The Currency of Prayer (Faith)

Luke 18:1 (VOICE) He told them a parable, urging them to keep praying and never grow discouraged…

Beloved, refuse to grow discouraged if I seem slow to answer. Is that not the essence of faith? Continue sowing the currency of prayer, waiting expectantly for things to move and shift as a result. I will not be mocked, that which you sow surely shall you reap. So sow abundantly that you might also reap an abundant harvest.

Resist the urge to be discouraged by the evidence of what you see in the natural realm. The changes you long for may have yet begun in the spiritual realm long before they manifest on earth. So refuse to give up. Refuse to lose heart. Be like the persistent widow, beloved, and persist! Act in faith and believe.  Continue reading “The Currency of Prayer (Faith)”

Hold Fast and Give Thanks

Psalm 34:1 (VOICE) I will praise the Eternal in every moment through every situation. Whenever I speak, my words will always praise Him.

Beloved, choose to stay in a place of praise at all times, not simply because I AM worthy, but also because doing so maintains your focus on what is good and perfect and true. Dayenu (it would have been sufficient). The blessings received so far are worth giving thanks for so refuse to be tempted to bitterness or anger.

Resist the urge to allow grief or frustration to overwhelm you, instead fixing your gaze on the truth that in all things I AM both good and sovereign. I bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning. Beloved, I AM enough.  Rest in Me and trust that I AM working all things for good even in the moments that doesn’t seem possible – because still it is true. Hold fast and give thanks that I AM good.  Continue reading “Hold Fast and Give Thanks”

One Who Calms the Storms

Psalm 107:29 (TPT) God stilled the storm, calmed the waves, and he hushed the hurricane winds to only a whisper.

Beloved, surely you must know that no storm – physical or natural – is too much for Me to handle. I AM the great I AM, Lord of Hosts, Creator of heaven and earth – nothing is too hard for Me. I AM strong and I AM able. I AM the one who calms the storms.

And you are My child. I take great delight in you and love to cover and protect you. Rest in the fact that I AM for you, I love you and I chose you. I have no desire to hurt or destroy you. Choose to believe that I AM for you and stay under the shelter of My wings. Continue reading “One Who Calms the Storms”

Holy Obsession

Psalm 63:8 (TPT) With passion I pursue and cling to you. Because I feel your grip on my life, I keep my soul close to your heart.

Beloved, pursue Me as I pursue you – fervently and with your whole heart. Just as your lungs cry out for air when deprived of it, so your soul cries out for Me. So breath Me in deeply, beloved. I AM here and I AM rich with love for you – ready to saturate your senses and overwhelm you in the sweetest of ways.

Remember, beloved, that your choices and actions clearly indicate your focus. Choose wisely and with intention. Make Me your holy obsession. I AM worthy of your all, and I lavish My love upon those who choose Me. Continue reading “Holy Obsession”

Intertwined Strength

Ecclesiastes 4:11 (AMP) Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone?

Beloved, I have created you for multiplication. Though yes, you can accomplish much alone, I have made you for connection, and for the power that is found there. Resist the urge to to avoid it, it is worth the effort.

It is worth the frustration in moments of misunderstanding, and worth the character building that occurs when you must operate in grace and humility to create unity. Though it takes work – without a doubt, it truly is worth it.

So resist the temptation to protect your heart by holding others away, and choose instead to love as if you’ll never get hurt. Trust your heart to me, and choose to walk in love and experience intertwined strength. Continue reading “Intertwined Strength”

The Truth About Blessings

Numbers 23:20 (VOICE) Look here, I received a word of blessing, and He has spoken a blessing. I cannot take it back.

Beloved, My promises are yes and amen. I AM not capricious nor am I looking for reasons to change My mind. When I bless, I have blessed, and that blessing remains.

Resist the urge to be offended if the blessing is conditional, for I make the conditions known from the onset that you may choose rightly. Refuse to behave like a spoiled child who feels entitled to all life’s joys without care or responsibility.

What kind of Father would I be if I corrupted My children? I AM a good Father. So yes, some blessings come as a result of behavior, but also some come simply as a result of My generous love and desire to bless (like sunshine and rain).

So receive with gratitude all you have been given. Trust that I have reason for each thing I grant or withhold, release or delay. But you can rest assured that each decision is being made from a heart filled with love for you, and that even in the moments of trial I AM there. Continue reading “The Truth About Blessings”

Stay in the Light

Luke 8:17 (VOICE) Hidden things will always come out into the open. Secret things will come to light and be exposed.

Beloved, I AM not blind, nor do I hide My eyes from the things done in darkness. I AM the bringer of light because I AM light. I AM the revealer of mysteries and I expose the acts of wickedness and deception. I see and understand every motivation of every heart, and I shed light and bring truth that all will see and know and that every excuse is brought to naught.

For I AM holy, and I will not be mocked. Wickedness begets wickedness, and righteousness is born of truth. So hold fast to the truth and stay in the light. Walk rightly. My sheep know My voice and another’s they will not follow. Trust that I will bring forth truth, and fix your gaze on Me. Continue reading “Stay in the Light”

Refuse to Take the Bait

Psalm 142:4 (GW) Look to my right and see that no one notices me. Escape is impossible for me. No one cares about me.

Beloved, though there may be times you feel overlooked, unseen, unimportant, and worthless, those feelings are not communicating truth to you. Refuse to take the bait. The enemy seeks to convince you of these things, but he is a liar and the father of lies.

Remember that David, a man after My own heart, a man quoted and beloved, a man still inspiring multitudes hundreds of years later felt the same way. You never know the full impact your life and actions have.

So keep your eyes and heart fixed on Me. Focus on obedience, and knowing and loving My Word. Abide with Me, and allow a life cultivated in that fertile soil to bear fruit and do so abundantly. Continue reading “Refuse to Take the Bait”

Spirit of the Lord

Luke 4:18 (VOICE) The Spirit of the Lord the Eternal One is on Me. Why? Because the Eternal designated Me to be His representative to the poor, to preach good news to them.

Beloved, be My voice. Open your mouth and trust Me to fill it. Allow My Spirit to flow through you, to inspire thought and action, to give vision of the unseen, and to bring prophetic revelation in My perfect timing. Trust, and yield to My flow.

As you partner with My Spirit, you will see the miraculous take place. The supernatural will become as if it were common so clear and continuous its evidence. The gifts of My Spirit alive and on display for all to see. The beauty of My glory manifest on earth and in the heavens. Choose, beloved, choose to yield and flow in Me. Arrayed in Splendor

1 Chronicles 29:11 (DBY) Thine, Jehovah, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the splendour, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is thine: thine, Jehovah, is the kingdom, and thou art exalted as Head above all;

Beloved, I AM arrayed in splendor. I AM the very essence of glory. I AM beauty, and I display My majesty for all to see. Pause and reflect on all I AM. Let your eyes and heart and mind be filled with the wonder of Me. Stand in awe and let your heart be enthralled by Me.

Stare in holy wonder, beloved, for I defy description. Yet there is purpose in the trying. Even though you can never fully understand the breadth, height, and depth of My love, it is worth the effort to try.

As you come to know Me more, the way you see everything changes – clarity comes and a rightness of scale. Things that once seemed overwhelming begin to feel manageable or even insignificant compared to Me – the One who loves and adores you, the One who is staunchly for you.

Fix your eyes on Me, beloved, and refuse to shift your gaze. Be fascinated by all that I AM and immerse yourself in My splendor and majesty. Continue reading “Arrayed in Splendor”
