Persist Until the Door Swings Wide

Matthew 7:7 (ESV) Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Beloved, be persistent in your pursuit. Refuse to yield to opposition or be deterred by hindrances. You know My voice, you know My heart for you, refuse to accept anything less than My best for you. Wrestle until you come out the victor.

Refuse to turn away until the door swings wide – until victory is complete and access is granted. Do not lose heart. Trust that I AM with you, leading you, and therefore defeat is not an option. I AM the Lord your God and I AM mighty to save. Continue reading “Persist Until the Door Swings Wide”

Know Me in Truth

Matthew 7:23 (NLT) But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Beloved, choose to know Me and know My ways. Choose to obey My instructions. I’ve intentionally detailed the path of righteousness in My word so there is no room for confusion. Be mindful not to deceive yourself into thinking you can do your things, your way and do it in My name.

Beloved, do not take My name in vain. Refuse to misrepresent Me – to yourself or others. Know Me in truth. Know Me by My Spirit. Intentionally align with Me and My ways that I might be able to say in that day that I know you and you are Mine.

Wind and Fire

Matthew 3:12 (DARBY) whose winnowing fan [is] in his hand, and he shall thoroughly purge his threshing-floor, and shall gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

Beloved, the wind of My Spirit shall separate the wheat from the chaff, the holy from the unholy, the pure from the profane. So that only that which is holy may remain. I AM the Refiner – a roaring fire – cleansing and purifying.

My presence begets change. You cannot help but be moved. You cannot help but step away from that which is unholy and unrighteous, for in My presence the stark contrast between darkness and light is made blindingly clear. So allow the wind of My Spirit and the fire of My presence to do their work and bring forth purity and beauty in your heart.

Obedience Born of Love

Matthew 5:48 (VOICE) But you are called to something higher: “Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Beloved, I AM righteous just as you are you are called to righteousness. Being given the gift of grace in no way absolves you from the responsibility to walk in obedience. If salvation is your only motivation for obedience, then your heart is amiss.

Choose obedience out of your love for Me and out of a desire to please Me. I am well aware you will fall short, but your desire and efforts bless My heart and set you apart from the world. Continuing to try after you’ve failed demonstrates a keen perseverance and sends a message to those around you that I AM worth the effort. So be a person of integrity and holiness. Be like Me.

Trust Me to Know You

Matthew 7:11 (NLT) So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

Beloved, I love to lavish My children with good gifts. I AM YHVH Bore, the Lord your Creator. I know how I’ve made you and the details of how I’ve wired you. I know your desires and the things that bring you joy. I know you even better than you know yourself. Trust that I know what will fulfill you.

Yield to Me. Ask Me for the good gifts I would have you have rather than persistently petitioning your wants. There will definitely be times those two things align, but I see things from a vantage point you don’t (and indeed cannot), so there are things I know will bless you beyond measure that are not even in your purview.

Trust Me and trust My heart for you. I AM and I AM the rewarder of those who diligently seek Me. Open your hands and heart to receive the blessings and gifts I have for you. Continue reading “Trust Me to Know You”

An Irrefutable Testimony

Matthew 19:21 (AMP) Jesus answered him, “If you wish to be perfect [that is, have the spiritual maturity that accompanies godly character with no moral or ethical deficiencies], go and sell what you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me [becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”

Beloved, hold nothing back from Me. Follow hard after Me. Allow Me to work My perfect purpose in and through you. As you allow Me in restrained access, My burning passion and the fire of My Holy Spirit refines and matures you, bringing forth your inherent strength and beauty of character.

Then as you walk in My favor – as one with unreserved access to the King – I will cause the miraculous to follow you. For your faith has declared My faithfulness thus My power will make manifest the fruit of your faith, making your life and your walk an irrefutable testimony of who I AM.

Be at Peace

Matthew 6:27 (CSB) Can any of you add one moment to his life-span by worrying?

Beloved, refuse to allow the enemy to tempt you into useless cycles of fruitless energy by worrying. Trust in Me. I AM sovereign. I AM almighty. Nothing shocks or surprises Me. Nothing catches Me off guard. Rest in that knowledge.

You don’t have to be in control or even try to understand all the why’s of a situation, you can simply rest knowing that One who is for you does know, and trust Me to lead, guide, and protect you in the midst. Lean on Me. Rest in Me. Be at peace.

Move Others as You Have Moved Me

Matthew 20:34 (VOICE) Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they could see, and so they followed Him.

Beloved, I love you. Therefore My heart is easily moved with compassion toward you. You don’t need to beg or plead or bargain – I cannot be controlled or manipulated – but I love you, and I love you deeply. You move Me deeply.

So expect My touch of compassion in your life and on your heart, beloved, and then respond. When I touch you, you are changed – and that change moves you (just as you moved Me). When you are rightly aligned, you reflect Me and My heart of compassion, and so in turn you will touch others. Freely you have received, freely give.

It is worth the cost to extend your hand and bless another. Do not withhold. Reflect Me and My heart to give freely and generously on the kind and the cruel. Be My light, shining forth and move others as you have moved Me. Continue reading “Move Others as You Have Moved Me”

Be a Conduit of Blessing and Grace

Psalm 112:5 (VOICE) Good comes to all who are gracious and share freely; they conduct their affairs with sound judgment.

Beloved, just as I have extended grace to you, you (being made in My image) should be intentional about extending grace to others. Freely you’ve received, freely give. Withholding grace speaks more to your character than to the recipient’s worth, so be known as one who is gracious and generous in spirit.

If it is within your power to be a blessing, resist the temptation to withhold it. Trust My leading and operate as a conduit for Me to bless others through. Closing down that pipeline doesn’t actually give you more, but rather it stagnates the flow. So open wide – holding everything loosely – what I prompt you to give won’t feel like a loss because of the magnitude of blessings on their way down the pipeline for you and for you to generously share. Do Not Fear Temptation

Matthew 4:1 (TLB) Then Jesus was led out into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, to be tempted there by Satan.

Beloved, do not be afraid of temptation, for I will not give you more than you can handle. For I AM with you – beside you – here to strengthen you when you reach for me. I will always provide a means of escape. No trap set by the enemy to ensnare you is without a means of deliverance.

Change your point of view. Embrace each temptation as an opportunity to build strength, your inner fortitude. See each one as an opportunity to find your strength by relying more heavily on Me that in your weakness My power might be made perfect. My grace is sufficient, beloved. Rest and rely on Me.
