The Ripple Effect

Matthew 5:16 (VOICE) You are like that illuminating light. Let your light shine everywhere you go, that you may illumine creation, so men and women everywhere may see your good actions, may see creation at its fullest, may see your devotion to Me , and may turn and praise your Father in heaven because of it .

Beloved, cultivate the light and life within you. Resist the urge to do anything that dims or besmirches. Operate in a high level of integrity. Resist self-righteousness and judgment. Be transparent and lead by example.

Walk in a way that honors Me and brings Me glory. Others will be challenged and changed simply by seeing how you live. So live in steadfast devotion to Me, and watch the ripple effect that faithful adoration has on yourself and those around you.

Harvest Prayers

Matthew 9:38 (AMP) So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Beloved, the harvest is precious to Me. Each heart, each soul is priceless to Me. I desire that not one would be lost. There are so many to be reached, so resist the urge to be distracted by fruitless endeavors. Instead be intentional – not just being a light, but in prayer.

Be praying for the harvest, beloved, both for Me to send workers and for hearts to be prepared. Intentionally and relentlessly pray. Allow My passion to become yours. Pray, beloved, pray. Continue reading “Harvest Prayers”

Plentiful Harvest

Matthew 9:37 (AMP) Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is [indeed] plentiful, but the workers are few.

Beloved, the harvest is plentiful. Everywhere around you are people who are in desperate need of Me. Resist the urge to use your natural mind to find them. Instead simply be light. Shine in the midst of the darkness. Allow all to see how My hand on your life has radically changed who you are.

Be moved by My Spirit. Allow Me to lead to you when to speak and what to say. Refuse to allow logic to trump My voice. Yield to Me. I know the hearts I have prepared for a word in season. So be My voice to those who can’t hear Me – of whom there are many.

Matthew 9:36-38 (TPT) When he saw the vast crowds of people, Jesus’ heart was deeply moved with compassion, because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd. He turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in. As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out  many more reapers to harvest his grain!”

Be Moved

Matthew 9:36 (AMP) When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion and pity for them, because they were dispirited and distressed, like sheep without a shepherd.

Beloved, see as I see. Look not to the world with judgement and disgust, but rather be moved with compassion. For without Me people will seek every manner of substitute to fill the God-shaped void within them.

So be light, and shine brightly. Win those around you to Me without needing a word. Shine forth godly character saturated with unconditional love, that they might have a taste of My heart for them and know no substitute will ever suffice.  Continue reading “Be Moved”

Refuse to Withhold

Matthew 16:25 (VOICE) The person who wants to save his life must lose it, and she who loses her life for Me will find it.

Beloved, refuse to hold anything back. The temptation is always to protect oneself, to hedge one’s bets, to cover your own interests, but I AM fully trustworthy to see to your needs. You cannot both protect yourself and surrender to Me fully. To yield requires trust, and to do so without condition.

Search your heart, beloved, and see if there are areas you  are yet withholding. Resist the urge to try to “help” Me take care of you, for I have the job well in hand. Give yourself to Me completely, and know I AM covering you in My great love.

Hold Nothing Back

Matthew 22:37 (TPT) Jesus answered him, “‘Love  the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’

Beloved, hold nothing back. Give Me all your love, devotion, and passion, but also give Me free reign to mold and shape, to refine and prune. Trust Me to do so with love and with purpose, for My heart is to see you bloom into your best self.

I created you and I know your innermost parts. I know the purpose I designed you for and I made you well. You are not “too much.” A fish on land looks foolish and weak, but put him in the water for which he was created and he will flourish.

Trust Me to place you where you belong. Refuse to waste time wishing you were different or trying to be so. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Be you and be you to the fullest.

Sweet Fruit of Forgiveness

Matthew 18:22 (VOICE) Jesus: You must forgive not seven times, but seventy times seven.

Beloved, I have called you to choose forgiveness. No offense against you is so great it is worthy of holding on to and creating separation from Me. Forgive as you have been forgiven. There is no need to hold offense when I AM your champion.

Release injustices and unkind words and acts into My hands and trust Me to be the Righteous Judge I AM. Entrusting them to Me doesn’t mean what has been done is acceptable, it simply means you’re entrusting to My judgment the most appropriate means of addressing it. So release it to Me and leave it in My capable hands and let the sweet fruit of forgiveness ripen.

Find Your Joy in Me

Matthew 5:4 (NIV) Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Beloved, I will not leave you lonely or hurting. My love for you is steadfast and true – all-encompassing and healing, wrap yourself in it and allow it to comfort and restore. Your heart is precious to me.

My desire is to protect you from all harm, but in the moments you walk through the desert place or the flames of trials burn hot, know that I AM with you and will never leave you. You are My beloved and My delight. Find your joy in Me.

Hosanna

Psalm 118:25 (TPT) O God, please come and save us again; bring us your breakthrough-victory!

Beloved, cry out, “Hosanna!” Cry out for salvation of the lost, for the broken and weary to come home. Refuse to grow weary in your intercession, and be relentless in your pleas. For I will not turn a deaf ear to your petitions, nor will I neglect to answer your call.

Beloved, cry out, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” Give honor to the One who was slain. Rejoice in His holy sacrifice, and the victory it has already won. Call out “Hosanna in the highest!” Welcome the heavenly hosts to join your praise. Rejoice for salvation is won – it is coming, and, lo, it is already here. Continue reading “Hosanna”

Love Without Reserve and Love Well

Matthew 5:43-48 (TPT) …How are you any different from others if you limit your kindness only to your friends? Don’t even the ungodly do that?…

Beloved, there would be no need for Me to encourage you to love someone if they were someone you found easy to love. You would do it instinctively. So be mindful not to dismiss My instruction simply because it is difficult, challenges you, or makes no sense to your natural mind.

You do not see the hearts of men as I do, but if you trust My leading, you can navigate the murky waters of their inner workings with ease as you yield to My direction. I will not steer you wrongly.

Remember that simply because things look messy does not mean they aren’t exactly as they should be. When a cook is working on an elaborate meal, it is not unusual for things to look chaotic while the creation is underway, but a masterpiece still comes forth.

Refuse to be discouraged by the work in progress and simply trust My Spirit to lead you rightly. Love without reserve and love well. Continue reading “Love Without Reserve and Love Well”
