Embrace the Light

1 Thessalonians 5:5 (VOICE) For you are all children of light. You are sons and daughters of the day. We are not created of night, nor are we owned by darkness.

Beloved, I AM the light and I live within you. Where there is light, no darkness can remain. Nor can light disguise itself as darkness, nor should it want to. So shine brightly, beloved. Be an emissary of light – vibrant and alive – and unafraid of changing the landscape around you. 

There is nothing to fear from light. As you walk in truth, you know it only brings life. So even when things brought to light feel ugly or broken, simply know that the light has not caused it to be that way, but rather the light has refused to allow it to remain hidden. 

For like lancing a wound, sometimes that which is wrong must be completely exposed to begin to bring it to rights. So embrace the truth and the light that brings it. Be not afraid of human reactions, but rather know I AM pleased as you walk as a reflection of Me.

Created with a Purpose

Matthew 5:13 (AMP) You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].

Beloved, you have been created with a purpose for a call. Simply being you – all I’ve created you to be – and yielding to the plans I have for you (which are good plans) demonstrates who I AM. You are created in My image, and created to bear fruit. 

What then is the purpose of an apple tree that bears no fruit? It is purposeless, and though secondary (and lesser) use may be found for it, it is not fulfilling its call. In the same way, refuse to settle for anything less than the fullness of all I’ve created you for. Trust Me to lead, yield to My direction, and bear fruit.

Love and Holiness, the Foundation of Your Passion

Daniel 3:17-18 (VOICE) If you throw us into the blazing furnace, then the God we serve is able to rescue us from a furnace of blazing fire and release us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if He does not, O king, you can be sure that we still will not serve your gods and we will not worship the golden statue you erected.

Beloved, refuse to compromise your faith. You know who I AM, so be steadfast in your belief – never wavering, but rather holding tightly to that which you know to be truth. For My Word has instructed you in truth. It is not subjective, but steadfast. 

I AM love. But I AM also holy. True love clings to that which is good with steadfast devotion. So be holy as I AM holy, and walk in love because I AM love. Let these be the foundation of your passion: love and holiness. For zeal birthed from that place is a force to be reckoned with and a powerful tool for good.

Attentive for Eternity

Psalm 121:4 (TPT) He will never slumber nor sleep; he is the Guardian-God for his people, Israel.

Beloved, I AM awake day and night. Alert. Not one thing escapes My notice. I hear each prayer and petition, each offering on the altar of praise – day and night, night and day. I do not grow weary of My children, nor do I grow callus to your pleas. You are My heart’s desire, and I’m attentive for eternity. 

Refuse to let your flame grow dim, or to let your passion cool. My love for you is steadfast and ardent, unshakable and true. So as you lift your hands in worship and sing your words of praise, know I receive your sweet offerings – and will do so all My days.

Leviticus 6:13 (VOICE) The fire on the altar must burn continually; it must not be allowed to go out.

Made in the Image of Elohim Yakol (God Most Able)

Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.

Beloved, I love you with an everlasting love and My power knows no end. I AM able to do far more than you can ever imagine. I AM Elohim Yakol – God most able, and nothing is too hard for Me. Refuse to limit Me or assume My arm is too short or My authority is not sufficient, for I AM God.

And I have created you in My image, so refuse to short change yourself or indulge in insecurities. For I have made you. I have equipped you. And I have empowered you, so walk in boldness. Remember that you are made in the image of Elohim Yakol, so you are able when you find your strength in Me.

Yielded Vessel

Matthew 26:41 (AMP) Keep actively watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”

Beloved, refuse to allow weakness, distraction, or apathy to keep you from responding to My Spirit’s direction. Knowing that you are susceptible to distraction, be all the more alert for My gentle direction. 

Regardless of the weakness of your flesh, those whose hearts are fixed on Me have willing spirits; therefore, you are more than able to stay ready to respond to My leading. So move past your acknowledgment of weakness, and rather focus on the strength that comes from Me. Then yield, and allow Me to move mightily through My yielded vessel.

My Kingdom is for Eternity

Revelation 22:3 (VOICE) No one or nothing will labor under any curse any longer. And the throne of God and of the Lamb will sit prominently in the city. God’s servants will continually serve and worship Him.

Beloved, the Kingdom of heaven is within, so allow My Kingdom to manifest on earth through you. Walk in the freedom that has been Blood-bought on your behalf, and refuse to live in bondage anymore. 

My Kingdom supersedes that of this world, for My Kingdom is for eternity. Refuse to allow this temporary, natural realm to mandate your life and beliefs simply because you’ve been taught to focus on it. 

Instead focus your gaze on Me and fix your heart on the things of Me. Walk in the truth of My Word. Allow the supernatural to become natural. And bring heaven to earth.

Luke 17:21 (NKJV) “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Love is a Powerful Weapon

Proverbs 15:1 (TPT) Respond gently when you are confronted and you’ll defuse the rage of another. Responding with sharp, cutting words will only make it worse. Don’t you know that being angry can ruin the testimony of even the wisest of men?

Beloved, love is a powerful weapon. Just as a gentle flow of steady water can change the face of stone, so love has the power to change even the hardest of hearts. So love well, and do so without reserve. 

For you have been well equipped. I pour out My love over you – demonstrating My unconditional, limitless love for you each day. As you allow yourself to be saturated in My love, you are equipping yourself to pour it back out as you love others.

Give your love as an offering to Me. Resist the urge to love to gain an earthly response, but rather do it to My glory. Because I AM love. Therefore operating in love means you are flowing in Me. So love well. Love always. Love like Me.

Shine Forth Divine Love

Romans 5:5 (KJV) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Beloved, just as My love is shed abroad in your heart, so share it with the world. Let your love shine – radiating warmth to all those you see. And may your love, which is a reflection of My love, give hope. 

For hope brings peace, and with it comes joy. And in that place of contentment comes a knowledge of Me. So be a luminary, beloved, and shine forth the divine love that heals and changes lives.

Sheltered in My Strong Love

Psalm 36:7 (VOICE) Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings.

Beloved, I wait – with outstretched arms that you might hide in the shadow of My wings. Like a mother bird shelters her chicks, I AM always here to shelter you in My strong love. 

It isn’t a question of whether you are worth protecting or if I’m willing, I AM always ready and waiting for you. So come and rest in Me. Refuse to try to “maintain” in your own strength because I AM here for you, beloved, always. So cast your cares on Me.

Run to Me, and cling fast. I AM ready, willing, and able. I AM your comfort and your place of refuge, so find rest and refreshing in Me. I AM El Tsur – God your strength, so find what you need as you rest in Me.
