Trust Me Wholeheartedly and Obey

2 John 1:6 (VOICE) Love is defined by our obedience to His commands. This is the same command you have known about from the very beginning; you must live by it.

Beloved, if you say you love Me, but disregard My Word, your actions prove false your professions of love. If you wrote detailed instructions for a loved one, gave it to them and they set it aside and never read it, or read it and ignored your instructions favoring their own misguided decisions – would that demonstrate reciprocated love to you? Indeed not.

For when we truly love someone, we listen to them. We respect their authority. We heed their counsel. So beloved, what does your response to My Word say about your feelings for Me? Do you follow My instructions only when you agree with them or have deemed them to make sense? Or do you trust Me enough to relinquish control and obey in faith – trusting if I’ve given instruction, there must be good cause, even if you are unaware of it.

Demonstrate your love for Me by your obedience. You are welcome to ask questions, but choose to yield to Me even if I do not to answer, trusting that even in My lack of response, I have good cause. Refuse to be derailed or allow pride or rebellion to hinder your path. Trust Me wholeheartedly and obey.

Something New is Coming

Isaiah 43:19 (VOICE) Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak, and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert; Waters will flow where there had been none.

Beloved, something new is coming. Can you feel it in the air? The smell of rain surrounds you, though the earth beneath you is dry. Feel it in your spirit, receive it in your heart, for the day of new beginnings is rising on you now.

Receive, beloved, receive. Make ready for the new. I bring forth life from dust, so I can bring forth change for you. I AM the God of the impossible. I AM faithful. I AM true. Now watch as I move on your behalf, I’m the God of the miraculous – it’s true.

Be a Vessel of Life

John 7:37-38 (TPT) Then on the most important day of the feast, the last day, Jesus stood and shouted out to the crowds— “All you thirsty ones, come to me! Come to me and drink! Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing  from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!”

Beloved, once you truly believe in Me, the fruit of that is self-evident and cannot be restrained. My living water – of which you have partaken – should flow forth from you. As you stand – yielded – and receive from Me, you cannot help but allow it to flow through and burst forth. My life in you cannot be contained, for it is abundant.

So receive My flow that you might be cleansed and made whole. Receive My flow that you might have life, and have it more abundantly. Beloved, receive My flow that you might be a vessel of life to a parched world in need of refreshing. So receive and flow. Receive and flow.

Remain Steadfast in Hope

Titus‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭(TPT) For we continue to look forward to the joyful fulfillment of our hope in the dawning splendor of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus, the Anointed One.

Beloved, remain steadfast in hope. Resist the urge to let any present circumstances (or concerns about future ones) steal your joy. Be intentional to stay in a place of thanksgiving regardless of what comes your way.

For if you believe, by definition you must hope. If you have no hope, what confidence are you demonstrating about the faithfulness of your God? Rather, rejoice in that which you know is and is to come. Let your praise and joyful mouth be evidence of the steadfast hope you have in Me. Trust that I AM faithful, and stay rooted in hope.

YHVH Azar (the Lord your Help)

Proverbs 3:34 (TLB) The Lord mocks at mockers, but helps the humble.

Beloved, I AM your God, and a very present help in times of trouble. You need not fret about those who mock Me and have no reverence for the One who made them. Pay no mind to their successes or failures, trusting them to Me. Nor need you dwell on your own concerns, but rather  be intentional to cast those cares on Me.

I AM the One who made you. I AM intimately familiar with your frame. I created you and thought, “behold, this is good.” See yourself through My eyes and trust that I will always be close, for I AM YHVH Azar – the Lord your help, and I love you more than words can say.

Cloaked in Favor and Grace

Proverbs 3:34 (AMPC) Though He scoffs at the scoffers and scorns the scorners, yet He gives His undeserved favor to the low [in rank], the humble, and the afflicted.

Beloved, walk with head held high – not in pride, but rather in the confidence of one who knows they walk in the favor of the Lord. For as you choose a lifestyle of humility, I respond by cloaking you with grace. And as you find yourself afflicted and in times of trial, I cover you with my favor.

Refuse to be distracted by how others choose to live, and instead simply focus on how I have called you to live and on your relationship with Me. Make Me your touchstone, your north star, your strong tower. For I AM steadfast, and My love for you endures from generation to generation.

Achieve More Together

Leviticus 26:8 (NKJV) Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you.

Beloved, you achieve more together. It is beautiful to see My children operating in unity, and it brings the added blessing of greater impact for My Kingdom.

There is personal sacrifice in working together. It requires setting aside any personal agenda and instead finding mutual goals – extending grace and operating in love. From a position of humility, harmony is made easier. So choose unity. Choose multiplication and increased impact. Choose My Kingdom first, and give glory unto Me.

Demonstrate Your Love

2 John 1:6 (VOICE) Love is defined by our obedience to His commands. This is the same command you have known about from the very beginning; you must live by it.

Beloved, love is not flowery words and dramatic gestures. If you truly love Me, that love is made abundantly clear by the choices – both big and small – that you make each day. For those who love Me keep My commandments. A friend who claims to hold you in high esteem but betrays your confidence, allows their actions to belie their words.

Know My Word. Assess your actions. Ongoingly compare the two to ensure your claims of devotion to Me are underscored by your choices. Beloved, demonstrate your love – not out of a sense of obligation or ritual, but simply from a heart full of passion for Me.

A Resting Place

Psalm 106:1 (VOICE) Praise the Eternal! Thank Him because He is good and His loyal love will never end.

Beloved, My love for you never changes. I’m not mad at you or angry at things you’ve done. I AM good, and I love you with a fierceness the most frigid ice couldn’t cool, and with a passion the whole of the ocean couldn’t douse.

When you reciprocate My love, and pour it back to Me in praise, you move My heart. Just as a thoughtful gesture from a loved one can touch your heart, so you move Mine. My love for you is deep and strong, may it be a resting place for you.

Walk with Confidence

Genesis 9:13 (VOICE) I will hang a rainbow among the clouds. It will serve as a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

Beloved, I have chosen you, and made a covenant with you. My Word is as bedrock – stable and steadfast, so trust Me to be your firm foundation. Keep My promises ever in your mind’s eye, for if I have said it, it is as good as done.

Walk with confidence, as one who trusts the One in whom they’ve put their hope. For I AM faithful and true. My promises are yes and amen. And I AM good. Therefore you know you walk securely.
