Rest and Know You Are Mine

Psalm 68:6 (NLT) God places the lonely in families…

Beloved, you are not alone. I AM with you and I will never leave you. Though there may be times your earthly family lets you down, I will never leave you or forsake you. I have chosen you and will never let you go.

I hold you close in your times of need, and I send others to be a blessing on My behalf. Beloved, embrace those I put in your life. Allow those divine connections to nurture your spirit and build you up. Allow them to reflect My heart to you and speak life over you. Allow them to clearly reflect back to you the truth of who you are rather than a distorted perception.

But even in these special friendships that are a gift from Me, remember that though they may reflect Me and act on My behalf, they are not Me and cannot act as a replacement. I work through them, but ultimately the love you seek is found in Me.

I know the truth about you and believe it unwaveringly. I know that you are precious, you are worth knowing, and you are worth loving. You are beautiful, cherished, and My heart for you is steadfast. But most of all, I have claimed you and called you My own. So, beloved, rest and know that you are Mine.

Naked and Unashamed

Hebrews 4:13 (NLT) Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

Beloved, nothing is hidden from My sight. Everything is clear for Me to see – not just every action and word, but also every intention and thought. And yet I love you. And yet it was My pleasure to send My Son to die that you might be set free.

Be naked and unashamed. Trust My Word and My Spirit to bring to light the areas to work on (and in My timing), and allow yourself to receive My love in all your imperfections.

It is not for you to decide if you are worthy to receive My love, but rather it is up to Me to decide if I choose to give it. And I do. I choose you – imperfections and all. I love you.

Bold Expectancy

Psalm 55:2 (CSB) Pay attention to me and answer me. I am restless and in turmoil with my complaint,

Beloved, David was a man after my own heart, and he was unafraid to express his needs and desires. Asking for My attention isn’t arrogant in My eyes, nor do I see it as presumptuous. Just like a child with loving parents has no hesitation yanking on his father’s arm and demanding attention, so should you approach Me with bold expectancy.

Expect that you are important enough for Me to give you My time. Because you are. Expect that I want you to come to Me – regardless of the reason. Because I do. You are My precious child, and for us to have true intimacy there must be an expectation of good – a trust that I will respond and a deep seated knowledge that you are precious to Me.

So believe with all your heart, beloved. Approach boldly, and do so with expectation. I AM here. I AM willing. And I AM waiting.

I Will Always Receive You

Luke 15:21 (VOICE) The son said, “Father, I have done a terrible wrong in God’s sight and in your sight too. I have forfeited any right to be treated as your son.”

Beloved, no matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, when you run to Me, I will receive you. There is nothing you can do that would cause Me to turn My back when you approach Me with a contrite heart filled with repentance. You are Mine and I love you.

You are not too dirty for Me, nor too messy. I haven’t given up hope on you. I never stop cheering you on. Refuse to allow yourself to believe that anything could cause Me to demote you to a position of lower standing in My heart. You are My beloved and I AM faithful until the end.

Closer Still

Psalm 55:1 (TPT) God, listen to my prayer! Don’t hide your heart from me when I cry out to you!

Beloved, I hear you. Your heart and thoughts are precious to Me. You don’t need to fight for My attention, you have it. My gaze is fixed on you. I can’t get enough. What matters to you, matters to Me.

So cry out knowing I AM listening. Cry out knowing I AM there with you. Pour out your thoughts and fears, your heart and tears, I want it all – the fullness of you.

Then listen, beloved, for My whispered words as I share My heart with you. As you give Me your heart, I hold Mine there for you beckoning you closer still. So come, beloved, come. Closer still.

El Roi (the God Who Sees)

Genesis 16:13 (CSB) So she named the LORD who spoke to her: “You are El-roi,” for she said, “In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me?”

Beloved, I see you. I AM the God who sees. Nothing is beyond My notice. In the depths of despair or deepest wounding, I AM by your side. I see, and I hurt with you. My love for you is beyond measure. In moments you have been wronged, I see, and I will hold you and strengthen you. Forgive, and trust Me to deal with the situations that cause pain or frustration and the people connected to them.

Bring your heart to Me. Share your heart – with all its hurt – with Me. Let Me share in these moments with you. Remember that I have been hurt and I have been wronged. I have been accused and misunderstood. I see you, beloved, and I understand. I AM with you always. Surrender to My love. Continue reading “El Roi (the God Who Sees)”

The Beauty of Being Known

Psalm 139:14 (NIV) I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Beloved, I know you. I know every single detail, every nuance of who you are, you are precious to Me. I created you with intention and purpose. Everything about you and every thought you have matters to Me. You are seen by Me and you are known.

This is the beauty of being known. I take you very seriously. I don’t find you or your feelings silly or ridiculous. I know the root and intention behind each one. Truly it matters not if anyone else “gets” you, I do. And I find you worth knowing. Bask in My love and understanding of you.

Never Forget Who You Are

1 Peter 2:9 (TPT) But you are God’s chosen treasure —priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own.

Beloved, never forget who you are and who you’re called to be. You are Mine. Called to be in My presence, to boldly approach My throne of grace. Called to minister at My feet, to pour out your life as a sweet offering to Me.

I receive you. You are acceptable in My sight. Lovely and beautiful, radiant for Me. I see you. You shine so brightly, beloved. Your face reflects My glory as you stay close to Me. Dwell in this place. Continue reading “Never Forget Who You Are”

Be a Radiant Reflection

1 John 1:1-7 (TPT) …We testify to this truth: the eternal Life-Giver lived face-to-face with the Father and has now dawned upon us…

Beloved, let your life and your mouth testify to the truth of who I AM. Shine before men – a radiant reflection of My glory – that those who know you might know Me. Be mindful that your words and actions align with My heart.

Do nothing to intentionally diminish the evidence of My hand in your life. There will always be those offended by Me. Remember when the world rejects you, they first rejected Me. Walk in the truth that I have accepted you and in the end that is all that matters. Continue reading “Be a Radiant Reflection”

Embrace Your Uniqueness

Psalm 139:14 (TPT) I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.

Beloved, resist the urge to compare yourself to others, for you have been uniquely made and if you use others as your guideposts, you will likely take yourself off track from My perfect will. Refuse to hold others up as the ideal to be achieved – only My Son should have that honor.

Instead seek Me, ask Me how you should live and who you should be. Beloved, your Creator knows you intimately, and I love every part of how I made you. You truly are fearfully and wonderfully made.

So own it. Embrace your unique makeup. You are a gift, created with intentionality and a purpose. Resist the urge to withhold that gift by hiding who you are. Refuse to believe the lie that different is somehow “wrong” and trust that I know what I’m doing. Beloved, you are beautiful and so loved. You are worth knowing. Shine without shame.
