Keep Your Mind Fixed on Me

Exodus 28:36 (KJV) And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.

Beloved, keep your mind fixed on Me and My ways. Meditate on My word and let it so saturate who you are that your thoughts and deeds align with it without hesitation. Be so firmly rooted in My thoughts, that no suggestion that is in opposition – whether it be from human or spiritual origin – leads you astray.

Reject that which is not of Me and that which I declare evil. Refuse to give it place in your life. For beloved, the enemy will exploit any and every toehold he is granted, so refuse to give him access to torment you. Resist the devil and he will flee. Stand fast in truth, taking every thought captive, and offering holiness unto Me. Continue reading “Keep Your Mind Fixed on Me”

Mighty in Me

2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV) For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

Beloved, be not defenseless in the face of your enemy, but rather having donned your armor, cling to your shield of faith and wield your sword of truth. For I have equipped you to withstand the onslaught of the enemy of your soul.

And yet, just as one would not attempt a marathon never having trained, be mindful to exercise your faith at all times to be prepared for the times of turmoil which will surely come. I AM with you to strengthen you. Do your part, for I have not left you helpless or defenseless, but mighty in Me.

Walk in the Fullness of Freedom

2 Corinthians 3:17 (ESV) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Beloved, refuse to remain in bondage in any area. Allow nothing to have undue hold over you and the ability to influence you beyond what it wise and good. Ask Me for wisdom to find every toehold so that each and every one can be eradicated.

The price for your freedom has already been paid. Choose to walk in the fullness of that liberty so you might be all I’ve created and called you to be. Refuse to settle. Refuse to be content with mostly free and be complacent about walking out the rest of your freedom. The cost has been paid, and beloved, it is worth the effort.

I Love a Cheerful Giver

1 John 3:17 (TLB) But if someone who is supposed to be a Christian has money enough to live well, and sees a brother in need, and won’t help him—how can God’s love be within him?

Beloved, give generously as I give generously to you. Focus on the blessings you have with gratitude rather than allowing the enemy to distract you with insatiable desires for all you don’t. I supply for every need. I delight in blessing My children.

So sow as you would reap. Live with an open hand allowing Me to move through you to bless others just as I bless you through those around you. Refuse to operate from a poverty mindset. Rejoice in your ability to bless others regardless of whether it is something great or small. A heart of obedience is beautiful and I love a cheerful giver. Bringing Forth the Good

2 Corinthians 12:7 (AMP) Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me—to keep me from exalting myself!

Beloved, do not think for one moment that I will not allow you to walk through trials – even in the natural, children who are indulged and overprotected become spoiled and entitled – so I will allow trials to mold character in your life and I do this for your own benefit. What I promise you is that I will be with you through them all, I will never give you more than you can handle (with Me), and I will use them all for good.

So as you find yourself in the midst of trials, look for Me there. Seek Me and ask Me what I AM working in the midst of it to grow and bless. Trust that My heart toward you is good and My plans for you are good. Refuse to allow that perspective to waver. The enemy will whisper lies to you about My character, refuse to listen and cling to Me all the more. I will never leave you or forsake you, so stand fast and allow Me to bring forth the good. Covenant Strength Shining Through You

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP) but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.

Beloved, don’t be tempted to see your weaknesses as flaws or shortcomings, but rather as areas for My strength to shine through you. My grace is sufficient. Refuse to be tempted into pride by wanting to be seen as “capable,” but rather seek to be known for being completely reliant on Me. That is a legacy worth having.

Boast in Me and in My power for I AM more than enough and delight in showing who I AM. You need not fight or argue or scramble for Me to be faithful, for My covenant with you extends generation to generation of those who love Me. Let Me be made large in you.

Do Not Fear Temptation

Matthew 4:1 (TLB) Then Jesus was led out into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, to be tempted there by Satan.

Beloved, do not be afraid of temptation, for I will not give you more than you can handle. For I AM with you – beside you – here to strengthen you when you reach for me. I will always provide a means of escape. No trap set by the enemy to ensnare you is without a means of deliverance.

Change your point of view. Embrace each temptation as an opportunity to build strength, your inner fortitude. See each one as an opportunity to find your strength by relying more heavily on Me that in your weakness My power might be made perfect. My grace is sufficient, beloved. Rest and rely on Me.  Stand Fast

2 Corinthians 10:5 (AMP) We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

Beloved, stand fast. You know Me. When someone tells lies about you to your loved ones, what response do you desire them to have? Tuck tail and buy into the lies? Or stand fast and refuse to be moved; to know you so well that nothing can shake what they know to be true?

Beloved, that is what I desire too. For My children to know Me so well that they won’t attack My character when the lies and whispers of the enemy come, but rather that their vision of who I AM be immovable. Firmly rooted in the Truth. Unshakable. No lie can distort. No circumstance discourage. That you all might know who I AM. That I AM good. I AM for you and not against you. That I AM righteous and merciful. I AM love. And you are Mine.

Essential Faithfulness and Truth

Psalm 89:8 (AMPC) O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You [an essential part of You at all times].

Beloved, My faithfulness surrounds Me. It is evident in everything I do and everything I AM. Those who know Me (truly know Me), know I AM faithful, always mindful of My word – watching over it to be certain it comes to pass. I speak only truth for I AM truth. My promises are affirmed – a certainty – bringing forth a resounding “Amen” (So be it)! Thus My character is unimpeachable, sterling, true.

So let your yes be yes and your no be no. Reflect My character, walking in your own faith and faithfulness. May your mouth speak only truth, and may your heart reflect on that which is good and faithful. Be like Me, for you are made in My image. May your integrity be an essential part of who you are and how you are known, that you may be more like Me thus bringing Me glory. Continue reading “Essential Faithfulness and Truth”

A Slave to Bondage No More

2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMPC) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).

Beloved, My Spirit brings freedom. Receiving Me is receiving My Spirit. You are a slave to bondage no more. My Spirit lives within you. The traps of the enemy cannot hold you as you surrender yourself to Me. Let My Spirit lead and guide you. Be sensitive to My flow. I will direct you, I will teach you, and I will convict you. Trust Me to lead you rightly (and trust Me to lead others rightly as they surrender to Me too).

I can open the door to your cage, but I cannot force you to fly. You must choose to fly free. I have made a way, but you must walk it out. Beloved, soar with Me. You’ve been released – the chains broken – don’t believe the enemy’s lies that you are still his hostage. The blood has paid the price, you need not try to pay it again – it is already covered – simply move in the freedom that came at so high a cost.
