Sacrificial Love

John 15:13 (NIV) Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Beloved, true love means sacrifice. The cost is high to give. And the higher the cost, the more difficult it can be to receive – to feel worthy of such a sacrifice. But, beloved, to focus on your worth is asking the wrong question. The question is: what will you do with what you have been given?

Respond in gratitude. Respond in power. Rather than asking if you are worthy of such a sacrifice, live in a way that is worthy. Choose to receive the blessing and walk in the fullness – not in arrogance, but rather an honored humility.

Revealer of Truth

Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Beloved, My Word reveals truth. By equipping you with truth, not only does My Word protect you from lies others would attempt to pass off as truth, but it keeps you from deceiving yourself as well.

In the light of My Word, you cannot hide. You are naked and welcome to be unashamed, for, beloved, I do not give revelation to bring you shame, but rather to heal you and make you whole.

Just as impurities must come to the surface of a wound and be cleaned away so complete healing may come, so must you release the falsehoods you’ve embraced as truth. See yourself rightly. Discern My love for you accurately.

Allow My living breathing Word to bring life and make you whole. My Spirit quickening the truths to your heart, and My immense love for you revealing itself page after page.

Love the Brokenhearted

Psalm 34:18 (VOICE) When someone is hurting or brokenhearted, the Eternal moves in close and revives him in his pain.

Beloved, I love the brokenhearted. I draw near to them, and I bind up their wounds that they may be healed. Are you willing to be My hands and feet? Are you willing to love like Me? To stay with someone in their brokenness and pain, asking and expecting nothing, simply lavishing life-changing love because you are able?

Resist the urge to fix or counsel, beloved, even when it seems so easy or obvious to you. If My breath isn’t on your words and My Spirit isn’t giving unction, they will not just fall on deaf ears but may cause further injury.

Rather, lavish your love unconditionally because that is how I have loved you. Love without reserve or expectation. Simply love. Freely you have received; freely give. Continue reading “Love the Brokenhearted”

Be My Living Word in the Earth

John 1:1 (VOICE) Before time itself was measured, the Voice was speaking. The Voice was and is God.

Beloved, hear Me, for I AM yet speaking. My Word carried on My breath – My Spirit. I still speak today. Will you have ears to hear? Will you heed My voice? It is not enough to say you love My Word, true love is demonstrated by obedience – a yielding to truth, by becoming a manifestation of My Word.

I lead you rightly, so listen for My still small voice. Recognize it as it echoes My written Word which you have read and hidden in your heart. Hear and respond. Hear and obey. Align with My Son – My Word made manifest – by doing as He did, by living like Him – by being My living Word in the earth. Continue reading “Be My Living Word in the Earth”

Deeper Still

2 Timothy 3:16 (TPT) Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.

Beloved, My Word is living and active – infused with the breath of My Spirit. It is invaluable for gaining wisdom and direction. It instructs and chastens. It comforts and encourages. It speaks to your heart. Receive the light it brings, for that light is Me.

Come deeper, beloved. I stand beckoning you – inviting you closer still. There is more – always more – to be had in Me. Behold, I AM Galah Raz, the Revealer of Mysteries – the All-Knowing One. You cannot plumb My depths, but My Word invites you to try. Come deeper still, beloved. Deeper still.

My Word is a Mighty Weapon

Proverbs 30:5 (NLT) Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.

Beloved, My Word is a mighty weapon – a two-edged sword. It is unbreakable and true. I AM your shield – put your faith in Me. Stand fast in the day of trouble and rely on your firm foundation to keep your stance secure.

I will not shake. I will not move. My Word is true, and a safety to all who cling to it, for I AM steadfast and mighty, and My Word gives keen insight that uncovers dark motives and hidden agendas. Trust in Me. Trust in My Word. Look to Me for your protection.

Sow and See Them Grow

Proverbs 31:28 (TPT) Her sons and daughters arise in one accord to extol her virtues, and her husband arises to speak of her in glowing terms.

Beloved, be diligent and consistent in pouring forth wisdom and love, for in due season you will reap a harvest. Refuse to be discouraged by set backs regardless of how disheartening they may be. Love as if you will never be hurt. Love without reserve.

Parenting – whether natural parents or spiritual, is not for the faint of heart. It takes patience, depth, long-suffering, forgiveness, an ability to see and hold to the truth, and an abundance of unwavering love. You must learn to truly be like Me. But the fruit of it will come if you persist. Your children will flourish and rise up and call you blessed. How blessed you are to sow and then see them grow. Steadfast Praise

Psalm 149:6 (TPT) God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!

Beloved, as your praises rise, things begin to shift. As your praises rise, mountains begin to move. Just as a drip of water can change the face of a rock over time, never underestimate the power of your steadfast praise.

Stay equipped. Hide the word in your heart and raise a banner or lift your voice high or dance before Me, beloved, but do something. Allow the fruit of your faith to pour forth from your heart.

Your praise changes things. It shifts the atmosphere. It is powerful because I inhabit the praises of My people and I AM mighty beyond expectation or description. So be steadfast in your praise.  Continue reading “Steadfast Praise “

Praises Rise

Psalm 149:5 (TPT) His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep.

Beloved, let your praises rise. Let them rise both in triumph and in the expectation of it. Let it rise at all times. Your steadfast, joyful praise is an audible banner lifted high – a clear reminder to all of Who I AM: I AM God, the Lord of Hosts, the Mighty One, and I reign.

Refuse to be silent. Refuse to be distracted. Let your joyful praise come forth like refreshing waters encouraging yourself and all those around you. You know who you are because you know Who I AM. Walk boldly in your identity as a child of Mine.  Continue reading “Praises Rise”

Humble and Yielded

Psalm 149:4 (TPT) For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty and he loves to give them the victory.

Beloved, I delight to bring victory to those who rejoice in Me. It gives Me immense pleasure to bestow such blessings on those who have held nothing back. Love Me lavishly, sweet one, and without agenda – simply love because I loved you first.

Focus your heart on Me, and leave the battle plans to Me. Your role is humility – eyes and heart fixed on Me; My role is to be God and all that encompasses including knowing what is best for My children and leading them in that path as they yield. I have you, beloved. Continue reading “Humble and Yielded”
