Righteous Reflection

Psalm 141:5 (VOICE) Let those who do right strike me down in kindness and correct me in love. Their kind correction washes over my head like pure oil; do not let me be foolish and refuse such compassion…

Beloved, stay receptive to correction and open to instruction. Let those who speak in wisdom reflect My heart. For I guide you with My eye, and chasten those I love, so expect My direction from wherever it may come.

Refuse to take offense to admonishment. For even when unkindly given, it may give insight that can strengthen you. So bring it all to Me in prayer, trusting that I will lead you. Then in humility live as best as you can as a righteous reflection of Me.

Flow in Every Aspect of My Holy Spirit

Proverbs 24:3-4 (VOICE) Wisdom is required to build a house; understanding is necessary to make it secure. Knowledge is needed to furnish all the rooms and fill them with beautiful treasures.

Beloved, wisdom is wonderful, but alone it is not enough. Understanding is needed to know how to use the wisdom you’ve been given. Resist the urge to pridefully presume you know what is best simply because I have given you enlightenment. Seek Me for guidance on what to do with what you’ve been given.

For just as I invite you to flow in My Holy Spirit’s Wisdom, so I invite you to flow in a Spirit of Understanding. In the same way the body (both natural and the Body of Christ) needs all its parts to function, so you should seek to flow in every aspect of My Holy Spirit to operate in the fullness of what you’re capable of in My power.

As You Seek, Ask

John 14:26 (CSB) “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.

Beloved, refuse to be overwhelmed by what you read in My Word. For My Holy Spirit was given to you and is fully able to bring revelation. All people are without understanding until revelation comes, and you can spend the rest of your life plumbing the depths of My Word.

So seek, beloved. And as you seek, remember to ask. Ask for wisdom. Ask for insight. Ask for understanding. Ask for how to implement what you’ve read and understood. Trust My Holy Spirit to lead you righty. But seek His counsel, for that is why He was given to you.

Thrive Together in Love

Proverbs 24:6 (VOICE) For with wise guidance, you can wage a successful war, and with a council of many advisors, you will be victorious!

Beloved, seek godly counsel. Surround yourself with those who strive to be in right relationship with Me. For as each of you seek to walk uprightly, you will challenge one another to new levels of integrity and faith. Such relationships inherently strengthen one another.

So cultivate your divine connections, and bear with one another in love through every season. Then rest on those relationships to bring wisdom and confirmation when the days of trials come. Their voices – echoing Mine – will bring comfort and strength when it is most needed. Thrive together in love.

Ask and Ask Often

Proverbs 24:5 (VOICE) A wise man possesses great strength, and an intelligent man knows how to increase it;

Beloved, exercise wisdom with what you’ve been given that I may entrust you with more. If I have given you insight, use that insight carefully and for the good of the Kingdom. If I have given you a position of authority, operate in humility and strength, and in a way that brings Me honor.

Whatever you have been given is an opportunity to demonstrate trustworthiness. So be a wise steward, and always remember I delight to give wisdom to those who ask. So ask, beloved, and ask often, so that you might make the most of what you’ve been given and reap the greatest heavenly reward.

The Asset of Wisdom

1 Corinthians 8:1 (AMP) …Knowledge [alone] makes [people self-righteously] arrogant, but love [that unselfishly seeks the best for others] builds up and encourages others to grow [in wisdom].

Beloved, I don’t bestow My wisdom for the purpose of puffing someone up. In the same way that food is intended to be fuel for your body rather than something indulged in to excess for no purpose, so My wisdom is given with intention. Therefore, be intentional with the asset of wisdom I bestow on you.

Seek My counsel for what to do with the wisdom you’ve been given – the same way you would seek My counsel about your finances or any other asset. Know that sometimes I’ve simply shared wisdom with you to cultivate intimacy between us and not for the purpose of regurgitating to others.

Regardless of My purpose, be as intentional to seek Me with fervor on what to do with My mysteries as you are in the gaining of them. For those who seek Me to ask for wisdom will receive it without fail.

Obedient Devotion

Proverbs 1:7 (TPT) How then does a man gain the essence of wisdom? We cross the threshold of true knowledge when we live in obedient devotion to God. Stubborn know-it-alls will never stop to do this, for they scorn true wisdom and knowledge.

Beloved, live in obedient devotion to Me. Comb through My Word, and discover what true obedience looks like, then walk in it. Resist the urge to dismiss that which you don’t understand. Instead inquire of My Holy Spirit for clarity, and truly learn of Me.

Embrace wisdom, for true wisdom comes from Me. Remember My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are My ways your ways. Expect the unexpected, and trust My ability to lead as you seek to humbly submit. That, beloved, is the essence of wisdom. Continue reading “Obedient Devotion”

Be a Wise Caretaker

1 Corinthians 4:1 (VOICE) Rather than power brokers, think of us as servants of the Anointed One, the Liberating King, caretakers of the mysteries of God.

Beloved, be wise with what I give you. Just as you wouldn’t go around indiscriminately handing out currency, you also should be intentional and circumspect about that which I have given you. I reveal with purpose, so align with Me and show you can be trusted with more.

You do not have to prove your intimacy with Me to others by sharing all I’ve given you, just as a married couple has no need to reveal their intimacies to prove the validity of their relationship. Intimacy is cultivated through shared moments, and there are times something is lost in the sharing.

So be a wise steward of the gifts I give you regardless of the form they take. And just as you resist the urge to  squander what I’ve given, also resist the urge to hoard it. What I give you is often for appointed moments, so be willing to pour out just as I have poured in. I will direct you. So be a wise caretaker of My mysteries, so I can share even more.

Come Play with Me

Proverbs 25:2 (AMP) It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Beloved, come and play with Me. I have hidden things that you might enjoy the process of ferreting them out (and learning much along the way). Resist the urge to be spiritually lazy – constantly looking for someone else to feed you the fruits of their labor, and instead grow in strength and wisdom by doing so yourself.

In the same way you can sustain life on fast food, but not one that is healthy and fulfilling; so your spiritual life can limp along on nothing but regurgitated wisdom, but nothing is a substitute for a deep personal relationship with Me – including the joys, trials, and the treasure hunts. So come play with Me, beloved, and flourish in the sustenance intimacy brings.

The Blessing of Wisdom

Proverbs 3:13 (TPT) Those who find true wisdom obtain the tools for understanding, the proper way to live, for they will have a fountain of blessing pouring into their lives. To gain the riches of wisdom is far greater than gaining the wealth of the world.

Beloved, seek the blessing of wisdom, for it is of more value than riches. The insight it brings serves as a most valuable companion in all areas of life. So seek it, value it, and demonstrate wisdom by implementing it.

Draw deeply from the well of wisdom, for sweet are her waters. They bring life and the key to its abundance. Refuse to settle for simply the opinions of man, and instead relentlessly pursue the wisdom that comes from Me alone.
