Choose Me

1 John 3:8 (AMP) The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.

Beloved, resist the urge to create separation from Me. Refuse to choose anything which causes such separation. For I AM here, I AM with you and I have chosen you. In return, choose Me. 

And choose Me over and over as temptation comes. Know that relationship with Me exceeds the fulfillment or joy that anything else claims to give. So lay aside anything that would inhibit your closeness with Me, and pursue Me with your whole heart – just as I pursue you.

Find Your Shelter in Me

Proverbs 29:25 (VOICE) If you fear other people, you are walking into a dangerous trap; but if you trust in the Eternal, you will be safe.

Beloved, refuse to be caught in the snare of the enemy. Resist the urge to be caught up in the fear of man, for I AM Lord of All. What man is higher than Me? Whose hand extends further than Mine?

Find peace in Me, beloved. I AM El Elyon, the most high God, and there is none above Me. Find your shelter in the shadow of My wings, and in that place find your rest. I AM all you need.

My Steadfast Affection

Psalm 42:3 (VOICE) Right now I’m overwhelmed by my sorrow and pain; I can’t stop feasting on my tears. People crowd around me and say, “Where is your True God whom you claim will save? ”

Beloved, I AM with you in your sorrow. I AM with you in your pain. Know My heart is for you, and that will not ever change. Press in to Me for comfort. May My Spirit give you hope. No matter what befalls you, I’m with you through it all.

So when the walk is painful and trouble seems everywhere, know I’m ever faithful, and let My love find you there. May My steadfast affection heal you, and My strength build you up. May My peace become your keystone, and My joy restore your soul.

Walk in Freedom

Romans 6:14 (NLT) Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

Beloved, when you chose My covenant of grace, you were set free from the bondage of sin. Now is the time to walk in that freedom. Refuse to allow yourself to be ensnared by traps that have been laid for you.

Resist that which would enslave you and walk in truth. Refuse to make even small compromises to your faith. Give no quarter to the enemy. I AM with you. I strengthen you. Look to me and be not afraid. Rather walk with joy in the freedom you have been given.

Be Holy as I AM Holy

Romans 6:1-2 (NLT) Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

Beloved, returning to sin makes about as much sense as rolling in dog excrement right after bathing. When you gave your life to Me, you chose a clean life. That choice declared future intentions. Would you then go back on your word as though it were nothing simply because you know that I love you enough to forgive you again?

Just as a good parent will continue to love their child regardless of their behavior, so I will always love you – even though that love comes at a cost. But I also know the consequences to your choices and want better for you. So make wise choices, beloved. Be steadfast in your desire to walk in righteousness – be holy as I AM holy.

Come and Know Me More

Psalm 18:11-12 (TPT) Wrapped and hidden in the thick-cloud darkness, his thunder-tabernacle surrounded him. He hid himself in mystery-darkness; the dense rain clouds were his garments. Suddenly the brilliance of his presence broke through with lightning bolts and with a mighty storm from heaven— like a tempest dropping coals of fire.

Beloved, I cloak Myself in glory and mystery surrounds Me, and yet I beckon you closer and welcome you into My presence. I AM power and authority. My holiness radiates from My presence. Come and know Me – come and know Me more.

Be reverent, but also be bold. Know who I AM, but also understand who you are. Move past any seeming contradictions, and simply choose to know Me. Choose to pursue Me. Be undone in My presence and overcome by the radiance of My glory.

I Choose You

Deuteronomy 1:8 (NKJV) See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord  swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them.’

Beloved, don’t hesitate when I set the path before you and instruct you to move forward. Trust that what I have promised, I will deliver. Walk in bold authority – empowered by My Spirit, and step into that which I have for you.

My desire is to bless My children. Resist the urge to feel yourself unworthy of being blessed. You don’t have to earn My love, beloved, for it is freely given and is beyond measure. This has nothing to do with worth. It has everything to do with choice, and I choose you.

Showers of Blessing

Ezekiel 34:26 (VOICE) I will make them and the area around My holy hill a blessing. At My direction, there will be plenty of rainfall when it is needed. There will be showers of blessing!

Beloved, trust My provision. For I rain down My blessings in season as there is need, and My ears are attuned to your cries. So open your hand and receive. You don’t need to grasp or strive. Rather rest in My flow.

Allow My Spirit to lead, and trust that I lead you rightly. For My eye is on the sparrow, so I’m certainly aware of you – My precious child. Trust yourself to My care, and receive the showers of blessing as they come, for they surely will.

God of the Impossible

Numbers 23:19 (VOICE) God is not a man—He doesn’t lie. God isn’t the son of a man to want to take back what He’s said, Or say something and not follow through, or speak and not act on it.

Beloved, am I not God? Refuse to try to contain Me within the confines of your limited understanding, or limit My abilities by the breadth of your imagination. I AM greater than you can understand, and My authority exceeds any expectation.

I AM faithful and I AM good. My Word is bedrock. You cannot manipulate or control Me, but you can trust Me completely. I have perspective you do not, so trust Me to know what is best and trust Me to keep My promises, for I AM the God of the impossible because nothing is impossible with Me.

Your True Plumb Line

Psalm 143:2 (VOICE) Be kind and slow to judge Your faithful servant, for compared to You, no one is truly just.

Beloved, rely on Me to be your true plumb line. For regardless of your best efforts, you will always function with bias and flawed judgment. Only I AM the righteous judge, so resist the urge to attempt to stand in My shoes.

Rather lean on Me. Trust Me to guide you in true righteousness. Love as I love. For as you walk as a reflection of Me, you manifest My glory in the earth and make My heart known to the children of men.
