Remain Singular in Focus

1 Corinthians 12:4 (NLT) There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.

Beloved, I AM the source, the giver of good gifts, and the endower of spiritual gifts. I created you for a call and with a purpose, and the plans I have for you are good plans – ones that honor Me and expand the Kingdom. Be satisfied with your piece and walk it out with excellence. Remain singular in focus: eyes on Me, heart aligned with My plans and My Kingdom.

Refuse the temptation to wish you were created or called differently. In the Kingdom, every person is cherished, every gift is vital, and each role necessary to complete that which I have planned. Refuse to judge through human eyes. Be firm in having a Kingdom mentality where the goal is simply: making Me known and expanding the Kingdom. Continue reading “Remain Singular in Focus”

Find Me in My Word

Psalm 119:97 (VOICE) Oh, how I love Your law! I fix my mind on it all day long.

Beloved, pursue My heart. If you would know Me, you must know My word, for it reflects My heart toward you – My longings clearly reflected page after page: that I would be your God and that you would be My people. In it you’ll find example after example of My patience and grace. Seek Me there and you will find Me.

Allow My Holy Spirit to bring revelation as you read, and meditate on it as you go about your day. Filter your thoughts and encounters through My truth and learn more about Me. Fix your mind on My instructions, set your heart on My word, and determine how best to honor and exalt Me in all you do.

I Love a Cheerful Giver

1 John 3:17 (TLB) But if someone who is supposed to be a Christian has money enough to live well, and sees a brother in need, and won’t help him—how can God’s love be within him?

Beloved, give generously as I give generously to you. Focus on the blessings you have with gratitude rather than allowing the enemy to distract you with insatiable desires for all you don’t. I supply for every need. I delight in blessing My children.

So sow as you would reap. Live with an open hand allowing Me to move through you to bless others just as I bless you through those around you. Refuse to operate from a poverty mindset. Rejoice in your ability to bless others regardless of whether it is something great or small. A heart of obedience is beautiful and I love a cheerful giver. Bringing Forth the Good

2 Corinthians 12:7 (AMP) Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me—to keep me from exalting myself!

Beloved, do not think for one moment that I will not allow you to walk through trials – even in the natural, children who are indulged and overprotected become spoiled and entitled – so I will allow trials to mold character in your life and I do this for your own benefit. What I promise you is that I will be with you through them all, I will never give you more than you can handle (with Me), and I will use them all for good.

So as you find yourself in the midst of trials, look for Me there. Seek Me and ask Me what I AM working in the midst of it to grow and bless. Trust that My heart toward you is good and My plans for you are good. Refuse to allow that perspective to waver. The enemy will whisper lies to you about My character, refuse to listen and cling to Me all the more. I will never leave you or forsake you, so stand fast and allow Me to bring forth the good. See Me As I AM

Psalm 96:6-7 (VOICE) Honor and majesty precede Him; strength and beauty infuse His holy sanctuary.

Beloved, see Me as I AM. High and lifted up. Honor and majesty go before Me, My grandeur and glory fill the heavens and the earth. I AM vast and unchangeable. You can spend the rest of your life attempting to plumb the depths of Me and still only scratch the surface.

Behold, beloved, the beauty of my majesty. Be strengthened in My presence and encouraged by a deeper understanding of who I AM. As you understand in greater measure how enormous and truly powerful I AM, you can’t help but worship – can’t help but trust. When you have glimpsed My heart, you cannot help but understand that I AM God and I AM good.

Boldly Evident

Ephesians 6:13, 17 (AMP) Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger]…And take the helmet of salvation…

Beloved, you have the mind of Christ. Refuse to allow the enemy to set up camp in your thought life. He may pester and poke, but only you can grant him access. So send him packing. Take the thought bombs he lobs at you captive. Refuse to take the bait.

Worry is not from Me. Fear is not from Me. Lust is not from Me. Greed is not from Me. Beloved, you know Me. Filter your thoughts through My word and My heart and you will clearly know which ideas originate from above and which come from below. Think on that which is good and perfect and true, assume positive intent, and walk in integrity of character that the joy of your salvation might be boldly evident for all to see.

Train Your Gaze on Me

Exodus 23:13 (VOICE) Be careful to do all that I have instructed you. Do not even acknowledge the names of other gods or let their names spill from your lips.

Beloved, refuse to acknowledge the enemy by giving him credit in your life. I AM your God and I will not share with another. Resist the urge to point at his opposition and use it as a barometer for your walk saying, “I know I am doing something right because he is opposing me.” The enemy will always oppose you because I love you. He will always lay traps to ensnare you because you are precious to me.

Look to Me, beloved, and keep your eyes fixed. Trust that I will guide you with My eye. Train your gaze upon Me never allowing it to waver. I AM the Lord your God. I AM the faithful God. Keeping My promises from generation to generation. My promise you have. My love you have. My acceptance you have. I AM all you need. Continue reading “Train Your Gaze on Me”

Be at Peace

Matthew 6:27 (CSB) Can any of you add one moment to his life-span by worrying?

Beloved, refuse to allow the enemy to tempt you into useless cycles of fruitless energy by worrying. Trust in Me. I AM sovereign. I AM almighty. Nothing shocks or surprises Me. Nothing catches Me off guard. Rest in that knowledge.

You don’t have to be in control or even try to understand all the why’s of a situation, you can simply rest knowing that One who is for you does know, and trust Me to lead, guide, and protect you in the midst. Lean on Me. Rest in Me. Be at peace.

Bathe Luxuriously in My Word

Psalm 119:130 (VOICE) When Your words are unveiled, light shines forth; they bring understanding to the simple.

Beloved, I bring wisdom through the revelation of My word. My word is a conduit for truth and understanding. As you wash yourself in it (taking the time to luxuriously bathe), I impart to you via divine revelation truths you have not yet known.

Seek Me, beloved. My word is My heart laid bare, know Me. Hear My heart cry and feel the depth of My longing for the hearts of My people. For the more of Me that is hidden in their hearts, the more radiant they become, and that glow draws others home to Me. A beautiful gift from My beloved to Me.

Let Victory Be Your Song

2 Timothy 1:7 (VOICE) You see, God did not give us a cowardly spirit but a powerful, loving, and disciplined spirit.

Beloved, let My love for you embolden you. Let it fill you with confidence in Me. You walk in victory when you walk with Me. Refuse discouragement. The enemy will always try to distract you with seeming failures and he loves to malign My character, but you know and walk in Truth.

Let victory be your song. Let My joy wrap through your soul filling you with strength. Radiate the assurance of one who knows Me. Be filled with the knowledge of Me and be overwhelmed by My love.
