My Spirit Brings Life

Genesis 8:11 (VOICE) This time the dove came back to him in the evening, and there, in its beak, was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew then that the waters had begun to retreat from the land.

Beloved, My Spirit brings life. It brings hope. So wait on My Spirit for wisdom and direction. Trust Me to give a clear sign so you know which way to go. For I AM intentional and clear. I desire to be understood by you even more than you desire to understand.

So listen, and trust Me to lead. My sheep know My voice, and the nudging of My Holy Spirit is known to them. In love, obey. Then watch as life bursts forth and I bring you from glory unto glory, for you are Mine.

The River of God

Ezekiel 47:8-9 (VOICE) The Man:  This river flows eastward and runs down into the Jordan Valley to the place where it flows into the Dead Sea. The moment it meets the sea, the salty water becomes fresh. Swarms of creatures will flourish wherever this river flows. Schools of fish will swim through currents of fresh water, for wherever this water flows everything will come alive!

Beloved, the river of God brings healing to whatever it touches. So stay in the river. Remain in My healing flow. For I AM YHVH Rapha – the Lord your healer, so look to Me to heal and to restore that you in turn may share My refreshing flow with others.

Come alive! Just as Lazarus was called forth from the grave, so I have called you from the death and bondage of sin into My glorious, life-giving light. Be embraced by My love, saturated by My Spirit, and be made whole.

Fountain of Life

Proverbs 10:19 (VOICE) The more you talk, the more likely you will cross the line and say the wrong thing; but if you are wise, you’ll speak less and with restraint.

Beloved, be circumspect with your words, for it is far too easy to get carried away and indulge yourself with worthless chatter. Rather it would be wise to pause before speaking to consider the value of what you want to say.

Weigh your words to determine if they bring life, hope, and encouragement, or if they bring doubt, hurt, and fear. Choose wisely, and choose intentionally. Show yourself wise by guarding your tongue, and being intentional to have your words be a fountain of life.

Expect Multiplication

Ezekiel 37:10 (VOICE) So I did what God told me to do: I prophesied to the breath. As I was speaking, breath invaded the lifeless. The bodies came alive and stood on their feet. I realized then I was looking at a great army.

Beloved, when I bring life, I bring it abundantly. So expect multiplication. Expect the supernatural. Expect above and beyond all you can imagine, for I AM able. I AM El Elyon – the most high God, so refuse to think small.

Know that My life force is not some weak powerless thing. It is bold and invasive – it eradicates death, negating its power. So prophesy life and welcome My breath, for I AM Chay Elohim – the living God, and there is no death in Me.

Ezekiel 37:1, 4-5, 9-10 (VOICE) The Eternal had a hold on me, and I couldn’t escape it. The divine wind of the Eternal One picked me up and set me down in the middle of the valley, but this time it was full of bones. Eternal One: …Prophesy to these bones. Tell them to listen to what the Eternal Lord says to them: “Dry bones, I will breathe breath into you, and you will come alive. Eternal One:  Prophesy to the breath. Speak, son of man, and tell them what the Eternal Lord has to say: “O sweet breath, come from the four winds and breathe into these who have been killed. Make these corpses come alive.” So I did what God told me to do: I prophesied to the breath. As I was speaking, breath invaded the lifeless. The bodies came alive and stood on their feet. I realized then I was looking at a great army.

My Breath Brings Life

Ezekiel 37:4-5 (VOICE) Eternal One: …Prophesy to these bones. Tell them to listen to what the Eternal Lord says to them: “Dry bones, I will breathe breath into you, and you will come alive.

Beloved, My breath brings life. I spoke the world into existence – My breath carrying My words, stirring life from nothingness. Understand that no situation is beyond My reach and My redemption. Refuse to underestimate the power of My breath.

For I AM the life giver, and healing is in My wings. Face the wind with arms thrown wide and embrace all My Spirit would bring. Listen, beloved. Listen and respond, for nothing can hold back the life carried on My breath. So breathe Me in, and receive the life-giving wind of My Spirit. Continue reading “My Breath Brings Life”

Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)

Ezekiel 37:1 (VOICE) The Eternal had a hold on me, and I couldn’t escape it. The divine wind of the Eternal One picked me up and set me down in the middle of the valley, but this time it was full of bones.

Beloved, yield to My flow. Allow My Spirit to move you into position – even (and perhaps especially) when you don’t know where that is supposed to be. You don’t need to be in control, or insist on understanding all My leadings before you’ll submit. On the contrary, true faith is trusting Me without fully understanding. Trusting that I will tell you what you need to know and will lead you where you need to go.

My Ruach HaKodesh – Holy Spirit – My breath, My wind – can be trusted to bring life, to lead, to heal, to renew, and so much more. So trust in Me. Yield and flow. Ride the currents of My breath and allow the wind of the Spirit to carry you – as if on wings – where you need to be. Continue reading “Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)”

Draw from Me

Ephesians 3:17 (TPT) Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

Beloved, I AM the source of life – of creativity and inspiration. Draw from Me. Drink deeply from the well of My love and know truth and freedom. For I AM the giver of life, and I AM the Creator.

Look to Me, beloved, as your source because nothing else can satisfy. Just as a tree’s roots burrow deep for nourishment and stability, so you should root yourself in Me. For I AM your foundation. I AM your truth. And I AM your all in all. Continue reading “Draw from Me”

Choose to Cultivate Life

James 3:9-10 (CSB) With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in God’s likeness. Blessing and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.

Beloved, refuse to be double minded. Refuse to be one who is first swayed one direction, and then another. One who blesses out of one side of their mouth, and then curses out of the other. Choose who you would be – and choose wisely, and then stand fast.

Choose to be a fountain of blessing. Choose to speak life. Choose to see the good, and encourage that good to flourish. Bring the things that trouble you to Me. Pray them out with care. Hope and believe for the best. Choose to cultivate life. Continue reading “Choose to Cultivate Life”

Powerful Vessel of Life

James 3:6 (CSB) And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among our members. It stains the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

Beloved, refuse to underestimate the power your tongue wields. With your mouth, you can wreak immense damage that affects your whole body as well as those around you. Resist the urge to try to marginalize its impact. But at the same time, refuse to be cowed into silence either.

Remember that power can be used for good or evil. So rather than causing trouble, instead use your mouth to bring life and share hope – to build up rather than tearing down. In this way, you can become a fount of life. As a yielded vessel, your mouth can pour forth the sparkling, clear flow that comes straight from My Spirit. So surrender yourself to Me, beloved, and be a powerful vessel of life. Continue reading “Powerful Vessel of Life”

Intentionally Sow Words of Life

James 3:2 (CSB) For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.

Beloved, it’s not that you won’t ever say the wrong thing or hurt someone with your words, but rather how you strive to avoid doing so and the humility with which you respond when you do. Choose to be circumspect in your speech. Season it with a liberal dose of love and kindness delivered humbly and with a heart to build up rather than tear down.

Resist the urge to spout off at the mouth when you are angry or frustrated. Instead hold your peace, and find a moment to pour out your heart to Me. Refuse to allow careless words to flow from you, but rather be one who intentionally sows words of life in all around them. You are able. Simply ask for My help.
