Rest and Rely on the Lover of Your Soul

Proverbs 3:23-24 (VOICE) Then each one of your steps will land securely on your life’s journey, and you will not trip or fall. Your mind will be clear, free from fear; when you lie down to rest, you will be refreshed by sweet sleep.

Beloved, rest in Me. Trust Me to guide each step – gently correcting when necessary – and strengthening you along the way as you lean on Me. Live in the place of peace that brings.

In Me, there is no fear. In Me, there is no confusion. Rest and rely on the Lover of your soul, because in Me your peace abounds. So be still, beloved, and sleep sweetly in My arms. I hold you fast and will never let you go.

Feel the Breath of My Spirit

Genesis 8:1 (VOICE) …When it was time, God sent the wind to blow over all of the earth, and the waters began to subside.

Beloved, feel the breath of My Spirit in motion. Feel it shifting and changing things – changing the landscape, shifting the atmosphere. Never underestimate the power of My breath, for I AM fully able to bring abrupt and radical change.

My breath can part seas – bringing dry land where water once flowed deep. Think you that I cannot breath life and change in you as well? Receive My breath of life over you and all the things concerning you. Be not afraid of the change My wind may bring, for though life may bring change, when it comes from Me you know it will be for the good.

Ask Rightly

1 Kings 3:12 (AMP) behold, I have done as you asked. I have given you a wise and discerning heart (mind), so that no one before you was your equal, nor shall anyone equal to you arise after you.

Beloved, I hear and respond. Be mindful to ask rightly. For many accuse Me of faithlessness when the motivations behind their requests were amiss. Yet in My abundant patience I cause situations and circumstances to open their eyes and I extend My grace to them.

But you, beloved, desire to ask rightly. So invite Me to inspect your heart and stay open to My loving chastening. I will not grow angry or frustrated at your petitions, so extend the same grace to Me in My responses. And always ask for wisdom, for I will never withhold it. And in turn use it to know Me more. Rest in My Love

Genesis 28:15 (NIV) I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.

Beloved, you are never beyond My sight. For My eye is ever upon you, and My heart is ever toward you. You are My beloved one, and My promises for you are steadfast just as My heart is ever true. Rest in My love.

I know where I AM leading you. Have faith in My plans. Trust that each step is a necessary part of the greater plan I AM accomplishing in and through you. Be at peace as you rest in My love knowing My promises are yes and amen. Beloved, if I have said it, it is as good as done. Be at peace and trust in Me.

A Yielded Vessel Bears Much Fruit

2 Kings 2:10 (VOICE) Elijah:  What you have requested of me is challenging, but it will be done if you witness my departure. But if you do not watch, then you will not have your double portion.

Beloved, you desire increase, but remember it often comes as a result of obedience and vigilance. Be sensitive to My Spirit’s leadings and you don’t miss a thing. Be ready and alert, and – when I give direction – be quick to obey.

Remember, beloved, your understanding isn’t required for you to be obedient. Step out in faith. Trust My direction. Trust I’ll bring loving correction when needed. So obey and trust, and then watch as I increase the powerful ways I move through you. A yielded vessel bears much fruit.

Ask in Faith

2 Kings 2:9 (VOICE) After the two had made it to the other side of the Jordan, Elijah spoke to Elisha. Elijah: Tell me what it is you would like me to do for you before I am taken away from you. Elisha: Please, I wish to receive a double portion of your spirit. As your successor, I want to have twice the portion of your power.

Beloved, if anointing is what you seek, don’t be afraid to ask. I love to empower My children, and I love to work through you. For those who are willing and tenacious in their faith, I AM able to do amazing and awesome things.

So if you desire to move powerfully on My behalf, cultivate relationship with Me and ask boldly. For I have given you access because of My love for you, so approach Me without hesitation, and ask in faith expecting Me to respond.

Be Faithful in All Things

Job 8:7 (KJV) Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Beloved, do not despise small beginnings, or grow impatient when the increase seems delayed. For I build character in the waiting, and much is made clear of who you are with how you tend that which appears insignificant or beneath your notice. 

Be diligent in all things I set your hands to. Resist the urge to judge by human standards of big or small. The impact of a small bone being out of place is big, and in the same way the small thing you tend today can have larger ramifications than you understand. So be faithful with all things, and trust Me to bring increase in My timing.

Trust My Sovereignty

Psalm 37:8-9 (TPT) Stay away from anger and revenge. Keep envy far from you, for it only leads you into lies. For one day the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will live safe and sound with blessings overflowing.

Beloved, hold fast to your heart of forgiveness. Be steadfast in gratitude. Refuse the traps of resentment and greed, instead resting in a place of contentment as you trust My sovereignty.

For those who trust in Me will not be put to shame. No, they live safely wrapped in My loving arms – resting in the shadow of My wings. My blessings overtake them, and they rise up as if on eagle’s wings. How sweet the sleep of those who dwell with Me.

Stir the Hope Within You

Psalm 37:7 (TPT) Quiet your heart in his presence and pray; keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked in their prosperity are better off than you.

Beloved, stir the hope within you, and know I AM ever near. I will not leave you lonely, nor desert you when you are in need of My hand. I see you. I AM with you. Keep your heart steadfast in faith.

Refuse to waste time in comparison, looking to see with earthly eyes and human understanding where My focus seems to be. Rather trust My heart towards you is steadfast and good, and know that I AM trustworthy and true. Encourage yourself in your faith as you put your hope in Me.

You are Seen by Me

Psalm 37:6 (TPT) He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun.

Beloved, you are seen by Me. Trust that I AM your defender and I AM your light. I bring forth justice for My children – My eye is ever upon them. I AM your righteousness, YHVH Tsidkenu – the Lord your righteousness. 

You are the apple of My eye. Think you that I would stand idly by as you are accused or besmirched? Never. If it seems I hold My peace, trust that it is for a reason. You are never unseen or ignored, beloved, for you are precious to Me.
