Speak in Faith

Jeremiah 1:10 (VOICE) This very day I appointed you to speak with My authority over nations and kingdoms. Your word — My word — will have the power to uproot and stamp out; it will destroy and upend. And then your word—My word— will rebuild and plant anew.

Beloved, refuse to underestimate the power of the words you speak. For I AM the one who has filled your mouth, so your power and authority comes from Me. Truly your tongue holds the power of life and death, so wield that authority wisely.

Speak with expectancy, and have faith in the Power behind your words. For I AM Elohim Yakol – God Most Able, and nothing is too hard for Me. So expect Me to move. Expect the manifestation of My power. Expect the fullness of My glory. Speak in faith, beloved, and then wait to see Me move. Continue reading “Speak in Faith”

Focus on the Things Ahead

Isaiah 43:18 (NIV) “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

Beloved, put your focus on the things ahead. Resist the urge to get mired in the past. Yes, it is wise to learn from past mistakes, but refuse to get caught up in those momentary failures or allow them to mandate your present.

In the same way, refuse to allow the highs of past victories to distract you from moving forward. I take you from glory unto glory, so refuse to settle for less. Continue moving forward to new adventures and victories that I have awaiting you.

Thrive Together in Love

Proverbs 24:6 (VOICE) For with wise guidance, you can wage a successful war, and with a council of many advisors, you will be victorious!

Beloved, seek godly counsel. Surround yourself with those who strive to be in right relationship with Me. For as each of you seek to walk uprightly, you will challenge one another to new levels of integrity and faith. Such relationships inherently strengthen one another.

So cultivate your divine connections, and bear with one another in love through every season. Then rest on those relationships to bring wisdom and confirmation when the days of trials come. Their voices – echoing Mine – will bring comfort and strength when it is most needed. Thrive together in love.

Ask and Ask Often

Proverbs 24:5 (VOICE) A wise man possesses great strength, and an intelligent man knows how to increase it;

Beloved, exercise wisdom with what you’ve been given that I may entrust you with more. If I have given you insight, use that insight carefully and for the good of the Kingdom. If I have given you a position of authority, operate in humility and strength, and in a way that brings Me honor.

Whatever you have been given is an opportunity to demonstrate trustworthiness. So be a wise steward, and always remember I delight to give wisdom to those who ask. So ask, beloved, and ask often, so that you might make the most of what you’ve been given and reap the greatest heavenly reward.

My Love Knows No Bounds

1 Peter 3:8 (NIV) Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

Beloved, My love knows no bounds. I do not discriminate or withhold My love from any who reach for Me. I love all of My creation – those who know Me, and those who don’t. I bring rain and sun on both the righteous and the unrighteous. I AM generous with My goodness.

If you are made in My image and are called to be like Me, then you also should love without restraint. It is beautiful to see My children love without bias or discrimination – for them to love unconditionally without judgment. For the world knows much of judgment, but not enough of love and mercy.

Therefore, extend it to all – give it as though it is a gift for Me, because it is. Your generosity of spirit is a sweet offering before My throne because I love to see My children love like Me.

My Fingerprints

Romans 1:20 (NLT) For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Beloved, shout your hallelujah! Refuse to silence your praise. For I AM worthy, and I AM high and lifted up – the exalted One – all glory belongs to Me. My fingerprints across creation declare the truth of who I AM. See Me.

You may not see the air you breathe though it sustains your life, and yet with total faith you accept its presence and the truth of its existence. In the same way, see My handiwork and allow it to point to Me. For I AM, and I AM good.

Embrace the Adventure

Psalm 62:5 (NKJV) My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation [is] from Him.

Beloved, hold loosely that which is to come. Trust Me, and trust in My plans – even when they take unexpected form. For I AM good, and My plans for you are good – regardless of whether they are expected or not.

So embrace the adventure. Trust Me to be at work on your behalf, and make each step as I lead you. You need not see the journey’s end when you begin, for therein lies the essence of faith. So embrace the adventure, and rest your expectations in Me.

I AM the Way Maker

Isaiah 43:19 (NLT) For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

Beloved, get ready for what comes next. I love to surprise you and to stretch you. So prepare your heart for My plans, whatever they may be. Enjoy the journey – with all its twists and turns, for you know that I AM with you and at work in it all for good.

Cultivate a sense of expectancy based on who you know I AM. Wait with joy as you step out in faith knowing I AM making the way straight for you. Look for My hand at work, and rejoice and give glory to Me. For, beloved, I AM the way maker and nothing is too hard for Me.

Embrace Truth

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (VOICE) because a time will come when some will no longer tolerate sound teaching. Instead, they will live by their own desires; they’ll scratch their itching ears by surrounding themselves with teachers who approve of their lifestyles and tell them what they want to hear. They will turn away from the real truth you have to offer because they prefer the sound of fables and myths.

Beloved, resist the urge to find things to reinforce what you want to believe or what makes you comfortable, and instead open yourself to truth. Truth will not always be easy. Truth will often challenge you. But in the end, beloved, it is truth that sets you free.

So yield yourself to My Spirit’s correction – knowing I chasten those I love. Prepare yourself for being wrong, needing a course change, and not having it all figured out because all those things will happen. And whether those moments are received and handled with grace often determines what comes next.

Embrace truth, be open to the guidance of My Spirit, and trust My Spirit to move in the hearts of others. Absolve yourself of the false responsibility of changing anyone else’s mind – leave that to Me. Let your focus be on loving well and walking with Me in truth.

Safe within My Arms {Moments with God}

{He whispers} Hide yourself in Me. Hover close. Find refuge in the shadow of My wings.

{I feel Him reaching as if to pull me in. I have only to yield and stay close. And yet – oh and yet – the temptation to forge my own path and go my own way is strong. I look to Him and look away – considering my choice. But in the end I take the only one that can possibly end well, and I surrender myself into His care. As I snuggle in, He kisses my head and holds me close, and whispers} You’ve chosen well, beloved. I love you with all My heart. You can trust Me to sustain you, and know you’re always safe within My arms.

Psalm 91:1 (VOICE) He who takes refuge in the shelter of the Most High will be safe in the shadow of the Almighty.
