Hover in My Presence

Psalm 91:1 (TPT) When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.

Beloved, hover in My presence. Rest under My covering. In Me will you find peace. In Me will you find healing. And in Me will you find joy, safety, and so much more. So rest in Me, refusing to be drawn away.

Beloved, the choice is yours: to hover close or to step out from under My wings. Be mindful of the consequences of both and be intentional to choose wisely. I will not force you to seek My presence and protection, but I long to lavish you with it. I never grow tired of you or weary of your needs.

So tarry with Me, be intentional to stay close. Just as a child might cling to a parent for a feeling of safety, so you should remain with Me – your heart ever tarrying, clinging tightly to Me because in Me you find your hope and your refuge. Find your strength in Me.

Let Your Joyous Exaltation Ring

Psalm 84:4 (VOICE) How blessed are those who make Your house their home, who live with You; they are constantly praising You. [pause]

Beloved, lose yourself in an atmosphere of worship and praise. Be overcome in awe of who I AM. Meditate on My goodness. Saturate yourself in My presence. Soak in Me, and abide in that place, rest in that place, and make your dwelling in that place.

Those who abide in Me are blessed, and the understanding of the blessing found by dwelling in My presence brings forth a heart full of praise. The welling up of gratitude bubbles up and overflows in joyous exaltation. “Holy is the Lord God almighty! Worthy is the Lamb that was slain.” Abide in that place, beloved, and let your joyous exaltation ring.

Sabbath Rest

Leviticus 23:3 (NLT) “You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the LORD’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live.

Beloved, I created you and I know well your inner workings. Just as a car comes with a manual so you know how to take care of it in a way to keep it in the best condition, so I have instructed you in My Word about how you should live. I have not created this structure to exert needless control, but rather because having made you, I know what you need in order to be your best, and I have instructed you accordingly.

Resist the urge to neglect the rest you need. I have instructed you that six days you may work, but should set aside the seventh for rest. It is not wasteful to observe the sabbath. It is needful. Pause for times of refreshing in My presence. Pause for times of fellowship with the Body. Pause simply to rest. Make time for sabbath rest and see how you flourish.

El Ori (God my Light)

Psalm 27:1 (VOICE) The Eternal is my light amidst my darkness and my rescue in times of trouble. So whom shall I fear? He surrounds me with a fortress of protection. So nothing should cause me alarm.

Beloved, I AM Light. I AM the source. You act as My rays – shining out for all the world to see. Darkness cannot stand in the face of the blinding beauty of heavenly light. Reflect Me. Allow My pure light to warm those around you, and draw them to Me without a word – simply by your radiant glow.

I bring clarity. I bring truth. In Me no confusion can remain. I AM the Light of the World – there is no changing darkness in Me, I AM the light of revelation, and I AM the bringer of truth. No darkness may remain, the enemy must flee. So breathe easy, beloved, and rest in the glorious radiance of El Ori.

Flourish

Psalm 18:2 (TPT) You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet, like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress, my mountain of hiding, my pathway of escape, my tower of rescue where none can reach me. My secret strength and shield around me, you are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause.

Beloved, I AM your firm foundation, your covering and protector, the One who nourishes your soul. Abide in Me. Rest in Me. Like a tree planted by rivers of living water, I will refresh you and give you life abundantly as you tarry with Me. May your roots go deep.

Trust that My covering will protect you from the harshness of your environment, and know that My Son’s rays will warm you and coax forth life. I declare that you will flourish, and My word will never return void, it accomplishes all it sets out to do. Flourish, beloved. Covered in My love and watered by My Spirit, flourish.

Find Your Rest in Me

Matthew 11:28 (GW) “Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.

Beloved, refuse to be needlessly weighed down, carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders – a burden you were not intended to endure. Choose instead to trust Me. I am mindful of all the details, so place your cares and concerns in My capable hands, and trust Me to carry the load.

Find your rest in Me. Worrying is fruitless, so choose instead to be steadfast in faithful reliance on the One who loves you, who created you, and who cares for you. I AM All you need. Find your strength in Me. Continue reading “Find Your Rest in Me”

Palet, Your Deliverer

Psalm 32:7 (AMP) You are my hiding place; You, Lord, protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah.

Beloved, there is no situation so severe I cannot rescue you. I AM Palet, the Deliverer – your very present help in times of trouble. I walk with you through the storm, and I comfort you with My presence.

Look to Me. Regardless of the turmoil surrounding you, I AM your peace, your hiding place – the One who never leaves you or forsakes you. Rest in Me. Listen for the songs I sing over you, and set your mind on Me. Trust yourself in My hands, for I AM good.

Selah (again)

Psalm 24:10 (AMP) Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.

Beloved, pause. Stop and reflect, truly take moment and ponder who I AM. Ponder My glory, the works of My hands, My character and identity. It’s far too easy to get caught up in the rhetoric and lose sight of who I truly am. I AM more than simply words regurgitated by well-meaning people who get so busy saying the “right” things they’ve missed the point: relationship with Me.

So pause. Make room for Me to speak, make room for Me to love you, and make room for all I share and teach you to penetrate. Meditate on Me – on My words, both rhema and logos (whispered in your ear and written in My word). Slow down. Refuse to be tempted to rush this journey. Some things cannot be hurried. So pause. Ponder Me, beloved. Selah.

Note: I find it ironic that in a year of doing these Prophetic Nuggets, this particular post “accidentally” got posted (and sent out to the subscribers) twice. 🙂 After my initial embarrassment, I realized God had this happen on purpose because He wanted to re-emphasize the need to pause. Replace Worry with Prayer and Thanksgiving

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Beloved, I AM in control. You don’t need to fret or worry. Release any fear and rest in your trust of Me. Allow My love to draw you back, deeper into Me, and My peace to quiet your soul, while you press in for more of Me.

Keep turning your heart and mind back to Me as the cares of the world seek to distract your gaze. Only My love satisfies. Only My peace brings true rest. So with your mouth declare My goodness, and with your words share the things on your heart, and trust Me – the lover of your soul – to see to each need and concern. Cast your cares on Me and let your heart overflow with gratitude and thanksgiving fall from your lips without end.
