Those Who Trust Me Will Not Be Put to Shame

Psalm 2:12 (VOICE) …blessings await all who trust in Him. They will find God a gentle refuge.

Beloved, regardless of who may have hurt you in days past, I’m not them. I AM faithful and true, and I fiercely guard My children. Rest in Me and trust Me to have you’re best interests at heart – even when you cannot see it.

Those who trust in Me will not be put to shame, for I cover them with My blessings and walk with them through each trial. The presence of hardships in your life does not mean I’m not faithful, for character and faith are built in those moments. But know I AM with you – sustaining you through your darkest hours, and I promise joy comes in the morning. So trust in Me.

Quiet Yourself and Listen

Psalm 27:4 (TPT) Here’s the one thing I crave from God, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer.

Beloved, in the beauty of our intimacy I cherish all you share with Me even as you are called to revere all I share with you. When you love and respect someone, you value their thoughts and dreams, requests and petitions. So I take great pleasure in yours.

There’s no need to guard your heart from Me, beloved, for your heart is safe in My hands. I love you, and what matters to you, matters to Me. Can you say the same? Be sure to take the time to sit, quiet yourself, and listen. Resist the urge to rush Me to speak. Wait upon Me, and delight in My glory and grace as you gaze upon the beauty of My face.

Yield Yourself to Me

Psalm 95:6 (TPT) Come and kneel before this Creator-God; come and bow before the mighty God, our majestic maker!

Beloved, joyously take your place at My feet. To humble oneself is not to be humiliated, it is simply a point of surrender. It is you laying down your burdens and allowing Me to pick them up.

Find your rest, beloved, at My feet. Feel My touch upon your head as I cover you with My love. Like a precious ointment upon My feet, so you pour your heart out before Me. The sweet aroma of your offering is incredibly pleasing to Me.

You honor Me as you choose to yield. You magnify Me in your heart and on the earth – giving Me the honor due My name. Blessed are you as you yield yourself to Me.

Rest Well

Leviticus 25:4 (NIV) But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the LORD. Do not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.

Beloved, inactivity does not mean purposelessness. Rest has purpose, and it is deeply necessary. Everything I have created requires pause – room to breathe, a moment to refresh. Resist the urge to find this time wasteful.

Just as healing often takes place below the surface and out of view of the natural eye and yet its effects become known over time, so rest brings life when rightly paired with times of activity – both are essential. So be intentional with your pauses and rest well even as you labor well.

El Elyon (Most High God)

1 Kings 7:21 (GW) Hiram set up the pillars in the temple’s entrance hall. He set up the pillar on the right and named it Jachin [He Establishes]. Then he set up the pillar on the left and named it Boaz [In Him Is Strength].

Beloved, I establish and I bring strength. I stand fast, and I AM your firm foundation. Trust that I AM building that which is needed for what is to come. I see what lies ahead, and each and every need is accounted for. Rest in Me.

Pillar of truth. Pillar of strength. Unchangeable and unwavering am I. Fully dependable. Wholly reliable. I AM El Elyon, the Most High God. Fully trust in Me.  Continue reading “El Elyon (Most High God)”

Elohim Yakol (God Most Able)

Psalm 21:7 (VOICE) For the king puts his trust in the Eternal, so he will not be shaken because of the persistent love of the Most High God.

Beloved, refuse to be shaken. Have complete trust in Me. I AM worthy. And I AM willing and more than able to carry you and all that concerns you. No load is too heavy – no need beyond notice. I AM El Roi, the God who sees.

I love you, and what matters to you, matters to me. Let Me lavish you with My love even as you respond in kind. Trust in Me, and rest in that trust, for I AM able. Behold My name is Elohim Yakol, God most able.

Adonai Ori (the Lord your Light) and YHVH Shalom (the Lord your Peace)

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

Beloved, push back as fear tries to encroach upon you. You know it is not from Me. Find strength and rest in My presence and resist the urge to succumb to anything dark, like confusion or anxiety. I AM Adonai Ori – the Lord your light, and light dispels darkness.

So stand in the light unafraid. Refuse to be moved or intimidated by darkness around you. You know Me and you know My voice, refuse to be moved by another’s. Stand fast and be at peace, for I AM YHVH Shalom, the Lord your peace.

Lavish Blessings

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power…

Beloved, as you tarry with Me, I will refresh and renew – I will sooth you with balm and heal your heart. I will strengthen and encourage you. I will build you up and empower you.

Waiting on Me is no passive activity, much happens and much is accomplished even as you “waste” your time on Me. So pour it out and watch as I pour back – pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing, for I AM a loving Father and I lavish blessings upon My children. Have eyes to see.  Continue reading “Lavish Blessings”

YHVH Shalom (the Lord your Peace)

Mark 4:39 (VOICE) He got up, shouted words into the wind, and commanded the waves. Jesus: That’s enough! Be still! And immediately the wind died down to nothing, the waves stopped.

Beloved, I AM YHVH Shalom, the Lord your peace, the One who calms the storm. I AM the giver of peace and I AM peace itself. Rest in Me.

Beloved, I make no promises that the winds and waves won’t come. Instead I promise I AM with you to calm the waves – whether those be inner or outer – to bring peace. So trust in Me and wait, for I AM good and I AM faithful. Rest in Me.

One Who Calms the Storms

Psalm 107:29 (TPT) God stilled the storm, calmed the waves, and he hushed the hurricane winds to only a whisper.

Beloved, surely you must know that no storm – physical or natural – is too much for Me to handle. I AM the great I AM, Lord of Hosts, Creator of heaven and earth – nothing is too hard for Me. I AM strong and I AM able. I AM the one who calms the storms.

And you are My child. I take great delight in you and love to cover and protect you. Rest in the fact that I AM for you, I love you and I chose you. I have no desire to hurt or destroy you. Choose to believe that I AM for you and stay under the shelter of My wings. Continue reading “One Who Calms the Storms”
