Flow as One

Ephesians 4:3 (AMP) Make every effort to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the bond of peace [each individual working together to make the whole successful].

Beloved, flow as one, for you are one. The Body of Christ. One body. United in purpose: bringing glory and honor to Me. Refuse to be distracted by personal agendas and selfish goals or motivations. Stay focused on Me – My plans, My direction, My kingdom.

Just as a physical body works together to keep the air that maintains life flowing through the body, work together as one to allow the flow of My Spirit throughout the Body of Christ – My breath invigorating and quickening.

Slow to Speak and Slow to Anger

Psalm 106:33 (AMP) Because they were rebellious against His Spirit, Moses spoke recklessly with his lips.

Beloved, be not riled. Rather hold your tongue and refuse to be provoked – even on My behalf. There are consequences to every word that falls from your lips; therefore, guard them carefully. Refuse to be baited into fruitless arguments or allow petty bickering to incite you to stoop to its level.

Walk in humility and wisdom, being slow to speak and slow to anger. Weigh each word and seek My Spirit’s counsel, for I AM the only one who fully knows the inner workings of men’s hearts, so ask Me for instruction on what to say and when to say it, and I will advise you with true wisdom that brings harmony. Stronger Together

1 Corinthians 12:12 (VOICE) Just as a body is one whole made up of many different parts, and all the different parts comprise the one body, so it is with the Anointed One.

Beloved, be one as I AM One. Whole, but unique. Individual, but connected. Separate, but the same. An eye can see much, but without the legs to take it places and the brain to process its vision, it is without greater purpose. In the same way, remember you are stronger and more effective together.

And in the same way an eye, an ear, and a nose process the same situation differently, understand that your unique perspective may seem foreign to some. So extend grace and patiently educate, helping others to understand what is different from them just as you should seek to do for things that are unusual to you.

Care for Your Body

1 Corinthians 12:25 (KJV) That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.

Care for your Body, beloved. Whether you realize it or not, when one of you hurts, the whole is effected. Pause to minister. Pause to tend. Give help where help is needed. You are to be known by your love, and you are called to love like Me.

Be intentional to give grace. Be intentional to operate with patience. Be intentional to reject offense. Walk in love. Walk in unity. Walk in peace. Cultivate that which is good. Care for and strengthen the Body, for it is your Body, beloved, and well worth the effort. Continue reading “Care for Your Body”

Sacrificial Love

John 15:13 (NIV) Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Beloved, true love means sacrifice. The cost is high to give. And the higher the cost, the more difficult it can be to receive – to feel worthy of such a sacrifice. But, beloved, to focus on your worth is asking the wrong question. The question is: what will you do with what you have been given?

Respond in gratitude. Respond in power. Rather than asking if you are worthy of such a sacrifice, live in a way that is worthy. Choose to receive the blessing and walk in the fullness – not in arrogance, but rather an honored humility.

Humble and Yielded

Psalm 149:4 (TPT) For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty and he loves to give them the victory.

Beloved, I delight to bring victory to those who rejoice in Me. It gives Me immense pleasure to bestow such blessings on those who have held nothing back. Love Me lavishly, sweet one, and without agenda – simply love because I loved you first.

Focus your heart on Me, and leave the battle plans to Me. Your role is humility – eyes and heart fixed on Me; My role is to be God and all that encompasses including knowing what is best for My children and leading them in that path as they yield. I have you, beloved. Continue reading “Humble and Yielded”

Unstoppable Force

Ecclesiastes 4:12 (VOICE) And if one person is vulnerable to attack, two can drive the attacker away. As the saying goes, “A rope made of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Beloved, cherish My divine connections for you. Just as trees lock their roots together to strengthen one another against the storms that inevitably come, so you should interweave your life with those I have connected you with that you might strengthen one another’s faith, building one another up that you might withstand the trials that come your way.

Hold fast to each other with Me at the center. Bear with one another in love, and extend grace to each other in weaknesses. Strengthen and encourage one another. Refuse to mandate personal agendas, instead choosing to align with Me and in doing so aligning with each other in perfect harmony. Be an unstoppable force – a beautiful reflection of Me. Embrace Trials

Isaiah 43:2 (TLB) When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.

Beloved, embrace the trials you encounter, knowing I have allowed them for your good. Just as building muscle in weight training requires repetition and increased opposition (weight), repeated trials give opportunity for you to grow strong and build your faith.

The question becomes will you embrace the growing and refining process with joy? Or will you complain throughout the process? Be aware that having joy in the midst is part of what successful maturation looks like. So choose wisely and choose well.

Embrace trials for the character building opportunities they are. Trust that I will never give you more than you can handle with Me at your side. Let your light shine and your character be matured. Lead by example, and demonstrate your trust in Me as you yield to the development plan I set before you by walking it out with joy.

The Gift of Love

John 15:13 (KJV) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Beloved, love as I have loved – withholding nothing, without condition or exception. For this type of love changes things, it breaks through the strongest of fortresses, it permeates through the most steadfast defenses.

Even knowing that to be true, don’t love needing or expecting a response, love for the sake of Love. Love because giving the gift of love is its own reward. Love because to do so makes you more like Me. Continue reading “The Gift of Love”

Love Without Reserve

Matthew 5:43-48 (TPT) …do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them. For that will reveal your identity as children of your heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil…

Beloved, your actions speak clearly whether you know Me or not, so consider what you’re communicating with each move and decision. Would you choose to reflect Me? Love unconditionally. Bestow mercy and extend grace. Reflect My heart.

Refuse to love only the easily loveable, but rather allow your love to be tested by loving those who resist it or who operate in hate. Choose to respond differently. Allow humility to be cultivated in your heart. Lay down your pride and offer someone what reflects My heart rather than what their actions call for. Love without restraint. Love without reserve. Love. Continue reading “Love Without Reserve”
