An Attitude of Thanksgiving and Praise

Psalm 118:28 (VOICE) You are my God, and I give You thanks; You are my God, and I praise You.

Beloved, regardless of circumstance, keep your heart toward Me in an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. There are always reasons to rejoice. Thank Me for the breath in your lungs. Thank Me for My love. Even thank Me for the blessings to come and for being constantly mindful of you. I AM worthy of your praise and I AM worthy of your thanks.

Keeping your heart in that joyously worshipful posture positions you for more blessings while intentionally cultivating peace in your heart. Refuse to allow the enemy to steal your peace, joy, praise, or gratitude. Refuse to allow circumstances and situations to inject worry. Trust Me. Trust My love for you. Steadfastly know My plans for you are good.

Constant Communion

Philippians 1:4 (VOICE) My spirit is lightened with joy whenever I pray for you and I do constantly

Beloved, keep your heart in an attitude of prayer always – in constant communion with Me. Stay tuned into My voice. Ready and awaiting My instruction. My sheep know My voice and another’s they will not follow, so trust that you will hear Me and hear Me rightly.

Freedom and refreshing are found in My presence. Be strengthened and restored with My joy. Listen intently for My still small voice directing you, “this is the way, walk ye in it.” My desire for you to know My heart exceeds your desire to hear, so trust that I will make clear My thoughts when you earnestly desire to know them.

Be Insatiable for Me

Psalm 63:1 (VOICE) O True God, You are my God, the One whom I trust. I seek You with every fiber of my being. In this dry and weary land with no water in sight, my soul is dry and longs for You. My body aches for You, for Your presence.

Beloved, hunger and thirst for Me. Understand I AM your true sustenance and the only one who satisfies. Long for Me as though your thirst will never be quenched – be insatiable for Me. For though I satisfy, there is always more – new depths, new heights, fresh revelations – continuously pursue My heart.

Refuse to settle for less. Refuse to be content with weak substitutes. Refuse to let man made visions replace downloads from My throne for nothing compares to Me. I AM worth the pursuit. I AM worth the effort, worth building a relationship with. Nothing can satisfy you like I can. Refuse to settle for second best, instead only content yourself with Me.

Lift Your Voice in Song

Colossians 3:16 (VOICE) Let the word of the Anointed One richly inhabit your lives. With all wisdom teach, counsel, and instruct one another. Sing the psalms, compose hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit, and keep on singing—sing to God from hearts full and spilling over with thankfulness.

Beloved, lift your voice in song. I AM worthy of your praise, worthy of your affection. Release a sound. Give voice to the overflow of your heart. Let My word pour forth from your lips. Make My heart known. Release it into the atmosphere on the wings of joy. Breath life. Prophesy.

You are created in My image and I AM the Creator, I spoke life into existence – the sound of My voice reverberating through heaven and earth. Do likewise. Lift your voice. Don’t hesitate. Refuse to allow timidity, lack of perfection, or performance anxiety to hinder you from breaking forth. I have put song in your heart, release it, beloved.

Obedience Born of Love

Matthew 5:48 (VOICE) But you are called to something higher: “Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Beloved, I AM righteous just as you are you are called to righteousness. Being given the gift of grace in no way absolves you from the responsibility to walk in obedience. If salvation is your only motivation for obedience, then your heart is amiss.

Choose obedience out of your love for Me and out of a desire to please Me. I am well aware you will fall short, but your desire and efforts bless My heart and set you apart from the world. Continuing to try after you’ve failed demonstrates a keen perseverance and sends a message to those around you that I AM worth the effort. So be a person of integrity and holiness. Be like Me.

Rock of Ages

Isaiah 26:4 (AMPC) So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Beloved, I AM the Rock of Ages – an everlasting fortress and stronghold. I AM your safety and protection, your rear guard, the One who watches over you. Put your trust in Me. Rely on Me. Deem Me trustworthy, and allow your actions to reflect that. Show the world through your bold confidence in Me, that I AM who I say I AM – that I AM God.

Choose Me, beloved, without fear or second guessing. I AM the Lord of Hosts, the Everlasting Arms, I AM your rock – a very present help in times of trouble. Look to Me and know I always provide a way. Simply seek Me and I will guide your feet and make your path sure. For you are Mine, beloved, and I do not desert My own.

I AM Your Source

Haggai 2:8 (NLT) The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.

Beloved, I AM your source of supply. Be at peace and trust Me. Resist the urge to hold on tightly to what you have (for I cannot put anything into a closed hand) as well as the urge to be reckless or indulgent. Ask Me not just for provision, but for wisdom on what to do with what you have. Then be obedient to the instructions I give.

Strive to be content. Be thankful for all you do have rather than obsessing over that which you don’t. Seek My heart rather than simply My blessing for My heart is the true prize just as yours is the greatest gift you can give Me. Your Life is in My Hands

Proverbs 27:1 (ESV) Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

Beloved, your life is in My hands. It’s fine for you to make plans as long as you hold them loosely, prepared to yield your will to Mine. You are not in control, but neither do you need to be. I AM faithful and trustworthy. The safest place you can possibly be is in the center of My will.

So resist the urge to be presumptuous in your planning and seek My counsel on all matters. I AM the only one who knows what tomorrow holds, so ask Me for wisdom and guidance regarding each step. Trust your life in My capable hands.

Press On

1 Timothy 6:12 (NIV) Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Beloved, stand fast in your faith regardless of the attacks launched against you. I AM with you and will never leave you or forsake you. I will not give you more than you can handle and I always provide a means of escape – so look for it.

In that moment where you feel all is lost, remember My grace is sufficient. You have all you need because you have Me. The hosts of heaven are cheering you on and stand ready at My command. Ask Me for help for I AM here and will never leave. Refuse to allow shame or hopelessness to defeat you. The strength that you need to push through is yours already, so press on, beloved. Press on.

Be a God-Pleaser

Proverbs 29:25 (VOICE) If you fear other people, you are walking into a dangerous trap; but if you trust in the Eternal, you will be safe.

Beloved, refuse to fall into the trap of being caught up with what other people think. There will always be those who both approve and disapprove of your thoughts and actions so to fall prey to the fruitless efforts of people-pleasing enslaves you and distracts you from your true calling and purpose.

Seek Me. Seek to do My will and meet My approval and pleasure. The only way to truly be safe and at peace is in My will. Be a God-pleaser. Nothing will bring you fulfillment like knowing you are right with Me. That is a place a rest and peace. Find Me there.
