My Humble Ones

2 Timothy 4:8 (TPT) There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me, and I know that my Lord will reward me on his day of righteous judgment. And this crown is not only waiting for me, but for all who love and long for his unveiling.

Beloved, I will not withhold My blessings from My faithful ones. Those who have bowed their heads in humility are prepared to be crowned in glory. And beloved, you have chosen the humble road. You have chosen selflessness. You’ve chosen to place others before yourself – and that choice has cost you dearly.

And yet, time after time you’ve chosen the humble road – in part because it’s all you’ve ever known, but in part because you’ve known it pleases Me. And though this road is the one less chosen, and though the cost is high (death to self), the glory I bestow upon My humble ones is well worth the cost.

So receive, My beloved, for My blessing I will not withhold. And My glory I will lavish upon you. Be swept away in the secret place – a place where no one else can see, and yet I see. I see you – My eye is ever upon you. And I will grant you peace and abundance, so receive. Continue reading “My Humble Ones”

Steadfast in Vigilance

1 Peter 5:8 (AMPC) Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

Beloved, this is not a time to slumber or be distracted. The hour is late. This is a time for sobriety and vigilance. Be awake and alert. The King is coming. Make ready and remain watchful, for you do not know the hour, but will not want to be caught unaware.

Resist the urge to become complacent or lackadaisical. In doing so you become vulnerable to attacks intended to derail you from My purposes. Instead, remain steadfast in vigilance and prepare for the King to come, for I AM coming.

Never Forget Who You Are

1 Peter 2:9 (TPT) But you are God’s chosen treasure —priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own.

Beloved, never forget who you are and who you’re called to be. You are Mine. Called to be in My presence, to boldly approach My throne of grace. Called to minister at My feet, to pour out your life as a sweet offering to Me.

I receive you. You are acceptable in My sight. Lovely and beautiful, radiant for Me. I see you. You shine so brightly, beloved. Your face reflects My glory as you stay close to Me. Dwell in this place. Continue reading “Never Forget Who You Are”

Pursue Humility with Diligence

1 Peter 5:6 (CSB) Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time,

Beloved, refuse to be concerned or dismayed in humbling seasons knowing I AM the one who lifts men up and makes men great. Glory and honor come from Me alone. So be not troubled in moments you feel overlooked, undervalued, or unseen – for I see you and am holding My hand over you to cover you. But beloved, in due season…

So pursue humility with diligence, allowing it to grow and refine you. Wear it like a mantle and be known for your selfless support of others. Love like I love – steadfastly believing the best – and continually align your vision with Mine. Trust that I AM at work and bringing things together for good. And trust that I know the perfect moment to make you shine.

Weightless in Him

{my heart cries} I will seek You, God. I choose You. Regardless of circumstance. Regardless of the cost. I choose You because You are worth it all. You are so good and Your love exceeds my understanding.

{He responds} I will meet you, beloved. As you step out in faith, placing all your trust in Me, I will meet you there. I AM faithful and My heart for you is true. Rest in Me.

{feeling His hand extended toward me, I look at it – so large, plenty big to handle anything that might come against me or give me cause for concern – and I place my hand in His. I feel Him gently pull me along side Him and the closer I get I feel lighter and lighter until I am weightless by His side. Aligned with Him. Trusting in Him. Yielded to His lead. Resting in His loving care of me.}

1 Peter 5:7 (VOICE) Since God cares for you, let Him carry all your burdens and worries.

Radiate Love and Life

1 Peter 2:1 (TLB) So get rid of your feelings of hatred. Don’t just pretend to be good! Be done with dishonesty and jealousy and talking about others behind their backs.

Beloved, refuse to indulge in satisfying your flesh by allowing hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness to fester nor by allowing the fruit thereof to flourish. You are children of God and of the light, and knowing and having experienced Me you are inherently different than the world, no longer slaves to emotion.

You are no longer driven by reaction. Be one who chooses how to respond to any circumstance or situation with My heart and reflecting My character. Beloved, bear fruit. I have not promised it would be easy, but I AM with you and will never leave you. Let your godly character and the fruit of My Spirit shine like the sun for all to see. You have already been given what you need, radiate love and life.

Grace in Persecution

1 Peter 2:19 (ESV) For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly.

Beloved, I know and fully understand unjust suffering. I have been persecuted, accused, and ridiculed. I know well the pain of being wrongfully attacked – even by those who matter greatly to Me – and the hurt that comes with it all is well known to Me.

When you find yourself accused, judged, and wounded, remember that I have been too. Use that moment to identify with My heart. Focus on that as you choose to respond in love and gentleness refusing to allow your pride to force you to respond rashly or in haste. Forgive those who hurt you and turn them over to My hand, trusting Me to respond as I see fit and to heal and protect your heart. Have grace in the midst of persecution and keep your eyes on Me.

I AM Your True North

1 Peter 1:25 (TLV) But the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was proclaimed as Good News to you.

Beloved, My word endures forever. From everlasting to everlasting I remain. I AM steadfast and sure – unchanging and completely dependable. You can rely on Me. I AM the same yesterday, today, and forever. Those around you may disappoint and shift like sand, but I remain the same.

I AM your true north – your touch point, your anchor. Let Me be your firm foundation in a world ever changing. Fear has no place as you put your trust in Me for I AM El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One, and I fiercely love and protect My children. My heart towards them – towards you – is unchanging and wholly loyal. Rest in the shadow of My wings for there you will find peace.

Be an Influence for Good

1 Peter 1:24 (NLT) As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades.

Beloved, be mindful that your time on this earth is limited. Be intentional about your use of it. Refuse to squander it as well as the compulsion to work without rest. Seek My wisdom on both your call and the little day-to-day details of your life, for everything that pertains to you is important to Me – both big and small.

Though each human life may be as a vapor or a wisp, the impact of each has the capability of great influence – both for good and for evil. Choose this day how you will live and the influence you would have. Exercise wisdom by knowing My Word and walking in My ways. Be an influence for good, beloved, and leave a mark on this world – one that points to Me.

Be Known for Your Grace

1 Peter 3:9 (TLB) Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t snap back at those who say unkind things about you. Instead, pray for God’s help for them, for we are to be kind to others, and God will bless us for it.

Beloved, be known for your grace. Be known for being unoffendable. Refuse to allow your pride to be pricked, but instead seek to understand the heart motives behind careless and hurtful actions and pray for those who deliver them. You need not endure abuse, but simply remove yourself quietly rather than taking issue with your assailant. I AM the Lord and I will repay.

Be quick to forgive, leaving all to My hand of justice, for I AM the righteous judge. Beloved, bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you. Keep your heart tender and trust Me to protect and heal you. Continue reading “Be Known for Your Grace”
