Beyond Measure

Psalm 46:10 (NASB) Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Beloved, cease striving. You don’t need to earn My love. It is freely given; and it is given in more abundance than you could begin to imagine. So freely receive, knowing that I love you beyond measure. My heart is steadfast toward you. My love is everlasting.

So function from a place of acceptance – knowing My love is yours. Nothing you do can earn more of My love, nor can any mistake cause you to lose it. I’m not fickle, nor am I easily distracted. My gaze is on you. My heart is fixed on you. So be saturated in My immeasurable love, and from that place be transformed. Continue reading “Beyond Measure”

Allow My Hope to Satisfy

Romans 5:5 (VOICE) And hope will never fail to satisfy our deepest need because the Holy Spirit that was given to us has flooded our hearts with God’s love.

Beloved, allow My hope to satisfy the deepest cravings of your heart. I AM intensely aware of your longings. As you choose to delight in Me, My Spirit will be at work in your heart. And those longings will be satisfied – either in their fulfillment or simply because your longings will change as you are transformed by My Spirit.

So embrace Me. Allow the rushing waves of My love to wash over you. No trial or trick of the enemy can keep you from My love. Prepare to Be Amazed

1 Corinthians 2:7 (VOICE) But we do impart God’s mysterious and hidden wisdom. Before the ages began, God graciously decided to use His wisdom for our glory.

Beloved, you have no idea the scope of what I have for you – greater than the depth of the sea and higher than the height of the heavens, so great is My love for you. The mysteries I have in store for you know no bounds – will you search them out with Me? Open your heart and come explore. Allow Me to be glorified in you. Allow Me to stretch your natural mind and reveal to you the things of the supernatural.

Be open, beloved. There is so much more for you to receive – if you are willing. Engage in this journey with Me. This is an active prospect, not a passive one. You don’t get to sit back and wait for Me to load you up with the gems of heaven. This treasure hunt requires your full participation. So take My hand and come away with Me as we explore together. Be Swept Away in a Romance with Me

Psalm 45:11 (VOICE) Because the king yearns for your beauty, humble yourself before him, for he is now your lord.

Beloved, no words could begin to express the depth of My love. I yearn for you with a fervor that cannot be quenched. If you hunger and thirst for Me, it does not leave Me simply lavishing in your love. Rather that passion of feeling might begin to match the intensity of Mine. 

Refuse to hold back. Refuse to guard your heart with Me. Glory in the fullness of a love affair with Me. Then watch as it bears fruit – both the loving and the receiving of love acting as powerful life- and atmosphere-changers. Exulting in Your Love {Moments with God}

{my heart whispers} You overwhelm me with your love. And yet I cannot get enough. A thousand heart-kisses and I’m still longing for more. How can I do anything but rejoice in You and give thanks for all You are? Your glory is beyond my comprehension, and your grace fills me with hope. I can never get enough. Thankfully, Your abundant love knows no bounds. How rich and sweet is the flavor of your love. 

{with conviction I share} So yes, I will exult in You and in the glorious hope You bring. You are far more worthy than any offering I can give, and yet what I present is enough. You’ve deemed me enough – as unfathomable as that seems. I am your choice, and I will not try to convince you otherwise. Instead, I will strive to make my heart believe (and receive) that which you’ve richly bestowed upon me. 

{with humble reverence I add} Thank You. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for choosing me. Thank You for making me Your own.

Song of Songs 1:2-4 (TPT) Let him smother me with kisses—his Spirit-kiss divine. So kind are your caresses, I drink them in like the sweetest wine! Your presence releases a fragrance so pleasing— over and over poured out. For your lovely name is “Flowing Oil.” No wonder the brides-to-be adore you. Draw me into your heart. We will run away together into the king’s cloud-filled chamber. We will remember your love, rejoicing and delighting in you, celebrating your every kiss as better than wine. No wonder righteousness adores you!

Love Freely and Lavishly Bestowed {Moments with God}

{He whispers} My beloved, I delight in you. You’ve captured My gaze and hold Me enthralled.

{I hide my face} I’m unworthy. How can I be the one You choose?

{Gently He responds} Don’t hide your face from Me, beloved. This isn’t about worth or lack there of, this is the gift of My love – freely and lavishly bestowed on the one I have chosen. Simply receive. 

{Eyes filled with wonder I respond} I don’t know how. How can I receive something I feel incapable of deserving? It feels like too much. 

{With a kind smile He replies} It serves no purpose to reject it. It simply wastes the gift being given. Like a cool glass of water on a hot day, leaving it sitting in the glass to evaporate won’t quench your thirst nor will it benefit anyone else, and it wastes the effort of having retrieved it. So open your heart and let My love overflow and refresh. Let it bring healing to the dry and cracked places in your heart. I AM beholding you, and I find you beautiful. I have called you My own. You are Mine, so receive.

Trust Your Heart to Me

Matthew 6:26 (VOICE) Look at the birds in the sky. They do not store food for winter. They don’t plant gardens. They do not sow or reap—and yet, they are always fed because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are even more precious to Him than a beautiful bird. If He looks after them, of course He will look after you.

Beloved, My tender care is apparent for all to see, and you are precious to Me. I never miss a thing – I AM mindful of details – nothing is beneath My notice. Will you receive from Me? Extend your hand, beloved, and accept what I have for you – even if it isn’t what you expected or hoped for. Trust in Me and in My goodness.

My thoughts toward you are good thoughts, so while you may not understand My actions, you can rest in the knowledge I AM good. I AM faithful and unerringly careful with your heart. Trust it in My capable hands.

Be Saturated

Isaiah 58:11 (VOICE) The Eternal One will never leave you; He will lead you in the way that you should go. When you feel dried up and worthless, God will nourish you and give you strength. And you will grow like a garden lovingly tended; you will be like a spring whose water never runs out.

Beloved, let My love wash over you and soothe the broken, dry places. Be saturated in My presence – no longer dry and brittle, but supple and flexible. I AM the potter and you are the clay. When clay becomes dry and difficult to work with, water makes it pliable and easy to mold. 

So be saturated by My Spirit. Become fully yielded in My hands. In the same way dried clay can be broken, but supple, wet clay simply adapts and changes shape, so I have created you to flourish regardless of what comes your way. Love Without Reservation

Revelation 22:12 (AMP) “Behold, I (Jesus) am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to the merit of his deeds (earthly works, faithfulness).

Beloved, lay up rewards in heaven. In comparison to eternity, life on earth is but a wisp – the blink of an eye. And yet so much time and focus is put on needs and comforts in this earthly realm. Be intentional to be mindful of both. 

Make choices based on eternity. Love is what will remain, so love well. Resist the urge to hold back or protect your heart, but rather trust Me to protect it, or heal it when you’re hurt. Take those moments of injury as opportunities to identify with My heart, which has been betrayed, falsely accused, and deeply wounded too. 

Love like Me – without reservation. My love is sacrificial, and it is limitless. There are no conditions to My love, and yet love does not facilitate actions that harm their recipient. Seek My heart that you might learn to best reflect Me.

Embrace the Things of Heaven

Proverbs 3:5 (VOICE) Place your trust in the Eternal; rely on Him completely; never depend upon your own ideas and inventions.

Beloved, spread wide your arms and trust in Me. Take your hands off your circumstances and throw your head back and give praise to the One who is worthy. Know that I have you covered, so release it all to Me. 

I AM all you need. Let Me lift you in My love, and strengthen you by My Spirit. Let me give you true vision, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear can see and know the things not of the earthly realm. Embrace the things of heaven, and trust in Me.
