Receiving the Gift

Isaiah 53:5 (VOICE) But he was hurt because of us; he suffered so. Our wrongdoing wounded and crushed him. He endured the breaking that made us whole. The injuries he suffered became our healing.

Beloved, My Son was born that He might die – graciously sacrificing Himself on your behalf, His love poured out for you – a selfless and perfect offering made on your behalf. The cost was high. Yet we choose it willingly because that is the depth of the love of God.

Refuse to waste the gift you’ve been given. Walk in the freedom that came at so dear a price. Cling to the Blood-bought healing for your body, mind, soul, and spirit. The price has been paid, there’s no need to try to pay again out of a mistaken sense of guilt or shame. Don’t belittle the sacrifice given out of love on your behalf. Receive the fullness of the gift. Continue reading “Receiving the Gift”

Inexhaustible Love

Psalm 48:9 (TPT) Lord, as we worship you in your temple, we recall over and over your kindness to us and your unending love.

Beloved, you are not too much. You never will be. I’ve designed you to pour out your heart before Me in worship, to lavish your love on Me unreservedly. I can handle it and I want it. You are not too much for Me. My love for you is inexhaustible. Remember My loving kindness, beloved. Remind yourself you are loved by Me.

Refuse to allow any missteps to cause you to feel lesser or unqualified to be Mine, for nothing can change My heart toward you. My love knows no bounds. My grace is sufficient for you. You are My beloved and firmly in My grasp. Dry your tears and trust My heart. Trust I AM with you on this journey and despite the twists and turns, I will cause it all for good.

No Toehold

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love is not easily irritated…

Beloved, purpose to walk in humility, grace, and compassion. Let little annoyances and inconveniences roll off your back without effect. Refuse to give them credence or room to have impact.

Be so thoroughly saturated in My love that pesky things don’t even annoy. Be so filled with My joy that nothing can steal it. Have your eyes so full of Me and My vision that everything else is put in proper proportion. Refuse to give a toehold for the enemy to leverage; nor allow pride, thoughtlessness, or foolishness to injure any relationship. Continue reading “No Toehold”

Unending Love

Psalm 52:8 (TPT) But I am like a flourishing olive tree, anointed in the house of God. I trust in the unending love of God; his passion toward me is forever and ever.

Beloved, you can never outrun My love, it knows no bounds. I AM your Creator, I knitted you together in your mother’s womb. I know every detail of your heart and each nuance of your character. I know you intimately and I love you beyond measure.

There may be moments your choices break My heart, or where I weep for the effects you bring on yourself. It is true I will not force you to love Me, nor choose to live in My presence, but there is nothing you could do or say that would cause Me to stop loving you. My love is limitless and unending. Identity Rooted in Truth

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love does not…selfishly seek its own honor…

Beloved, you do not need to seek recognition for yourself nor strive to convince others of your value, either they will get it or not and neither is a reflection on your true value, but rather a commentary on their perception.

Who you are is rooted in truth and unchangeable, not subject to the fickle feelings of man. I AM the one who has designed you and created you for a purpose. I see every action you take, nothing is below My notice. I see and I recognize even when no one else seems to, and in the end I AM all that matters. Seek My pleasure and trust My perception. Lift One Another in My Love

Ecclesiastes 4:10 (GW) If one falls, the other can help his friend get up. But how tragic it is for the one who is all alone when he falls. There is no one to help him get up.

Beloved, don’t be found alone. Resist the temptation to close yourself off or to try to protect yourself from getting hurt by refusing to develop deep, intimate relationships. I will protect and heal your heart, and I have put people in your life to bless and challenge you, to encourage you and build you up.

Human relationships will always be imperfect because people are imperfect. Align your expectations accordingly. Look for both the blessings and the opportunities to bless. Bolster those around you. Lift one another in My love.

Respect Everyone as You Respect Me

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love does not… disrespect…

Beloved, give respect at all times in deference to Me. It honors Me when you treat the lowly, crass, or undeserving with respect. It calls to the hope I’ve placed within them, helping show them who they truly are. Each person is important to Me, by treating them with respect – deserved or not – it acknowledges that truth, which has a more powerful impact than you could imagine.

When you are disrespectful it speaks to the nature of your character, not the one you’re addressing. So see with My eyes and operate with My heart – call to their higher sense of right, regardless of circumstance or their response to you. Respect everyone as you respect Me. Conduit of Blessing

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love does not traffic in shame…

Beloved, nothing is gained by putting others down. Sarcasm and mockery at another’s expense speaks to the character of the one whose breath carries it and the one whose amusement supports it, not the one to whom it’s addressed – even when it is intended in jest. You never know what will be the “last straw” for a hurting heart, so don’t take a chance your words may be it. Refuse to indulge in careless words remembering you are held accountable for every one that leaves your mouth.

You have a choice to bless or to curse, choose to bless. Do it consistently and do it often. Be intentional to build up, see the good, speak to the potential – prophesy, beloved! Let your mouth be a conduit of blessing and your words a river of life. Let My living water flow forth from within you untainted and sweet. Be known by your delicious fruit that tastes like Me. Take the Time to Notice

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (TPT) …Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance…

Beloved, trust Me to highlight your successes and showcase your strengths in the moments I deem right. Rather than trying to build your own esteem, focus on seeing and exposing the strengths and virtues of those around you.

Take the time to notice when others’ do good. Recognize My hand at work. Be quick to encourage and support those thoughts and deeds. Be intentional about building others up without thought of it being returned, but simply because it is a beautiful thing to do. Continue reading “Take the Time to Notice”

Radiant Royalty

Psalm 76:4 (TPT) God, you are so resplendent and radiant! Your majesty shines from your everlasting mountain. Nothing could be compared to you in glory!

Beloved, you are radiant royalty. A resplendent reflection of His glory. You know Whose you are. Just His name alone brings a hope. In the deepness of night and the brightest of day, you shine more brightly because you are His.

Your strength is in Him. Identity is in Him. Hope is in Him. You will not stray. You know He loves you. You walk in that deep intimacy with Him and have a steadfast knowledge of your true identity. You are a beloved child of God.
