Embrace the Season

Psalm 126:6 (VOICE) Those who weep as they walk and plant with sighs Will return singing with joy, when they bring home the harvest.

Beloved, for all things there is a season. A time to mourn and a time to rejoice. Resist the urge to fight the season you’re in. If it is a time to cry, allow yourself the grace to do so knowing that a time for joy will be just around the bend.

And beloved, once the time for joy has come, release your garments of mourning and choose to step into the new day. Know that grief and joy are a part of life, and there is much to learn from both. Embrace the season you are in, and learn what you can from it.

Remember that contrast is a part of life. Darkness contrasts the radiance of the light, just as the pain of sorrow contrasts the sweetness of joy. Allow each season and all the contrasts that paint the story of your life to be what they are – in all their bold beauty, just as you are loved and embraced in all your strengths and weaknesses as the beautiful creation you are. And trust that I AM at work for good in it all.  Continue reading “Embrace the Season”

Wait and Trust

Psalm 126:5 (VOICE) Those who walk the fields to sow, casting their seed in tears, will one day tread those same long rows, amazed by what’s appeared.

Beloved, though the days and nights of trial feel endless, stand fast and cling to hope. For in a time not too far off, you will stand amazed by the beauty that lies where the ashes once were. For I bring forth life from death, just as a seed – dry and dormant – is sown and brings forth fruit.

So wait and trust. Resist the urge to battle and rage, and instead look to Me in the midst of your storm. Find My gaze and hold it. Just as keeping your eyes on the horizon calms sea sickness, so holding My gaze will steady you in the midst of turmoil. So cling to Me and the hope of who I AM. Trust and wait, beloved. Wait and trust.  Continue reading “Wait and Trust”

Emissaries of Heaven

Mark 16:20 (VOICE) The disciples went out proclaiming the good news; and the risen Lord continued working through them, confirming every word they spoke with the signs He performed through them.]

Beloved, expect manifestations of My power. For what is the point of praying for the miraculous if you aren’t fully persuaded that the One you beseech is more than able to do “abundantly above all you could ask or think”? Choose to know Me, and choose to believe.

Walk in the full authority and power of the One who has sent you: Me. You are the emissaries of heaven. Yielded and willing vessels – created to usher the supernatural into the natural realm because you know who I AM and you believe. So stand and speak in faith, and watch Me move.

Dwelling Place

1 Peter 2:5 (TPT) Come and be his “living stones” who are continually being assembled into a sanctuary for God. For now you serve as holy priests, offering up spiritual sacrifices that he readily accepts through Jesus Christ.

Beloved, present yourself as a living offering. Be part of My holy temple – a dwelling place for My Spirit. Welcome Me, even as I welcome you into My presence – that we might be one. United in thought and purpose.

And from this place of unity, work in unison with Me and act on My behalf. Be prompted by My Spirit – a holy priest, ordained by Me. To effectively and rightly represent Me, you must first know Me and be known by Me. So dwell in My presence, and be indwelt by Me.

I AM Good

Psalm 56:10 (TPT) I trust in the Lord. And I praise him! I trust in the Word of God. And I praise him!

Beloved, in the midst of trials, hold fast to that which you know is true: I AM good. That fact remains unchanging. Difficulties are not a sign that I’m cruel or uncaring. Hardships are simply a part of life.

But I AM with you always. I stand by you – to comfort and to guide you – in good times and in bad. Trust in Me. Resist the urge to blame or accuse Me, for I AM loving and I AM good. And I will bring forth beauty from ashes, so wait for it and rest in Me.

Promised Kingdom

Revelation 7:17 (TPT) For the Lamb at the center of the throne continuously shepherds them unto life—guiding them to the everlasting fountains of the water of life. And God will wipe from their eyes every last tear!”

Beloved, though in life you will encounter hardships, be encouraged that in eternity there will be peace that far exceeds any earthly trial. So keep your heart fixed on your ultimate home, and let its promise whisper sweetly through any current afflictions.

I AM the way and the truth – in Me you find life, so keep your eyes fixed and let nothing steal your gaze. Find peace in Me – here and now, bring heaven to earth. Rest in your eternal promise even today. For the promised Kingdom is within you, and even as you await its fullness, press into My rest that abides there. Continue reading “Promised Kingdom”

I’m Safe in Your Arms

{Pausing in His presence, I feel His arms enclose around me as I say} Papa, I know that I’m safe in Your arms. You – Olam Zerowa, the Everlasting Arms, hold me tightly. You keep me firmly sheltered in Your loving grip. Thank You for the comfort You bring.

{I feel His cheek rest on the top of my head as I nestle in like a child. He whispers} You are My beloved – so precious to Me. I call you Mine, for you are My very own.

{And as His arms close ever so slightly in a gentle squeeze He adds} You are safe with Me. I watch over you, and even My angels guard over you. Rest in My arms. Stay in My embrace. Know that you are seen, and you are loved, for you are Mine and I love you.

Psalm 121:5 (TPT) Jehovah himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.

Embrace the Truth of Who You Are

Leviticus 2:13 (VOICE) You must salt every grain offering you bring so that the salt of your covenant with God will not be missing. You will season all of the offerings you present with salt.

Beloved, salt is essential. It is a necessary part that when missing is noticeably absent. It has a call and a purpose that is needed and undeniable. It is vital to life.

And, beloved, you are the salt of the earth. You are essential. You are life-giving. You are necessary and have purpose. Denying any of that doesn’t change the truth. So embrace the truth of who you are, how you’ve been made, and what you’ve been called to, for only in doing so can you reach your full potential and find true fulfillment.

Harnessed Power

Colossians 4:6 (VOICE) When you speak the word, speak it gracefully (as if seasoned with salt), so you will know how to respond to everyone rightly.

Beloved, as you live your faith, let your life speak for itself. Resist the urge to “help” Me further the Kingdom by acting “on My behalf” without the unction of My Spirit. Passion for Me is vital, but passion alone isn’t enough. Cultivate wisdom, discernment, and understanding.

Then use that character to temper your zeal. A sawed off shot gun and a sniper rifle both have power, but only one is harnessed and has singular accuracy, which is power under control. So lay down your own agenda, yield to My leading, and allow My Spirit to guard your tongue, in doing so you become a powerful force for Me.

Wonderful You

Mark 9:50 (VOICE) Salt is a good thing; but if it has lost its zest, how can it be seasoned again? You should have salt within yourselves and peace with one another.

Beloved, refuse to allow anything to convince you that how you have been made is bad or wrong. Different isn’t bad, it is unique. Strong isn’t bad, for there are moments where strength is essential. Quiet isn’t bad, for there are moments where tenderness is vital.

However I have made you, I assure you, it was with intention and it is good. Remember, beloved, that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Trust that to be truth, and refuse to offer anything to the world other than a true representation of the wonderful you that you were created to be.
