YHVH Shammah (the Lord is Present)

Psalm 18:11 (TPT) Wrapped and hidden in the thick-cloud darkness, his thunder-tabernacle surrounded him. He hid himself in mystery-darkness; the dense rain clouds were his garments. 

Beloved, wherever you are, I AM there. I AM ever present, always with you – your constant companion. I wrap you in My love. As you celebrate your greatest joys, I AM with you rejoicing along side you; and when you are in your lowest lows, I AM there too – to comfort you. I AM always there.

No darkness is too deep for the light of My love to penetrate, for I AM always with you. So press in to that stillness within your heart and feel My presence right there. Abide with Me, beloved, as I abide with you.

Join Me

Genesis 3:8 (NLT) When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the LORD God among the trees.

Beloved, when you sense My presence, join Me. Let no sense of shame should hinder your approach, for My love is no fickle thing. I AM here for you always. And refuse to allow busyness and obligation to distract you, for what can be more important than time with Me?

Trust that if I’m causing a divine interruption, I can provide the grace to cover you, for I AM mindful of every responsibility on your shoulders and I AM the one who strengthens you to fulfill all that you do. So join Me. Walk with Me. And may we fellowship together.

I AM with You Through It All

Psalm 125:4 (AMP) Do good, O Lord, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts..

Beloved, actions have consequences. I would be a poor father if I encouraged disobedience by positively reinforcing it with blessing. However, I’m not one who is cruel or vindictive. So resist the urge to see Me as such when experiencing moments of trial.

I delight to bless My children, so if you find yourself in the fires of testing, trust that I AM with you even in their midst. Whether the situation is one of your own making or simply an opportunity for growth, your response to the experience determines the fruit that will come forth.

Even in the most difficult trials, there is blessing to be had. Thus you are to count them all joy (James 1:2), and embrace the opportunities to grow your character when they come knowing you will not be shaken as you rest in Me, for I AM with you through it all.

Psalm 125:1-5 (AMP) Those who trust in and rely on the Lord [with confident expectation] Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not reach out their hands to do wrong. Do good, O Lord, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts. But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways [in unresponsiveness to God], The Lord will lead them away with those who do evil. Peace be upon Israel.

Immanuel (God with Us)

Isaiah 7:14 (VOICE) …The Lord will give you a proof-sign anyway: See, a young maiden will conceive. She will give birth to a son and name Him Immanuel, that is, “God with us.”

Beloved, I AM with you always, for I AM YHVH Shammah – the Lord is present. And as a reminder of My presence, I sent My very own Son to dwell among you: Immanuel – a reminder that I (God) am with you.

Conceived of a virgin – an undeniable miracle that you might clearly see My hand at work, He is a reflection of My love made physically manifest that you might know Me more. My desire is for connection with you. Everything I do is to increase that depth of intimacy, for I love you. Never doubt, that you are Mine, beloved, but also remember I AM yours.

Revelation 4:1 (TLB) Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before, which sounded like a mighty trumpet blast, spoke to me and said, “Come up here…

Beloved, come in and come up higher – you are welcome here. I’m beckoning you in – the heavenly realm awaits. Close your eyes and open your heart. Feel My presence and the rush of life around you. I AM moving – I AM at work. Come and see, beloved. Come and see.

Welcome to My throne room. Be refreshed in the crystal waters as you burn with fiery passion – all to My glory. My presence is thick here. Feel Me. Be present with Me. Step in, beloved. Come in and come up higher – you are welcome here.

The Glory of My Countenance

Numbers 6:25 (AMP) The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor]…

Beloved, look to Me. Set your gaze upon My face, and refuse to be distracted or look away. Let the glory of My countenance radically change who you are and how you think. Become more like Me. Think like Me. Expect mountains to move, like Me.

Be so focused on Me that as I make a way where there seems to be no way, not only are you not surprised, but you take it as a matter of course. For I AM God. Nothing is too hard for Me. I make a way for My children as they walk with Me (or I close the way they should not go). So trust Me, and trust Me to lead, for I AM the Waymaker, and the Maker of heaven and earth. Step into Worship

Psalm 132:7 (VOICE) Let us journey to His dwelling place; let us worship at His footstool.

Beloved, make your dwelling place at the foot of My throne and step into worship. Allow My presence to overtake you, and in it find joy and strength. As My glory surrounds you, be refreshed and be amazed.

For those who draw near to Me, they cannot help but feel My love. It permeates and overtakes – My love can make you whole. So step into worship, and find your place of praise. Make My presence your dwelling place, and be forever changed.

Step Into My Arms

Psalm 121:3 (VOICE) He holds you firmly in place; He will not let you fall. He who keeps you will never take His eyes off you and never drift off to sleep.

Beloved, step into My arms. I will not let you stumble, nor will I let you fall. Hold close to Me as I hold you firmly in My grip. You are protected – you are safe. You are with Me.

Beloved, walk in My grace. Dry your tears, for a new season is upon you. The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and joy is found in My presence (Psalm 16:11). So abide with Me, My fair one, and be refreshed and filled.

Come and Know Me More

Psalm 18:11-12 (TPT) Wrapped and hidden in the thick-cloud darkness, his thunder-tabernacle surrounded him. He hid himself in mystery-darkness; the dense rain clouds were his garments. Suddenly the brilliance of his presence broke through with lightning bolts and with a mighty storm from heaven— like a tempest dropping coals of fire.

Beloved, I cloak Myself in glory and mystery surrounds Me, and yet I beckon you closer and welcome you into My presence. I AM power and authority. My holiness radiates from My presence. Come and know Me – come and know Me more.

Be reverent, but also be bold. Know who I AM, but also understand who you are. Move past any seeming contradictions, and simply choose to know Me. Choose to pursue Me. Be undone in My presence and overcome by the radiance of My glory.
