Let Victory Be Your Song

2 Timothy 1:7 (VOICE) You see, God did not give us a cowardly spirit but a powerful, loving, and disciplined spirit.

Beloved, let My love for you embolden you. Let it fill you with confidence in Me. You walk in victory when you walk with Me. Refuse discouragement. The enemy will always try to distract you with seeming failures and he loves to malign My character, but you know and walk in Truth.

Let victory be your song. Let My joy wrap through your soul filling you with strength. Radiate the assurance of one who knows Me. Be filled with the knowledge of Me and be overwhelmed by My love.

  1. Very timely message for me. I particularly like the wording of the VOICE reminding me that God did not give me a cowardly spirit, but a powerful, lovely, and disciplined spirit. Though I have often read the last part of the verse as “sound mind” these descriptors from the VOICE version speak to me in a new way. Then all of the message following in this blog- where Papa is speaking- goes right to my heart, and the truth of what He is saying catches my attention and begins to grow bigger inside of me as I think on it.
The final phrase of “be overwhelmed by My love” leaps off the screen to me like a secret signature from Papa to me. Years ago, during one of the roughest times in my life, a friend was praying with me when he ended the prayer with this same message: Father, may she not be overcome by fear, but instead, be overwhelmed by Your love. Powerful reversal of concepts and totally true, it was a phrase that was like a light switch in that moment. The idea of being overwhelmed by His love began to open a new door for me. Thank you Papa for this morning’s message. Thank you Meghan for being a vessel, fluid and obedient to share His heart here. ❤️

  2. Thank you! VICTORY has a been a word standing out to me in the last week. I read this and also some thing on Elijah List today called “Don’t Lie Down in the Battlefield”. It also speaks of being so close to victory, the need to resist the enemy’s tactics at causing us to give up, and crying out for the one who loves us and will always come to our rescue. 🙂

    1. Oh I SO hear you! I literally only this year started having a breakthrough in FEELING the love I intellectually knew He was pouring out. Praying for breakthrough for you!!!
