I AM Willing Because You Are Worth It

Psalm 136:1 (VOICE) Let your heart overflow with praise to the Eternal, for He is good, for His faithful love lasts forever.

Beloved, I AM good. My heart towards you is good. I AM unchanging. Ever faithful. Steadfast. Worthy of your trust. Pause and reflect on that. Pause and consider if you truly believe that My heart towards you is good, or if you just pay lip service to those sentiments you know you’re supposed to have.

I desire real relationship with you. I desire authenticity. Yes, I want you to trust Me and yes I’m worthy of that trust, but I want it to be freely given – not out of a sense of obligation, but from a heart overflowing with love for Me. If that isn’t where you are yet beloved, I’m not angry about that. I’m willing to put in the time and work to show you who I AM. Are you willing to take the time and open your heart to see Me as I AM?

A Slave to Bondage No More

2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMPC) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).

Beloved, My Spirit brings freedom. Receiving Me is receiving My Spirit. You are a slave to bondage no more. My Spirit lives within you. The traps of the enemy cannot hold you as you surrender yourself to Me. Let My Spirit lead and guide you. Be sensitive to My flow. I will direct you, I will teach you, and I will convict you. Trust Me to lead you rightly (and trust Me to lead others rightly as they surrender to Me too).

I can open the door to your cage, but I cannot force you to fly. You must choose to fly free. I have made a way, but you must walk it out. Beloved, soar with Me. You’ve been released – the chains broken – don’t believe the enemy’s lies that you are still his hostage. The blood has paid the price, you need not try to pay it again – it is already covered – simply move in the freedom that came at so high a cost.

Equip Yourself 

Ephesians 6:13 (AMP) Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger]…

Beloved, being dressed for battle does not ensure it will come, it simply ensures you’re ready and equipped if (and when) it does. Yes, I protect you, cover you, and fight for you, but you must also be prepared to fight for yourself. Beloved, you still choose what thoughts you entertain and what things you welcome into your space, so you must choose wisely. And when the enemy comes, stand and resist. Then we can stand together – united – working toward a common cause.

When the enemy lies, recognize it for what it is and reject that lie. When he tempts you to compromise, see the slippery slope for what it is and stand fast. Be alert for his ploys and thwart them at every turn. The more you know the truth – My word – the easier it is to see his evil manipulations. Equip yourself, beloved, and be prepared, but know I AM with you always.

Higher Than Any Created Thing

Jeremiah 29:13 (NLT) If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

Love Me, beloved. Choose Me. Desire the Creator above the creation or created things. See Me. Know Me. Recognize My fingerprints. Creation points to Me. The purpose of its glory and grandeur and even its intricate design is to help you know Me. I AM higher than any created thing. It all points to Me.

I AM engaging you. I AM drawing you in. Come to Me and choose Me. Don’t be distracted by the things around you. Let the world fall away. Stay in a place of shalom – the peace that wars against chaos – let it quiet the storms. Find Me there in that place of peace. Seek Me. When you seek Me with all your heart you will find Me. I want to be found by you. I AM drawing you in and drawing you closer. Run to Me, beloved. Enjoy Me and let us enjoy life together.

Worth the Price 

1 Peter 1:18-19 (VOICE) You know that a price was paid to redeem you from following the empty ways handed on to you by your ancestors; it was not paid with things that perish (like silver and gold), but with the precious blood of the Anointed, who was like a perfect and unblemished sacrificial lamb.

Beloved, you were worth the price – though it was steep – you are that precious to Me. I want you to understand the depths of My love for you. I want you to understand your value. At the same time, I want you to understand what your sin cost because I want to see you choose wisely going forward. Though My grace is freely given, it isn’t free. It has a cost, a great one, you are simply worth it.

But do not fall prey to the enemy’s lies that a “small sin” here or a “little lie” there makes no difference. Beloved, you have been washed clean – don’t be coerced back into the muck and the mire – walk in integrity and righteousness. Choose wisely and exercise discernment. Do not trample the gift you’ve been given by treating it as though it has no value. Walk rightly and let your walk challenge others to do the same. Encourage one another in uprightness and love. Do What is Good 

1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV) “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.

Beloved, I have given you the ability to choose that you might choose well. Choose things that bring life. Choose things that build up. Choose things that foster relationship with Me. Will I force you to make certain choices? No. But don’t think for a moment that I don’t have a strong opinion on what you should pick or that I am not eagerly awaiting seeing what decisions you make.

I AM highly vested in you. In the outcome of your like and walk! I love you, a desire blessing for you. It’s why so much of My word is dedicated to instructing you in right and wrong that you might make informed decisions. Choosing that which is good, perfect, and true. Choose Me and the things of Me.

Philippians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Secured in Truth

Ephesians 6:14 (AMP) So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist…

Beloved, My word is truth. Just as you cannot decide to wear “part” of a belt, it is fruitless to choose which parts of My word you will obey while discarding parts you don’t like, want, or understand. It leaves you defenseless. Choose ALL of Me. ALL of My word. My Holy Spirit will guide you in walking out that choice, but you must be the one to choose.

Everything hinges on this choice. Just as all other pieces of the armor connect to and rely on the belt, so every part of your life and walk hinges on your choice to secure yourself in truth. It is a central, foundational, core choice. Will you choose Me – My word – without exception or compromise? And if you already have, will you be steadfast in walking that choice out? For this choice takes courage and dauntlessness of heart. Choose wisely, beloved. Arm yourself well.

I AM Your Source of Strength

Psalm 30:7 (AMP) By Your favor and grace, O Lord, you have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was horrified.

Beloved, I will not turn My face from you while your heart and mind are fixed on Me. When you choose Me, I will never desert you. But I love you enough to let you choose. I love you enough to let you walk away – though I will not make it easy for you to do so, hedging your way with thorns and fiercely pursuing you – but I will not force you to choose Me, though I AM best for you; yet I will hope, and I will contend for your affections because you are worth it.

Even in the darkest hour, My heart remains steadfast to you. So lean on Me. Let Me give you strength, be your strength, be the lifter of your head (for I AM Rum Rosh, the Lifter of Your Head). I AM God.
