A Warrior of Peace

Ephesians 6:15 (TPT) Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

Beloved, I AM YHVH Shalom – the Lord your peace. But peace that comes from Me is no passive, fragile thing. My peace is a force to be reckoned with. My peace isn’t powerless in the face of turbulence or chaos, for My peace wars against it.

And beloved, you have been given My peace and are called to walk in it. This includes taking territory for Me. You are an atmosphere changer. You restore My peace everywhere your feet may land. You are a warrior of peace – doing battle against the confusion of the enemy simply by being who I have made you. So walk in peace you have been given.

Powerful Weapons

2 Corinthians 10:4 (AMP) The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Beloved, the things of My Kingdom rarely make sense to the natural mind. From a human perspective, brute force seems like strength, while tenderness and compassion can seem weak and powerless. But from a spiritual perspective, love and compassion are two of the most powerful weapons you can wield.

So resist the urge to assume you are weaponless and ineffective, for that is simply a lie from the pit of hell. You have more than enough assets on hand with which to wage effective warfare. So use them well. Love well. Walk in truth. Be righteous. Stand in faith. And in all, know that I AM with you and working in and through you.

Sow in Tears, Reap in Joy

Psalm 56:8 (VOICE) You have taken note of my journey through life, caught each of my tears in Your bottle. But God, are they not also blots on Your book?

Beloved, My precious one, nothing about you or concerning you is below My notice. Each moment of heartbreak has My heart echoing your cry. I feel your pain deeply. So precious is each tear that I collect each and every one.

But, beloved, remember that I bring forth beauty from ashes. I AM the God who turns mourning into dancing. So rest in the knowledge that though you may sow in tears, you will reap in joy. Hold fast to Me, beloved, and trust Me to make it so.  Continue reading “Sow in Tears, Reap in Joy”

Strengthened and Made Whole

Psalm 51:17 (NKJV) The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise.

Beloved, when you come to Me with all your precious, broken pieces, I make you whole. So resist the urge to continue seeing yourself as somehow less than what you are, for you are no longer the same. You have changed. By My Spirit you are strengthened and made whole.

And as you submit your yielded heart to Me, that is an offering most pleasing. And then together, My beloved one, we can be a force as you move in My strength and authority on behalf of the Kingdom. Know who you are in Me.

Be Steadfast in Your Walk

Psalm 37:24 (VOICE) And even though you trip up, you will not fall on your face because He holds you by the hand.

Beloved, you have changed. You’re not the same. Behold, you are a new creature – transformed by grace. Refuse to revisit your old ways or stay stuck in the ruts of your old paths. I have made all things new, and that includes you.

Like a baby colt stumbles as it catches its footing when it is newborn, extend grace to yourself as you stumble and trip – that is par for the course. The key is to keep getting your footing – to take the time for it to become steadfast and sure.

And just as you need that grace for your own growing season, extend it also to others. To expect perfection – either from yourself or others – is pointless and unrealistic. The key is to shake off the stumbles and keep pressing onward. Refuse to go back to old ways that are familiar but unprofitable. Be steadfast in your walk, and encourage others to be steadfast in theirs.

Step Boldly Forth

Philippians 4:13 (TPT) And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.

Beloved, is anything beyond My strength to accomplish? So why then would you doubt your own ability to achieve when empowered by Me? Am I not strong enough or capable enough to equip and strengthen you for that which I’ve called you to?

Indeed, step boldly forth into the plans I have for you. I have prepared for each step along the way and I AM with you to strengthen you. Nothing is truly unknown when you walk with Me, because although the circumstances may be unfamiliar, I‘m not. I AM your God, and I AM with you always. So step out in faith with your hand gripped in Mine. I AM all in all. Continue reading “Step Boldly Forth”

Nothing is Too Hard for Me

Psalm 126:3 (VOICE) We shook our heads. All of us were stunned— the Eternal has done remarkable things for us. We were beyond happy, beyond joyful.

Beloved, I AM El Shaddai – God Almighty, and nothing is too hard for Me. So when the tears and rain may come, know that no situation or circumstance is beyond My ability to bring forth good. So wait, watch, and trust in Me.

I AM faithful from generation to generation, and with Me nothing is impossible. I AM true to My word – I keep My promises. Be ready and expectant. Stand fast in hope. Know that I can and will move. And though it may not be in the way you expect, trust Me to be working all things for good. For I AM God. Continue reading “Nothing is Too Hard for Me”

Embrace the Season

Psalm 126:6 (VOICE) Those who weep as they walk and plant with sighs Will return singing with joy, when they bring home the harvest.

Beloved, for all things there is a season. A time to mourn and a time to rejoice. Resist the urge to fight the season you’re in. If it is a time to cry, allow yourself the grace to do so knowing that a time for joy will be just around the bend.

And beloved, once the time for joy has come, release your garments of mourning and choose to step into the new day. Know that grief and joy are a part of life, and there is much to learn from both. Embrace the season you are in, and learn what you can from it.

Remember that contrast is a part of life. Darkness contrasts the radiance of the light, just as the pain of sorrow contrasts the sweetness of joy. Allow each season and all the contrasts that paint the story of your life to be what they are – in all their bold beauty, just as you are loved and embraced in all your strengths and weaknesses as the beautiful creation you are. And trust that I AM at work for good in it all.  Continue reading “Embrace the Season”

Wait and Trust

Psalm 126:5 (VOICE) Those who walk the fields to sow, casting their seed in tears, will one day tread those same long rows, amazed by what’s appeared.

Beloved, though the days and nights of trial feel endless, stand fast and cling to hope. For in a time not too far off, you will stand amazed by the beauty that lies where the ashes once were. For I bring forth life from death, just as a seed – dry and dormant – is sown and brings forth fruit.

So wait and trust. Resist the urge to battle and rage, and instead look to Me in the midst of your storm. Find My gaze and hold it. Just as keeping your eyes on the horizon calms sea sickness, so holding My gaze will steady you in the midst of turmoil. So cling to Me and the hope of who I AM. Trust and wait, beloved. Wait and trust.  Continue reading “Wait and Trust”

Emissaries of Heaven

Mark 16:20 (VOICE) The disciples went out proclaiming the good news; and the risen Lord continued working through them, confirming every word they spoke with the signs He performed through them.]

Beloved, expect manifestations of My power. For what is the point of praying for the miraculous if you aren’t fully persuaded that the One you beseech is more than able to do “abundantly above all you could ask or think”? Choose to know Me, and choose to believe.

Walk in the full authority and power of the One who has sent you: Me. You are the emissaries of heaven. Yielded and willing vessels – created to usher the supernatural into the natural realm because you know who I AM and you believe. So stand and speak in faith, and watch Me move.
