Open Your Heart and Believe

Genesis 18:14 (AMP) Is anything too difficult or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.

Beloved, I AM capable of the miraculous, so stretch your faith and open your heart wider and believe. Resist the urge to only have faith in Me for the things you think I’m able to accomplish. I AM so much greater than you even know.

Expect the unexpected. Expectation like this is an active waiting, not an entitlement. It is a joyful hope based on who you know I AM, and what you –  in faith – know Me to be capable of. I AM the God of the supernatural, so open your heart and believe.

Careless Words

Proverbs 12:18 (NLT) Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.

Beloved, there will always be those who don’t moderate their words, and their careless barbs may sting though they originate from thoughtlessness or ignorance. And though the words may hurt, they do not have the power to change the truth of who you are. Nor do they get to shift My perception of you, so refuse to let them change your perspective of yourself.

You are My beloved one. If I have an area to correct you in, I will do so in love – just as a good Father always should. So stand firmly in your inherent identity, and refuse to be shaken. You are a child of the light and truth is your foundation.

My Humble Ones

2 Timothy 4:8 (TPT) There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me, and I know that my Lord will reward me on his day of righteous judgment. And this crown is not only waiting for me, but for all who love and long for his unveiling.

Beloved, I will not withhold My blessings from My faithful ones. Those who have bowed their heads in humility are prepared to be crowned in glory. And beloved, you have chosen the humble road. You have chosen selflessness. You’ve chosen to place others before yourself – and that choice has cost you dearly.

And yet, time after time you’ve chosen the humble road – in part because it’s all you’ve ever known, but in part because you’ve known it pleases Me. And though this road is the one less chosen, and though the cost is high (death to self), the glory I bestow upon My humble ones is well worth the cost.

So receive, My beloved, for My blessing I will not withhold. And My glory I will lavish upon you. Be swept away in the secret place – a place where no one else can see, and yet I see. I see you – My eye is ever upon you. And I will grant you peace and abundance, so receive. Continue reading “My Humble Ones”

I AM the Living God

Luke 24:5 (TPT) Terrified, the women fell to the ground on their faces. The men in white said to them, “Why would you look for the living One in a tomb? He is not here, for he has risen!

Beloved, too often people are tempted to look for Me in the wrong places. They forget the full majesty of My glory and the awesome authority of My sovereignty. I AM bigger than most can begin to understand.  Resist the urge to fall into that trap. See Me as I AM: the King of Glory, Lord of all, the Living God.

I AM high and lifted up – holy and worthy of all honor and praise. See Me, beloved, and understand that with all that I AM, you are the apple of My eye. Despite the greatness of My majesty and the weight of My authority, I know your every need, count your every hair, and catch your every tear. You are My beloved, and I AM the Living God.

Be Bold in the Holy Spirit

Acts 4:13 (TPT) The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courage of Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.

Beloved, boldness doesn’t have to come from training or education. Boldness can come from firm and unwavering belief. True faith doesn’t come from unquestionable physical evidence, for where would faith be in simple fact? To exercise faith is to be confident in what is understood through less tangible means.

So rather than waiting for irrefutable evidence or certain levels of education, instead allow yourself to be bold in the Holy Spirit. Allow Me to lead and direct you – often in ways you’d never expect, and see how I move in and through you for My glory. That, beloved, is true faith – being wholly yielded to Me.

Lunchtime Live: Boldly Be You

Face the Storm with Boldness

Proverbs 1:27 (VOICE) When panic comes like a stormy blast, when misfortune sweeps in like a whirlwind, when sorrow and anguish weigh you down.

Beloved, listen for Me in the winds and in the rain and thunder. Though the storms may come and rock, My presence never leaves you. So face the storm with boldness and strength knowing that I AM with you. I strengthen you and lift you up, the waves will not overtake you.

So rest, beloved, in My waiting arms and let nothing trouble you. I AM waiting here right by your side – cling to Me for I AM steadfast. So breathe, beloved, and refuse to let the darkness overshadow you, for My light’s strong rays banish the dark so let their warmth embrace you.

Breathe Me In {Moments with God}

{my heart cries} Father, why do You feel so far away. Where are You as the waves of grief and sadness crash over me seeking to crush my very soul? I know that You are YHVH Shammah – You are present. Intellectually, I know You’re here, probably even holding Me in Your loving embrace – so why can’t I feel Your touch?

{my heart reaches out, like a hand extending, seeking the Father’s heart – asking Him to tighten His grip that I might feel Him}

{He gently replies} Shift your focus, beloved. Stop looking at the grief and focusing on the pain. I’m right here with you – holding you so tight. I’m capturing each tear and counting each hair on your head – every part of you and every thought and concern of your heart of the utmost importance to Me. Yes, beloved, pause and shift your focus to Me. Reach out to Me and feel My grip. I AM here. I AM present. I will never leave you. Stand fast and breathe. Breathe Me in. Be comforted by the wind of My Spirit – refreshing, renewing, bringing hope. Breathe Me in, for I AM here to strengthen you. You are the apple of My eye and I love you. Be still and let Me saturate you with My love. Just breathe.

Psalm 10:1 (VOICE) Why, O Eternal One, are You so far away? Why can’t You be found during troubling times?

Trust Your Heart to Me

Matthew 6:26 (VOICE) Look at the birds in the sky. They do not store food for winter. They don’t plant gardens. They do not sow or reap—and yet, they are always fed because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are even more precious to Him than a beautiful bird. If He looks after them, of course He will look after you.

Beloved, My tender care is apparent for all to see, and you are precious to Me. I never miss a thing – I AM mindful of details – nothing is beneath My notice. Will you receive from Me? Extend your hand, beloved, and accept what I have for you – even if it isn’t what you expected or hoped for. Trust in Me and in My goodness.

My thoughts toward you are good thoughts, so while you may not understand My actions, you can rest in the knowledge I AM good. I AM faithful and unerringly careful with your heart. Trust it in My capable hands.

Trust in My Sovereignty

Jeremiah 32:17 (VOICE) Eternal Lord, with Your outstretched arm and Your enormous power You created the heavens and the earth. Nothing is too difficult for You.

Beloved, pause and try to fully comprehend My power. Whatever you can think of, I AM able. Simply because I don’t move, doesn’t mean I can’t. I see what you do not see, and I understand what you cannot understand. Know that I AM sovereign, and trust in My sovereignty.

I AM Lord of all. Simply because I don’t remove trials, doesn’t mean I’m unfeeling or unable. Rather, there are times where instead of removing the trial, I take your hand and walk you through. Like gold refined in the fire, so such times refine one’s character and beautify those willing to yield to the process.

So know whether I protect you from trials or in the midst of them, I AM with you. And I AM more than able to take care of those I love, and beloved, that is you.

Open Your Mouth and Let Me Fill It

Amos 3:8 (VOICE) The lion has roared; who is not afraid? The Eternal Lord has been heard; His prophets can’t help but prophesy.

Beloved, the Lamb was slain, but behold, the Lion of Judah is alive and roaring. My sound activating the earth – a cry to My beloved ones. So open your mouth and let Me fill it. Allow My life-giving flow to pour forth from your lips, an overflow from your heart.

Stand in holy reverence, beloved. Acknowledge Me as King. Give honor where honor is due, and may your life demonstrate “holiness to the Lord” that those around you would see and know I AM God.

Exodus 28:36 (NKJV) “You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, [like] the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
