to align your heart with Mine. Step up and pray for the things on My heart – things you will know about as you take time to know Me. Seek My heart, and listen as I share it. Then allow what touches My heart to move yours as well, and respond to it with prayer.

I AM Always Listening

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV) Pray without ceasing.

Beloved, stay in ongoing dialogue with Me – all day, every day. Lift each need you see before Me as we talk throughout the day. It doesn’t have to be long, simply be consistent and be constant. I AM always listening.

Remember that I AM the power. I don’t listen more carefully if your words happen to be more eloquent. I simply desire heartfelt, ongoing communication with you. So share what’s on your heart, and listen as I share what’s on Mine.

The Power of My Breath

Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Beloved, never underestimate the power of My breath, for no death can prevail against My breath of life, My Holy Spirit. Refuse to allow your natural senses to mandate truth, and instead look to Me and seek My judgement. For I AM wise and merciful – abounding in love, and nothing is too hard for Me.

Ask Me to breathe. Ask for My Holy Spirit to invade. Have faith that I AM fully able to do “abundantly above all you can ask of think” and think big. Prophesy to the dead bones, “Come alive!” No situation is beyond My redemption, so look to Me is faith, beloved, and believe.

Loving Ears

Psalm 17:6 (TPT) You will answer me, God; I know you always will, like you always do as you listen with love to my every prayer.

Beloved, think not that I am deaf to your petitions simply because I do not answer quickly or in the way you expected. I listen with the loving ears of One who adores you and who has the utmost concern for the things that matter to you.

You can trust Me with the desires of your heart and the prayers of your deepest longing. Share them with Me, beloved, that we might hold them close together. For I AM faithful to respond, and always faithful to be working for good.

Be Vigilant

Matthew 26:41 (ASV) Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Beloved, stay alert. Keep your spiritual eyes open and attentive. Then allow My Spirit to move you based on what you’ve seen, that you might know how to pray. Resist the urge to rely on your natural senses, for they are limited and create bias. 

Instead be vigilant in the spirit – be open to what you’re “seeing” and sensing. Then pray. For, beloved, I have called you to a lifestyle of prayer. So be intentional to continually stay in communion with Me as you bring petitions before My throne.

Turn Your Faith into the Currency of Prayer

Mark 11:24 (TPT) This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours.

Beloved, turn your faith into the currency of prayer. Ask, seek, and knock. The door will be opened to you. So align yourself with Me, and immerse yourself in Me. Meditate on My Word. Know My heart and trust Me to know yours. 

From that place of intimacy – in the beauty of being known, recognize that the more time you spend with Me, the more your desires align with Mine. Be Prayerful and Expectant

James 5:16 (AMP) …The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Beloved, allow yourself to dream and hope. You know who I AM – the God of the impossible, so don’t hesitate to bring to Me that which stirs in your heart. Resist the urge to qualify your heart’s desires to determine their “worth” because I love to hear the desires of your heart. No petition is too outlandish or outrageous – I love when you think big because I AM a big God. Nor is any request too small or insignificant. What is on your heart is important to Me, and I hear the requests of My children.

So allow your heartfelt requests to come forth in prayer and expectation. Trust Me to move. There is great power as you team together with Me. So don’t be one who “has not because they ask not.” Ask, seek, and knock; then wait expectantly for Me to open the door.

Be certain to ask in faith. What is the point of asking if you expect no response? Would you knock on a door without expectation of it being opened? Be sure to be expectant that I will hear and respond. It may not be in the way you’re hoping, but I don’t ignore the petitions of those I love (and I love you). So be prayerful and expectant, beloved, and watch as I move.

Tenacious Warfare

Jeremiah 51:27 (GW) Raise your battle flag throughout the world. Blow the ram’s horn among the nations. Prepare nations to attack Babylon. Tell the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz to attack it. Appoint a commander to lead the attack. Bring up horses like a swarm of locusts.

Beloved, keep your heart tuned into My frequency and keep your eyes at the ready. Be sensitive and know the times. Listen for when I rally My people – calling them together from the east and from the west. Respond to My cry. It is time to take action.

Prepare for battle, beloved – a war fought on your knees through the righteous prayer and intercession of the saints. They are as strong and mighty as rearing stallions – bold and fearless. So listen and respond. Join the troops, be tenacious in your warfare, and remember I AM always victorious.
