The Great I AM

Psalm 84:11 (TPT) For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all!

Beloved, My glory fills the heavens and the earth, what can stand against Me? I AM your protector – the lifter of your head – nothing will I withhold from those who love Me and walk in accordance with My word. I give grace to the humble, joy to the weary, and rest to the heavy-laden. Find your strength in Me.

Beloved, I will never send you into battle unarmed, unequipped, or unprepared. Behold I know the plans I have for you, and they are good. I prepare each step – both the easy and the difficult, the joyous and the trying – I prepare them all and each has purpose.

Beloved, My heart’s desire has always been to tarry with you in the cool of the day. To provide you with a place of restful refreshing where we might sit together and commune. Dwell with Me. Choose Me as I have chosen you. Drink from the sweet water of My Spirit and be refreshed.

In the midst of chaos, the peace of My presence carves an oasis of serenity – that deep knowing place of calm tranquility that can only be found in Me. I long for you to tarry there. The enemy would keep you hectic, creating a mental static so loud it keeps you from hearing My voice and in far too much upheaval to find rest or peace.

Flourish

Psalm 18:2 (TPT) You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet, like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress, my mountain of hiding, my pathway of escape, my tower of rescue where none can reach me. My secret strength and shield around me, you are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause.

Beloved, I AM your firm foundation, your covering and protector, the One who nourishes your soul. Abide in Me. Rest in Me. Like a tree planted by rivers of living water, I will refresh you and give you life abundantly as you tarry with Me. May your roots go deep.

Trust that My covering will protect you from the harshness of your environment, and know that My Son’s rays will warm you and coax forth life. I declare that you will flourish, and My word will never return void, it accomplishes all it sets out to do. Flourish, beloved. Covered in My love and watered by My Spirit, flourish.

The Beauty of Being Known

Psalm 139:14 (NIV) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Beloved, I know you. I know every single detail, every nuance of who you are, you are precious to Me. I created you with intention and purpose. Everything about you and every thought you have matters to Me. You are seen by Me and you are known.

This is the beauty of being known. I take you very seriously. I don’t find you or your feelings silly or ridiculous. I know the root and intention behind each one. Truly it matters not if anyone else “gets” you, I do. And I find you worth knowing. Bask in My love and understanding of you.

I AM All You Need

Matthew 6:24 (MSG) You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.

Beloved, choose Me. Throughout history, My heartcry remains the same: that I would be your God and you would be My people. Refuse to give place to any idol, or to hold anything in greater reverence than Me. I will not be content to share your adoration, for I AM worthy of your singleminded devotion.

Only I bring true peace. Only I bring true contentment. Only I bring true security. Refuse the temptation to look to your own provision to offer those things remembering that even your provision comes from Me. It cannot love you nor fulfill your heart’s desires anymore than the idols made of wood and clay. Only I AM able to bring true fulfillment. Look to Me and refuse to look away. I AM all you need.

Life-Changing Love

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love never stops loving…

Beloved, I never stop loving you. Regardless of your choices, actions, thoughts and all the moments you fall short, My love remains the same. My hope for you is steadfast, and I find you inherently worthy of love no matter the decisions you make or whether other people seem to find you so. My love for you is eternal and unconditional, and you are made in My image.

You were created not just to be loved, but to love – without reserve. You may hate choices or be disappointed in situations, but refuse to let your love – based on the inherent nature of each person and the way I created them – to change. Be steadfast. Hold to the truth of who I made them. Expect that, prophesy it. Be relentless in prayer, and lavish love – and do so without strings or contingencies. Love like that is life-changing. Complete in Me

1 Chronicles 28:20 (VOICE) Be strong, courageous, and effective. Do not fear or be dismayed. I know that the Eternal God, who is my God, is with you. He will not abandon you or forsake you until you have finished all the work for the temple of the Eternal.

Beloved, I have not given you a spirit of fear. So when all seems like it’s swirling around you, refuse to be overwhelmed. Instead press into Me, the King of Peace – shalom, the peace that wars against chaos – and allow Me to be your rest. I AM good, and kind, and I love you.

Allow My light to penetrate the fog that would overwhelm you, and choose to bask in My glory. With eyes fixed on Me remind yourself that I always finish what I start and I will strengthen you to accomplish all that you’ve been called to. Not one thing stolen, not one thing missing, you are complete in Me.

Respond to Your Maker

John 10:27-28 (VOICE) My sheep respond as they hear My voice; I know them intimately, and they follow Me. I give them a life that is unceasing, and death will not have the last word. Nothing or no one can steal them from My hand.

I AM still speaking today. I paid the price for your freedom and your healing. It was Our joy to do so and My Son lay His life down willingly and without hesitation. Shrug off feelings of inadequacy and shame, and allow My truth – My words – to mold and shape you. Respond to your Maker. My sheep know My voice and another they will not follow.

Creation speaks My name. I AM your Creator and I spoke you into being. The echoes of My voice resound in your heartbeats. When I speak, you cannot help but respond, your very DNA recognizes its Maker. You must align. Your cells and organs must obey My word. I speak life over you and everything in you MUST take action.

Refuse to give the enemy any hold over you when your freedom came at so high a cost. Trust the plan of the One who loves you, the One who created you, the One who is sovereign. I have deemed you worthy – worth the price, worth My time, worth My love, worth My effort, worthy of My grace. It is sufficient for you. Receive, beloved.

Receiving the Gift

Isaiah 53:5 (VOICE) But he was hurt because of us; he suffered so. Our wrongdoing wounded and crushed him. He endured the breaking that made us whole. The injuries he suffered became our healing.

Beloved, My Son was born that He might die – graciously sacrificing Himself on your behalf, His love poured out for you – a selfless and perfect offering made on your behalf. The cost was high. Yet we choose it willingly because that is the depth of the love of God.

Refuse to waste the gift you’ve been given. Walk in the freedom that came at so dear a price. Cling to the Blood-bought healing for your body, mind, soul, and spirit. The price has been paid, there’s no need to try to pay again out of a mistaken sense of guilt or shame. Don’t belittle the sacrifice given out of love on your behalf.
