Ardent Devotion

Numbers 25:11 (TPT) Eternal One:  Phinehas (Eleazar’s son and Priest Aaron’s grandson) has done well. He saved the Israelites. Because he was so zealous on My account, tolerating no compromise, I did not consume the people of Israel with My jealousy.

Beloved, I see your passion for Me. Your unreserved willingness to be obedient. Your steadfast intention to walk in integrity and model it for those around you by intentionally setting the bar high and through your very actions challenging them to step up and be their best self.

I do not take your zeal lightly. And though you’ve acted in quiet humility, I will raise you up and showcase you as one who loves Me with their whole heart. So continue to shine brightly, beloved, and know that I recognize and am moved by your ardent devotion.  Continue reading “Ardent Devotion”

Key to the Kingdom: Reflect Me in Unhindered Glory

Colossians 2:10 (VOICE) You, too, are being completed in Him, the One who has dominion over all rule, all authority.

Beloved, remember the One you serve. I AM sovereign. I AM not some powerless, man-crafted idol. I AM the Creator of heaven and earth, the great I AM, the Commander of the hosts of heaven. Those who see Me tremble in awe. And you are on My side, and guided by My hand – acting on My behalf. This is no light calling. It is a weighty responsibility, but one for which you’ve been prepared.

So shine, beloved. Be you without restraint. Allow the embodiment of all I’ve placed within you to radiate forth as you reflect Me in unhindered glory that those who see you might know Me. Let nothing dim your blaze, for simply to shine uncompromised and unashamed is more fearsome warfare than you can imagine – it is a key to the Kingdom.  Continue reading “Key to the Kingdom: Reflect Me in Unhindered Glory”

The Power Source

1 John 1:5 (AMP) This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection].

Beloved, I AM El Ori, God your Light, and surely you must know the innate power light embodies. Light when harnessed can start fires or form a laser to create a tool both precise and powerful. Light illuminates. It brings truth. It mandates its atmosphere. Light controls the darkness, not the other way around.

What can darkness do? It can distort and lie, but it has no real power. It has only as much power as the lack of light allows. And you are called to be a light – to reflect Me. So shine brightly. Don’t concern yourself with the darkness, but rather focus on the Source you are reflecting, for that is where the power comes from. So make room for the Power Source and reflect Me brightly.

Sweet Fruit of Forgiveness

Matthew 18:22 (VOICE) Jesus: You must forgive not seven times, but seventy times seven.

Beloved, I have called you to choose forgiveness. No offense against you is so great it is worthy of holding on to and creating separation from Me. Forgive as you have been forgiven. There is no need to hold offense when I AM your champion.

Release injustices and unkind words and acts into My hands and trust Me to be the Righteous Judge I AM. Entrusting them to Me doesn’t mean what has been done is acceptable, it simply means you’re entrusting to My judgment the most appropriate means of addressing it. So release it to Me and leave it in My capable hands and let the sweet fruit of forgiveness ripen.

Drown in My Affections

Song of Songs 1:2 (TPT) Let him smother me with kisses—his Spirit-kiss divine. So kind are your caresses, I drink them in like the sweetest wine!

Beloved, receive My fresh flow from heaven. For I AM pouring out My love like the sweetest of wine to minister to your heart. Heady and intoxicating – be swept away in the rushing flow as you surrender to My love.

Persistent and irresistible, yield to My heart, beloved. You have nothing to fear from Me, for I love you with a passionate intensity beyond your wildest imaginings. You are the apple of My eye and immeasurably precious to Me. Drown in My affections and be made whole.

Lead with a Life of Unashamed Worship

Exodus 15:20 (GW) Then the prophet Miriam, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand. All the women, dancing with tambourines, followed her.

Beloved, where you lead, others will follow, so be intentional about the example you set. Steer others towards what is good and help them be their best selves by first doing the same. Lay a path for others to follow, then lead them straight to Me.

Make your praises loud, and dance before your King. Live a life filled with praise to the One who is worthy, for such a life is one that is never wasted and always bears good fruit. So worship unashamed, beloved, and make Me the center of your world.

Hold Fast and Give Thanks

Psalm 34:1 (VOICE) I will praise the Eternal in every moment through every situation. Whenever I speak, my words will always praise Him.

Beloved, choose to stay in a place of praise at all times, not simply because I AM worthy, but also because doing so maintains your focus on what is good and perfect and true. Dayenu (it would have been sufficient). The blessings received so far are worth giving thanks for so refuse to be tempted to bitterness or anger.

Resist the urge to allow grief or frustration to overwhelm you, instead fixing your gaze on the truth that in all things I AM both good and sovereign. I bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning. Beloved, I AM enough.  Rest in Me and trust that I AM working all things for good even in the moments that doesn’t seem possible – because still it is true. Hold fast and give thanks that I AM good.  Continue reading “Hold Fast and Give Thanks”

Fields of Glory

Psalm 96:6 (TPT) Breathtaking brilliance and awe-inspiring majesty radiate from his shining presence. His stunning beauty overwhelms all who come before him.

Beloved, abide in My presence. Be overcome by My glory. Allow the beauty of My majesty to stir within you greatness and inspiration. Let My anointing drip down like rain from heaven over you – saturating and bringing life.

Reflect Me, precious one. You are made in My image. My children stand like fields of glory reflecting My face and bearing My name. Refuse to hold back. Choose to be who I made you to be, for you are lovely beyond description and Mine forevermore.

Stay the Course

Psalm 30:5 (VOICE) His wrath, you see, is fleeting, but His grace lasts a lifetime. The deepest pains may linger through the night, but joy greets the soul with the smile of morning.

Beloved, though the seasons of labor may seem endless, and the tears of hardship feel overwhelming, rest in the truth that your labor is not in vain. Stay the course with tenacious intention, and wait in steadfast expectancy for the harvest to come bringing with it much rejoicing.

Allow the stretching seasons of waiting to mold and shape your character. Stand on the promises you know to be truth and refuse to be moved. My grace is sufficient, beloved, and it is everlasting. I AM with you in both the trials and the joy, know that each season carries its own blessing and receive each one with joy.

Hover in My Presence

Psalm 91:1 (TPT) When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.

Beloved, hover in My presence. Rest under My covering. In Me will you find peace. In Me will you find healing. And in Me will you find joy, safety, and so much more. So rest in Me, refusing to be drawn away.

Beloved, the choice is yours: to hover close or to step out from under My wings. Be mindful of the consequences of both and be intentional to choose wisely. I will not force you to seek My presence and protection, but I long to lavish you with it. I never grow tired of you or weary of your needs.

So tarry with Me, be intentional to stay close. Just as a child might cling to a parent for a feeling of safety, so you should remain with Me – your heart ever tarrying, clinging tightly to Me because in Me you find your hope and your refuge. Find your strength in Me.
