Key to the Kingdom: Be Holy

Psalm 141:4 (VOICE) Don’t allow my deepest desires to steer me toward doing what is wrong or associating with wicked people Or joining in their wicked works or tasting any of their pleasures.

Beloved, be holy as I AM holy. Choose what is right and refuse to flirt with the line between what is right and wrong. Pursue righteousness. Set yourself up for success – flee from temptation and give it no place.

Fix your gaze on Me to understand the fullness of holiness, and then be like Me – for you are made in My image and called to shine brightly. Reflect Me. Reflect My character. Light the world with your holy blaze.

Correcting Light

Ephesians 5:13 (TPT) Whatever the revelation-light exposes, it will also correct, and everything that reveals truth is light to the soul.

Beloved, My correcting light is a blessing worth embracing. I chasten those I love, so to reject My chastening is to reject My life-altering love. Embrace Me. Embrace My love. Welcome My correction without fear or shame. You have no need to defend yourself because you are not under attack. I understand your every heart motivation long before you do, and My grace is sufficient for you.

The wise embrace truth and see it as My wisdom, while the foolish reject it and seek to believe falsehoods and perversions. Refuse to allow pride to keep you from the benefit of wisdom, or for fear to create barriers from receiving My love. No one is beyond redemption. No one is incapable of change when empowered by My Spirit. Embrace My loving correction and allow the light of Truth to have its way. Yield to the shaping of the Potter’s hands, and become the glorious vessel you’ve been created to be.

Refuse to Take the Bait

Psalm 142:4 (GW) Look to my right and see that no one notices me. Escape is impossible for me. No one cares about me.

Beloved, though there may be times you feel overlooked, unseen, unimportant, and worthless, those feelings are not communicating truth to you. Refuse to take the bait. The enemy seeks to convince you of these things, but he is a liar and the father of lies.

Remember that David, a man after My own heart, a man quoted and beloved, a man still inspiring multitudes hundreds of years later felt the same way. You never know the full impact your life and actions have.

So keep your eyes and heart fixed on Me. Focus on obedience, and knowing and loving My Word. Abide with Me, and allow a life cultivated in that fertile soil to bear fruit and do so abundantly. Continue reading “Refuse to Take the Bait”

Spirit of the Lord

Luke 4:18 (VOICE) The Spirit of the Lord the Eternal One is on Me. Why? Because the Eternal designated Me to be His representative to the poor, to preach good news to them.

Beloved, be My voice. Open your mouth and trust Me to fill it. Allow My Spirit to flow through you, to inspire thought and action, to give vision of the unseen, and to bring prophetic revelation in My perfect timing. Trust, and yield to My flow.

As you partner with My Spirit, you will see the miraculous take place. The supernatural will become as if it were common so clear and continuous its evidence. The gifts of My Spirit alive and on display for all to see. The beauty of My glory manifest on earth and in the heavens. Choose, beloved, choose to yield and flow in Me. Make Me Your Firm Foundation

John 1:1 (NLT) In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Beloved, I AM. I AM the Alpha and Omega – the beginning and the end. From the foundations of the earth I have always been. I AM everlasting, and My Word endures forever. No firmer foundation can be found, for I AM steadfast and unchanging. Everything else is soft ground and sinking sand compared to My solid bedrock. Make Me your firm foundation.

I AM truly reliable, I AM completely faithful, and My love for you is steadfast. In a world of chaos and uncertainty, I AM your hiding place and your strong tower. I AM resolute and unwavering, a fixed point in a sea of motion. Grab hold and refuse to let go. Beloved, make Me your firm foundation.

Roadblocks and Inconveniences

Hosea 2:6 (CSB) Therefore, this is what I will do: I will block her way with thorns; I will enclose her with a wall, so that she cannot find her paths.

Beloved, I will not make it easy for you to walk away from Me, nor will I make the road to sin smooth. Like a good father putting up child gates and closing doors, I will block the way that takes you from My will. I will add roadblocks and inconveniences to block your way in an effort to make you pause and see what you’re doing.

Yes, you have free will, and I would never take that from you, but I love you too much to make the path to things that hurt you an easy one to choose. I will do all I can to encourage you to change your mind and choose wisely.

So if you find yourself hindered in every direction, beloved, give pause and look to Me. Don’t assume the enemy is blocking your path because sometimes it is Me. Continue reading “Roadblocks and Inconveniences”

I Lead You Rightly

Jeremiah 32:19 (VOICE) Your instructions are great, and Your actions are too wondrous for words. You see all that happens on this earth; You know what everyone does, and You deal with each fairly.

Beloved, I AM righteous and I AM fair. I AM trustworthy, and I know and see all. Resist the urge to try to take control, and instead trust My capable hands and My wise heart. I AM not biased, and I judge based on truth.

My perspective is broad, deep, and detailed. I know and understand all the hearts, motivations, and circumstances involved in every situation. You cannot say the same. Only I AM God.

The only way for you to respond fairly in any situation is to trust Me to lead. I see what you do not, but if you allow My Spirit to guide you, you can navigate with My perspective. But to do so, you must yield to Me.

Trust Me when I challenge you not to react. Responding in haste without My perspective will often lead to unnecessary hurt and confusion. When I encourage temperance it isn’t because I don’t care about your feelings or because I want to give someone a pass on their poor behavior, but rather I’m seeing things you do not. Trust Me, beloved. I lead you rightly.

Don’t Hide

Matthew 5:15-16 (TLB) Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

Beloved, you are My show piece – a glorious example of My beauty and grace made manifest in the earth. Don’t hide yourself; hiding yourself means hiding the glory of My handiwork that was created to bless, encourage, and impact the world around you.

Shine brightly, beloved. Refuse to hide who I’ve created you to be by bending to the opinions of man, but instead boldly live a life of authenticity, displaying the true you in all your gloriously flawed beauty that My power and majesty might be made known.

The Gift of Love

John 15:13 (KJV) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Beloved, love as I have loved – withholding nothing, without condition or exception. For this type of love changes things, it breaks through the strongest of fortresses, it permeates through the most steadfast defenses.

Even knowing that to be true, don’t love needing or expecting a response, love for the sake of Love. Love because giving the gift of love is its own reward. Love because to do so makes you more like Me. Continue reading “The Gift of Love”

Be Mindful What Your Actions Communicate

Numbers 20:12 (AMP) But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed (trusted) Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, you therefore shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Beloved, it is not enough to say you trust Me. When you insist you understand each thing I ask of you, you demonstrate your lack of trust. When you do things how we’ve done before rather than how I’ve instructed for this time, you show a lack of trust. And when you cherry pick which of My instructions you will adhere to, you communicate loudly that you trust yourself more and place your own judgment above My own. Conditional trust is not trust.

Beloved, check your actions to be certain they align with what you desire to communicate. Because habitually choosing your own judgment over Mine not only tells Me you don’t trust Me (as well as communicating that clearly to those around you), but it also demonstrates that you do not love Me as you say you do. Love trusts. Love obeys. Love listens.

So be mindful what you’re actions are communicating, be certain they align with what you’re hoping to express. And in the moments they fall short, repent and adjust your behavior accordingly. Give true love to Me remembering I first loved you. Continue reading “Be Mindful What Your Actions Communicate”
