Wait and Trust

Psalm 126:5 (VOICE) Those who walk the fields to sow, casting their seed in tears, will one day tread those same long rows, amazed by what’s appeared.

Beloved, though the days and nights of trial feel endless, stand fast and cling to hope. For in a time not too far off, you will stand amazed by the beauty that lies where the ashes once were. For I bring forth life from death, just as a seed – dry and dormant – is sown and brings forth fruit. 

So wait and trust. Resist the urge to battle and rage, and instead look to Me in the midst of your storm. Find My gaze and hold it. Just as keeping your eyes on the horizon calms sea sickness, so holding My gaze will steady you in the midst of turmoil. So cling to Me and the hope of who I AM. Trust and wait, beloved. I AM Good

Psalm 56:10 (TPT) I trust in the Lord. And I praise him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise him!

Beloved, in the midst of trials, hold fast to that which you know is true: I AM good. That fact remains unchanging. Difficulties are not a sign that I’m cruel or uncaring. Hardships are simply a part of life. 

But I AM with you always. I stand by you – to comfort and to guide you – in good times and in bad. Trust in Me. Resist the urge to blame or accuse Me, for I AM loving and I AM good. And I will bring forth beauty from ashes, so wait for it and rest in Me.

I’m Safe in Your Arms

{Pausing in His presence, I feel His arms enclose around me as I say} Papa, I know that I’m safe in Your arms. You – Olam Zerowa, the Everlasting Arms, hold me tightly. You keep me firmly sheltered in Your loving grip. Thank You for the comfort You bring. 

{I feel His cheek rest on the top of my head as I nestle in like a child. He whispers} You are My beloved – so precious to Me. I call you Mine, for you are My very own. 

{And as His arms close ever so slightly in a gentle squeeze He adds} You are safe with Me. I watch over you, and even My angels guard over you. Rest in My arms. Stay in My embrace. Know that you are seen, and you are loved, for you are Mine and I love you.

Psalm 121:5 (TPT) Jehovah himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.

Psalms 65:8 (TPT) O God, to the farthest corners of the planet people will stand in awe, startled and stunned by your signs and wonders. Sunrise brilliance and sunset beauty both take turns singing their songs of joy to you.

Beloved, be amazed by My handiwork. Be amazed by the way I move. I AM awesome and majestic – YHVH Melek Olam, Lord King Forever. All creation sings My praise. The grandeur of heaven and earth display My glory. 

I AM God. I AM sovereign. And I have chosen you. You are My beloved, the apple of My eye. And I AM omnipotent and omnipresent, I care about every detail of your life. Every single care, concern, and need is in My capable hands. Rest and trust in Me.

Attentive for Eternity

Psalm 121:4 (TPT) He will never slumber nor sleep; he is the Guardian-God for his people, Israel.

Beloved, I AM awake day and night. Alert. Not one thing escapes My notice. I hear each prayer and petition, each offering on the altar of praise – day and night, night and day. I do not grow weary of My children, nor do I grow callus to your pleas. You are My heart’s desire, and I’m attentive for eternity. 

Refuse to let your flame grow dim, or to let your passion cool. My love for you is steadfast and ardent, unshakable and true. So as you lift your hands in worship and sing your words of praise, know I receive your sweet offerings – and will do so all My days.

Leviticus 6:13 (VOICE) The fire on the altar must burn continually; it must not be allowed to go out.

Sheltered in My Strong Love

Psalm 36:7 (VOICE) Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings.

Beloved, I wait – with outstretched arms that you might hide in the shadow of My wings. Like a mother bird shelters her chicks, I AM always here to shelter you in My strong love. 

It isn’t a question of whether you are worth protecting or if I’m willing, I AM always ready and waiting for you. So come and rest in Me. Refuse to try to “maintain” in your own strength because I AM here for you, beloved, always. So cast your cares on Me.

Run to Me, and cling fast. I AM ready, willing, and able. I AM your comfort and your place of refuge, so find rest and refreshing in Me. I AM El Tsur – God your strength, so find what you need as you rest in Me.

Zealously Pursuant

Psalm 24: 3-4 (NIV) Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart…

Beloved, who may stand in My holy place? I pray that you would choose to relentlessly pursue Me just as I pursue you. That in doing so, your singleminded devotion to Me encourages you to righteousness – clean hands and a pure heart. 

I do not require perfection, but rather a zealous holy adoration complete with reverence and obedience. For that is truly a love for Me that brings forth life. So be holy as I AM holy. Love Me as I love you. And be as zealously pursuant of Me as I AM of you.

You Are Not Alone

Psalm 62:1 (TPT) I stand silently to listen for the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me. For God alone has become my Savior.

Beloved, you are not alone. Nor do you need to tackle the trials that come by yourself, for I AM with you, and I AM here to comfort you. I AM YHVH Shammah – the Lord who is present, and I AM always here. 

So look to Me, and wait on Me – knowing I meet every need. I AM your help, and the One who saves, so trust in Me. Look to Me with hopeful expectation. Trust Me to navigate, and leave each step to My loving hands.

Experientially Know My Love

Psalm 16:11 (TPT) For you bring me a continual revelation of resurrection life, the path to the bliss that brings me face-to-face with you.

Beloved, meditate on Me. As you press in for more, I AM faithful to bring revelation. For it is My heart’s desire that you might increase your understanding of the things of Me and My Kingdom. I want you to know – fully and experientially know – My life-giving love, that My resurrection power might infiltrate all areas of your life and be manifest for My glory. 

So press in, beloved. Refuse to settle for less. Be like Moses – desire to see Me face-to-face, and watch as My presence changes your very countenance that others may see and know that you know Me. Find joy in My presence and be made whole.

I AM True to You

Psalm 62:2 (TPT) He alone is my safe place; his wrap-around presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?

Beloved, refuse to let the worries and concerns of this present time bury you under a mountain of sadness and regret. You come to Me with a contrite heart, and I AM sovereign. So trust that I AM at work – bringing forth beauty from ashes is My specialty.

So unburden yourself of that which seeks to bring you low. Give it to Me. Then let Me envelope you in My presence that you might know you are never alone. I AM with you, and I AM for you. Regardless of those in your life who may come and go, and regardless of the praise or criticism of man – I AM always steadfast and I AM always true. I AM true to you.
